00:07So I'm excited to relive a different era by having long hair
00:11and still be able to return back to my short hair when it's all done.

00:54Today, I'll be seeing Anna to give her a short to long hair transformation
00:57using Hidden Crown clip-in extensions.
01:00I have been working with Anna for the last two years.
01:03If you guys are following her on TikTok,
01:04you've probably seen her Taylor Swift dress recreation.
01:06Recently, last weekend, we actually did a really sleek and clean polished up style
01:11with a side part that was absolutely stunning.
01:14What I love about working with Anna is we have such a close relationship,
01:17and it's such a collaborative effort that we always are coming up with something new and exciting.
01:21So today, we are going to transform Anna's shorter bob.
01:26So many women right now are ready for a change, which is amazing.
01:29It's sweater weather, so all for it.
01:31But sometimes you want to change things back up,
01:33and using clip-in extensions is a great way to have a non-committed change in your hair.
01:38It doesn't matter if your hair is short or long.
01:40Extensions are a great way to change it up.
01:42Hi, Anna. How are you?
01:43So good. So good to see you.
01:45Good to see you, too.
01:46Are you ready to take these short sheet strands and add a little length?
01:49Yeah, I think I could use just like a little, like, luxurious winter wonderland hair.
01:53Let's do it.
01:54I have had hidden crown extensions before for a couple events.
01:58Whenever I need a little extra volume, we'll just clip in a couple,
02:01and it really just adds the definition and the dynamic
02:03and makes me look all voluptuous and luxurious.
02:07My big chop experience was fantastic.
02:09I'm obsessed with my short hair.
02:11I think I'm scaring Bradley now because I keep asking it to go shorter.
02:14So he's holding me back a little bit from going too crazy with scissors.
02:18The long hair will last a day, maybe.
02:21We're going to go out with it.
02:22We're going to tease some people with having long hair again,
02:24maybe a couple photo shoots.
02:25Look good getting my coffee, just the usual.
02:28So the first thing I'm going to do is drape Anna to protect her clothes.
02:33Before putting in the extensions, we do a little bit of back brushing.
02:36I'm going to eliminate the major bulk of her hair by braiding it up
02:41and pinning it to her head.
02:42This is going to make it so that the extensions lay seamlessly
02:45and none of the short bits are going to poke out underneath.
02:49Next, I'm adding the Hidden Crown clip-in extensions.
02:52And the reason why I love clip-in extensions is because it gives you the opportunity to date the hair,
02:58not marry it.
02:59So nothing is permanent.
03:00So the extensions that we're going to use today for Anna are going to be about 18 to 20 inches.
03:06We have a halo option, which has a clear string around the top and is a nice thick weft.
03:13I'm going to use that for extra bulk and density through the bottom.
03:16These are in shade 22.
03:18I custom colored these to match Anna's hair tone and gave them a little bit of a root
03:23so that way everything blends nice and seamlessly.
03:26Next, I'm going to clip in the side pieces.
03:29I like to take a diagonal back parting to make sure that the extensions lay and blend seamlessly.
03:35And for the final step, I'm going to take down the top section of her hair
03:39and blend everything together with my Shula Stantz hairbrush.
03:43Then use our curling iron to customize the look
03:45and I'm going to give her a little bit of flick through the ends
03:48so there's some movement and body.
03:50And this long, luxurious hairstyle will last all day.
03:55So...

04:26They don't even feel like heavy or like too weighted down or anything.

04:33I'm never disappointed.
04:34Every look, every style, and the attention to detail that he has is iconic.
04:39So I'm sure there'll be many more works ahead of us.
04:41I will definitely be doing this look again.
04:43All I can think about is FaceTime calling my mom because she always loved my longer hair.
04:47So I just love playing this trick on her and like giving her a little taste of what I looked
04:51like when I was younger.
