ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದ್ದವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತೀವ್ರ ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭಾರತದ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯುವಕರ ಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರು ಕಿರುಕುಳ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂಸೆಯನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.


Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi strongly criticised Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi after meeting people associated with the students' protests.
Rahul Gandhi praised the courage of the young protesters and alleged that they faced harassment and violence. He also accused Amit Shah of being responsible for the alleged violence against the protesters and questioned whether the Home Minister was unaware of the situation or responsible for it.
