00:02Hello South Australia, it's Sunday the 19th of July and this is your weather update for the
00:07week ahead. It's relatively calm and stable in terms of wind and rainfall but some very cold
00:13temperatures arrive at the end of the week bringing frost and fog for wide parts of the
00:19state. So let's delve into that. Okay, Monday is nice and dry, Tuesday nice and dry again,
00:28Wednesday we're getting some light scattered showers along the coast as well as for Thursday.
00:34Friday that high moves through allowing for some radiative cooling at night time which means that
00:39Saturday which still has that high is likely to be quite cold as well as Sunday. Right, still some
00:45showers through the south there as well. Let's have a look now at temperature, this is Saturday morning,
00:51almost the whole state is in zero to five degree temperatures. Friday as well as quite cold,
00:58but nowhere near as wide scale as Saturday there and Sunday, very very chilly Sunday. You can see
01:06here in the west of the state negative five to zero degrees so lots of cold cold air coming in
01:13the
01:13morning so definitely frost and fog on way. Let's have a look at Port Augusta for our city in profile
01:19this week. So lovely clear sunny days which we can see which we expect with that high pressure system
01:25which is also the reason why I'm getting the cool overnight temperatures. So lows of two and three
01:31degrees on Monday and I think the fog starts to arrive on Wednesday, stays into Thursday and Friday.
01:38Saturday that fog risk now goes to frost risk as well as on Sunday frosty as well and then Monday
01:46goes
01:47back to foggy conditions. Not a lot of rainfall on the way but yeah that's it for most of the
01:52state.
