00:00I want to start with the Boston Red Sox.
00:02This one's actually really clear for me.
00:05How do you utilize Tolley and Connelly early?
00:08Peyton Tolley has come out of the bullpen.
00:10Connelly early has looked really good over the course of his first three starts in Major League Baseball.
00:16How big of a role are they playing in the postseason?
00:20I've got a lot of confidence that the Boston Red Sox are in the dance.
00:23Obviously, it's not solidified just yet.
00:24It's going to come down to the final weekend.
00:26But I want to see how those guys perform over the final week and then how they're used in October.
00:33It's funny because I was really encouraged by Connelly early's last start because he was bad in the first command issues,
00:42locked back in and gave them four innings and the next three were relatively clean.
00:47So I really do like early as the starter there.
00:49And I think Tolley as a reliever can give me a rocket ship.
00:52And then, of course, they're going to move him back to the rotation next year.
00:55But I think in that role now, it could be really successful.
00:57I have a little question about the pitching.
00:58Even Kyle Harrison popping up and having a nice first big league start for the Red Sox was great.
01:04My biggest concern with them, you just got Will, you're back.

01:09He's got to get going quickly now because if he doesn't, outside of Jaron Duran, Alex Bregman,
01:15and Trevor's story at the top of this lineup, who do you fear?
01:21Not only fear, who do you feel like is going to give you a decent shot at above average production down the stretch here?
01:27They've got Yoshida in the cleanup spot and he had a great series.
01:30But Romy Gonzalez, I love in platoon matchups.
01:35Nathaniel Lau, like that first week was fun.
01:37It just hasn't been there.
01:37Narvaez has hit a wall.
01:39Rafaela has been PCA, but the American League version.
01:43I don't know who I trust in that grouping, if anybody right now.
01:49I don't think I trust anyone.
01:50But again, like it's about people when you get there.
01:54And you just wonder, like, can the big boppers take you all the way home?
02:00And I feel like the answer for the Boston Red Sox is probably no, because there's almost always like this complimentary person that steps up out of nowhere.
02:08But like, it's not really out of nowhere because you know that guy can do it.
02:13You know, again, like calling back to this Dave Roberts, Bob Costas conversation over the weekend, like Kike Hernandez is somebody that everybody has supreme confidence in stepping up in the month of October.
02:23Because like, they're willing to take on that moment.
02:25We just haven't seen it from anybody in the Boston Red Sox.
02:28Like anybody in that grouping that you mentioned, we have no idea what Will Yarbray can do in the postseason.
02:34We have no idea what Sidon can do in the postseason.
02:37I'd be curious to find out, but I feel like you can see that in trace amounts at the tail end of the regular season.
02:45So I feel like this is a huge week for that other clump that you're talking about here.
