Saayoni Ghosh Urges Opposition to Debate Public Examinations Amendment Bill 2026; Parliament News
ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು (ಅಕ್ರಮ ತಡೆ) ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಸೂದೆ-2026 ಕುರಿತು ಎನ್ಸಿಪಿಐ ಸಂಸದೆ ಸಯೋನಿ ಘೋಷ್ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ,
"ಈ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಯಾವುದೇ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಮೊದಲು ಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಧಾನ್ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷ ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೂ ಈಗಲೂ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.ಇದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಮಸೂದೆ. ದೇಶದ ಯುವಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸುವುದು ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಸಲಹೆಗಳು ಮುಂದಿಡುವಂತಹ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಾದ-ವಿವಾದ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು. ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಇದೇನಾ ಅಂತಾ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
NCPI MP Saayoni Ghosh urged the Opposition to participate in the discussion on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026. She stated that since Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned, Parliament should now focus on debating the Bill and discussing reforms aimed at preventing exam malpractices.
She emphasized that students and young people deserve to have their concerns heard and that healthy debate is essential for a strong democracy. Ghosh also criticized repeated disruptions in Parliament, saying valuable parliamentary time funded by taxpayers should not be wasted.
