00:12that's i think to date i'd have to check the exact numbers but just looking at bar grass that's his
00:17best putting performance of the entire year in terms of strokes gain without seeing this week's
00:20numbers yet come through on data golf and then the truest rbc canadian open travelers all kind
00:27of northern climates he's putted extremely well those are you know four of his best putting
00:31performances throughout the year so you feel like that portion of it should translate very easily to
00:35beth page black and and the fact that these greens at windham were really very fast this week they're
00:40very um well known on the pga tour for having some of the best greens uh and putting services for how
00:47quick they can get those greens uh the expectation is for the greens at beth page to be very fast
00:52there's not a ton of slope on these screens but they're going to double cut those things double
00:56roll them to get those greens as fast as they possibly can and a player like cam young just
01:02obviously uh had a good week on some quick greens and you have to wonder if that's something he feels
01:07comfortable on so you know in other notables of play like ben griffin finished tie for 11th he's a guy
01:12that kind of dipped a little bit in form but now you know playing good golf as we're heading into the
01:16playoffs and of course that that selection period uh do you want to kind of talk about how you're
01:22drawing up friday pairings and maybe even where the teams stand for you right now because going
01:27you listed the first seven on the points list you ate calm or kawa nine ben griffin 10 keegan
01:32bradley 11 mad mcneely 12 brian harman and then from there you know andrew novak patrick can't lay
01:38sam burns windham clark you know a lot of a lot of you know chris gotter up cam young a lot of names
01:43that people are interested in taking on that list so i have two locks to make the to uh to make the
01:50rider cup and jj spawn and russell henley both of those players are going to be rookies on this
01:55rider cup team and then you look at all right who are the potential rookies that that are a possible
02:00pick ben griffin's a possible pick maverick mcneely andrew novak uh chris gotter up cameron young those
02:07are all players who have not played in the rider cup so you you can't imagine that keegan bradley is
02:12going to uh pick from that entire list you you have to imagine that that he's going to be uh including
02:19some veterans along with a couple a couple rookies to uh to be these picks so uh from that group uh ben
02:27griffin to me is is definitely uh i would say the most uh attractive game game right now especially
02:34for the fact that keegan bradley got paired with ben griffin the first two days keegan bradley misses
02:39a cut uh along with andrew novak who is also in that group who you have to mention too that keegan has
02:44been paired with him at the pga championship as well and both times andrew novak has missed the
02:50cut so in two appearances that andrew's teed up with keegan uh hasn't been able to make the weekend
02:55have to imagine uh that has to mean something in keegan's eyes i think ben going out and having a
03:01really nice week he must have kind of tailed off at the end um a little bit because he was uh inside
03:07the top five it really i think he was t3 at some point today when i when i looked at the board
03:11uh but he was 67 67 69 65 on sunday finishes yeah well i just feel that i feel like ben's game
03:23uh just his uptick in speed is a huge added bonus he makes a lot of birdies i think he's going to be
03:30really uh really good player in the uh in the four ball i could see ben being a great player who can go
03:36out play aggressive and make a bunch of birdies so i really like ben to be on this team at this
03:41current moment and you know it's it's interesting because uh if keegan's on this team which i fully
03:48expect that he should be on this team he's definitely earned his way on this team from my perspective um
03:55i i wonder how he's going to set it up because a lot of times when the rider cup is over um in europe
04:02the strength of the european side typically would be to go uh to put the foursomes off early that would
04:09be a strength of theirs is to play the four ball or uh in the afternoon and so i would expect that
04:15that would be what united states leads off with and i could see that keegan would be playing in the
04:21four ball in the morning if he did if he did play and then go uh coach in the afternoon or captain in
04:27the afternoon uh with with the foursomes going out so i i i just look at everything and try to
04:35try to figure out okay who uh whose has experience uh who is potentially matched up with somebody
04:42um because i think last year the fact that scotty found a partner in russell henley
04:47uh doesn't bode well for sam burns it really it really feels like that's uh not to say that sam
04:53can't make the team but that was something that like currently patrick henley's tied to zander
04:58because of the success they've had together
