00:24Hello studios, how are you? We continue here in La Guaira, particularly in Mare Abajo.
00:30We continue to join in the works in the buildings that are being now repaired as the project of
00:36Venezuela Renace or Venezuela is born again, rises again. It is the plan to repair the structures,
00:46the buildings that have been affected by the twin earthquakes of June 24th.
00:50We have been leading this and leading a tour around this apartment with the different
00:56testimonies. They have been telling us the people who are living here. Some are inside the apartment
01:03and some are staying in this tents that you see behind me as well. This tents that were provided
01:09by the international aid. We see everything that has been coming in now deployed in the territory
01:14tents that have provided these people of a place to sleep, to stay, to have their essential goods
01:23and supplies while the crews are working on their houses in order for them to be able to come back.
01:31We are talking about buildings that, of course, suffer damages, but not structurally, at least
01:36in terms of damages that compromises the building as a whole. So what we've been seeing as crews that
01:44are working on the walls, mainly works that are the structural element for the entire building.
01:51And they have been showing us their process. Also, the people telling us their experience of waiting for
01:59these days to come. They are thankful that these works began also two weeks ago and they have been
02:06ongoing. So they have been seeing the development and grateful for the rapid response. Hopeful in this
02:15corner of La Guayra that they will be able to come back to their buildings. Also, let's recall that today
02:22it is Children's Day or Youth Day here in Venezuela. So we'll be heading to some other activities close by,
02:30nearby, because there are recreational activities taking place right now in order to provide the
02:35children amidst this tragedy with a place for play, for laughter. That is what today also is all about.
