00:00Sonny Gray is probably not going to be pitching where he is now, or at least we don't think he
00:05will be. I guess that's to be determined at this point as things sort of turn around here at Boston.
00:09But 19 innings pitched, an ERA under one, 19 strikeouts, four walks. Gray has delivered on
00:17the mound all season long for Boston as they start to win a little bit here. Interestingly
00:22enough, the American League is just so bad that they've been able to stay alive. But man, Gray
00:26has been great here, Tom. And it seems like wherever he pitches, he's really
00:30good, right? Like, it just doesn't matter of the team. I mean, he's been around a long time in the
00:33big leagues. People forget this is more than a 10-year guy. Yeah, he was with Oakland to start.
00:38He was straight to the Yankees. He's been with the Reds. He's been really all over the place. But
00:43you know, to your point with the Red Sox, they're only half game out from a wild card. You know,
00:47we were talking about them a week ago saying, OK, where are they going to sit? What are they going
00:50to do? They're on an eight-game winning streak as of right now. And Sonny Gray would be the guy
00:56that we have talked about over the past few shows, Gray, that saying a playoff-bound team
00:59would want him. They don't need him as an ace. They don't need him as a two. But you give
01:03him
01:03on a three spot on a playoff-bound team, that's the type of guy a team wants. I'm not sure
01:08the
01:09Red Sox will be moving him now.
