00:23I bought my first car from doing all the senior girls for prom and high school.

00:45So I'm kind of a jack of all trades when it comes to hair, but I personally love a transformation.
00:50I'm a wig master.
00:51I have like a whole wig room at home.
00:53So whenever a client wants a big transformation, they usually call on me.
00:57Today, I'm going to transform Sarah into Glinda from Wicked.

01:18And of course, I need to be Glinda.
01:20Specifically, an Ariana Grande Glinda blonde.

01:26I want to do a flattering color on you.

01:48We're going to be using a wig today and then lots of Bellamy hair extensions.
01:52The base wig that we're starting with, I think was about $2,000, $2,200.
01:57And then the extensions, I think we're probably going to use about $400, $500 worth of extensions.
02:04All the hair is 100% human hair.
02:06It's all ethically sourced.
02:07I watched the Refinery29 video about where your hair extensions come from, and I've sent that to everyone I know,
02:13actually.
02:14I've never had a real authentic blonde wig.
02:18I've done, you know, like little cheapo wigs here and there, but nothing like this before.
02:24First things first, I'm going to wrap Sarah's hair.
02:27Basically, we're just going to try to get it as flat as possible to her head.
02:31I'm using extension clips.
02:32I'm using snap clips.
02:35We're just trying to give her, like, almost a bald dome.
02:39Whenever I use a lace front wig, I like to not use a wig cap.
02:43I find that it looks a little bit unnatural underneath the lace.
02:47So I'm going to use her natural part today.
02:49And now I'm going to start to spray a little bit of glue.
02:52Now, it's really important to be patient when you're gluing a wig down.
02:55So I'm just going layer by layer using my hair glue.
02:58And we're going to match that part up directly over where her part is.
03:02I want to see that scalp through the lace, baby.
03:05All right, now that the wig is laid, I'm going to grab my favorite Bellamy hair extensions.
03:09And we're just going to clip these in to customize the wig.
03:13To me, adding extensions to a wig is so much easier and safer than going through and, like, coloring it.
03:18You can really customize any wig.
03:21Now I'm just going to grab my feather razor and use it to blend the extensions into the wig.
03:25Okay, now comes the fun part.
03:27We're going to style it.
03:28I'm just going to grab a one and a quarter inch iron.
03:30And we're curling the hair away from the face.
03:33This is a classic curl.
03:35All right.
03:35This is a fairy tale.
03:36We're going very all one direction.
03:39I'm just grabbing some sexy hair.
03:41This is my favorite hairspray.
03:42We're going to lock this in.
03:44And the final result is Glinda the house down boots.
03:48And I do mean that literally because doesn't a house fall on someone?
03:51And now Sarah is going to be introduced to the new and improved Glindified Sarah.

04:44now because I really like how I look and I love how the hair feels.
