00:03Hello South Australia and Victoria, it's Saturday the 25th of July and this is your
00:08weather update for the week ahead. There is a series of fronts moving through the southeast,
00:13delivering rainfall for most days across both states, but they're likely to be very light
00:20showers. The winds are worst on the Tuesday as well as the rainfall. After that major front
00:27moves through though there'll be a cold pool of air leading to some cooler temperatures towards
00:33the end of the week. So let's have a look at breakdown every day. Okay, this is the rainfall
00:40accumulation for each day. This is Sunday, it's relatively clear, maybe a shower or two.
00:48Monday again nice and showers and then Tuesday most of the system arrives. You can see though
00:54across the states it's only one to two mils so really light falls unless you're on the eastern
01:00side of Melbourne which is five to ten mils which is still light to moderate. Okay, by Wednesday it
01:07settles down a bit but still showers. Thursday showers, Friday very light showers, potentially
01:14nothing that you'll actually receive there zero to one so could dry out. Same for Saturday. So we can
01:21see showers are possible for every day but they're going to be very very low on what they actually
01:26deliver. As you can see though after the so let's look at Wednesday so the fronts move through
01:34this high pressure system replaces it which is likely which is definitely it's going to reduce the
01:41winds but likely going to lead to some fog in the morning. So just to demonstrate that I've pulled up
01:46Seymour which is in that eastern part or northeastern part of Victoria. Just to show you, I'll move my
01:52little face, the rainfall accumulation each day is like less than a mil for the first two days, four
01:58mils on the Tuesday and then again less than a mil but we're getting to some low temperatures in the
02:03morning but it's actually the low temperatures in the maximum of the day so they're not super warm which is
02:10showing us that it'll be quite a cold week. Just to show you the winds, this is the wind gust
02:16potential
02:17for Tuesday which is when we should have the worst of the systems and it's 40 to 63 kilometers per
02:24hour
02:24for the gusts. These orange are 63 to 90 but probably on the lower end of that and again not
02:30a lot of it
02:31reaches into both of the states. So that's it for the week. I would say we're finally getting some more
02:43fronts moving through delivering light showers and some cold temperatures. Have a great week,
02:49stay warm and we'll see you next time.
