ಸಂಸತ್ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯ ವಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು, ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ಇಲಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿ ರೋಷಾವೇಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ ಅವರು ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧ ಎಂದು ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದಾಗ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ತರಾಟೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
