00:55and this is another guy with brooks i saw he had a new putter this week he'd gone to the

01:00went back to a different sort of scotty cameron half mallet type situation just wondering what it's
01:05going to be for him uh he said he's going to go play dp world tour a few events this
01:09fall and then
01:10maybe come back and play a few pga tour events at the end of the fall season um but just
01:15trying to
01:15figure out that that putting so he can make a have a bigger better season 27 he's had some good
01:20iron
01:21weeks charlie but i'm just kind of sitting here like the cool part about data golf is that i can
01:25uh quickly like scroll between like some of his good years and seeing like what the difference is
01:31between you know the last couple years of just you know the greens and the reds popping and some of
01:36the eyeballing things that i see is that yeah of course you know his iron play this year was was
01:41solid uh and and he's had much better iron years which is crazy to think but like that's how good
01:47of
01:47an iron player he's been in his career i've seen some weeks where he's you know gaining over plus
01:52two in these uh like back in 2021 20 but really what i see is off of the t and
01:59it's not that he's
02:00been poor by any means this year but it's only gaining about somewhere between a half and about
02:07you know 0.75 to 0.8 but when you really look back at his his golden years there he's
02:14well over plus
02:15one um just about every week and when you think about that those are those are the elite you know
02:21drivers the balls the rory's the you know the scotty shefflers where they really have gained
02:26an advantage every single week and i wonder too if that's just him being a little bit older not
02:31having as much pop in the bat um there's there's a lot of factors that you can look at as
02:36at age you
02:36know is there is he getting older is he not quite as strong is is the game and the players
02:42that are
02:42coming up just more athletic and just swing the club faster than him that's something i think
02:47uh that you have to talk about with brooks is that he was he still is a huge dude um
02:53and he still does
02:53move the golf ball but there are other guys that that are are just as long and just as accurate

02:59the driver and so for brooks like he's got to continue to to keep his speed up his iron game

03:06there now he's just got to go put it all together with the short game yeah well with that fair

03:11when you're kind of going back and forth yeah i mean i i agree with i i think you know

03:18on brooks this season obviously it's great to have him back it's you know it's funny as we're
03:22segwaying into a topic about live golf just about what's going to happen a lot of those guys i mean
03:26he's the only player amongst the four who are eligible to do that returning member program
03:31and i'm sure that there was a lot of you know anyone who is not just thinking about golf is
03:37going to
03:38have a little bit of you know play impacted and and if you're already kind of worried about the
03:41psychological element of putting and and trying to kind of switch around and try to figure out a
03:46lot of different things that are working i could see how that would only be exacerbated by you know
03:50everything that was going on his return but he did say in those same set of quotes where he was
03:54critiquing his performance this season how it's a 10 out of 10 in terms of being back on tour and
03:59everyone's been so welcoming and so maybe just to i know didn't feel like so long ago and he's
04:03teen it up at the farmers and every hole it's like oh my gosh what a three iron he just
04:08hit he is so back
