H.C. Balakrishna Criticises Nikhil Kumaraswamy’s Bidadi Padyatra

ಬಿಡದಿ ಗ್ರೇಟರ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಟೌನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಯೋಜನೆ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ನಾಯಕ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪಾದಯಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಸಚಿವ ಹೆಚ್.ಸಿ.ಬಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಲೇವಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದು ಪಾದಯಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲ, ಅದೊಂದು ಜಾಲಿ ಟ್ರಿಪ್. ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ನಾಯಕರು ಬರೀ ಡೌ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ರಾಮನಗರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಕರಲಮಂಗಲ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಬಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಪಾದಯಾತ್ರೆಯ ಗಾಂಭೀರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ ಕಟು ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೀರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಬಡವರ ಹಾಗೂ ರೈತರ ಪರ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ನಿಖಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಪಾದಯಾತ್ರೆ ಮುಗಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದರು? ಬಡ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಜೊತೆ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಮಂಟಪದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ್ತವ್ಯ ಹೂಡಿದಿರಾ? ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವರು ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು.


Karnataka Minister H.C. Balakrishna has strongly criticised the padyatra led by JDS leader Nikhil Kumaraswamy against the Greater Bengaluru Township project in Bidadi.
Balakrishna described the protest as a “jolly trip” rather than a serious padyatra and questioned the JDS leaders’ commitment to the concerns of farmers and the poor.
Speaking to the media in Karalamangala village of Ramanagara taluk, the minister questioned where Nikhil Kumaraswamy stayed after the padyatra and whether he spent the night with ordinary party workers at a community hall.
The remarks have intensified the political debate surrounding the Bidadi Greater Bengaluru Township project and the opposition to it.
