05:52A reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Romans
05:56Brothers and sisters
05:57The Spirit comes to the aid of our weakness
06:00For we do not know how to pray as we ought
06:03But the Spirit himself intercedes with inexpressible groanings
06:08And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit
06:13Because he intercedes for the holy ones according to God's will
06:18The word of the Lord
06:20Thanks be to God
06:22Thanks be to God
06:50Alleluia
06:54Blessed are you, Father
06:58Lord of heaven and earth
07:03You have revealed to little ones
07:08The mysteries of the kingdom
07:18Alleluia
07:22Alleluia
07:27Alleluia
07:42Alleluia
07:44in my heart. Jesus proposed another parable to the crowd saying, the kingdom of heaven
07:52may be likened to a man who sowed good seed in his field. While everyone was sleeping,
08:01his enemy came and sowed weeds all through the wheat, then went off. When the crops grew and
08:10bore fruit, the weeds appeared as well. So the slaves of the householder came to him
08:16and said, master, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where have the weeds come from?
08:27He answered, an enemy has done this. His slaves said to him, do you want us to go and pull
08:35them up? And he replied, no, if you pull up the weeds, you may uproot the wheat along with
08:44them. Let them grow together until harvest. Then at the harvest time, I will say to the
08:52harvesters, first collect the weeds, tie them in bundles for burning, but gather the wheat
09:00seed into my barn. Then he proposed another parable to them. The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard
09:09seed that a person took and sowed in a field. It is the smallest of all the seeds, yet when
09:19full grown,
09:20it is the largest of plants. It becomes a large bush, and the birds of the sky come and dwell
09:28in its
09:28branches. He spoke to them another parable. The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and
09:38mixed with three measures of flour, wheat flour, until the whole batch was leavened. All these things Jesus
09:51Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables, and he spoke to them only in parables to fulfill what had been
10:00said
10:00through the prophet. I will open my mouth in parables, and I will announce what is laying hidden from the
10:08foundation of the world. Then dismissing the crowds, he went into the house, and his disciples approached him and
10:18said, explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field. Jesus said in reply, he who sows good
10:29seed
10:29is the son of man. The field is the world. The good seed are the children of the kingdom.
10:40The weeds are the children of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest
10:50is at the end
10:51of the age, and the harvesters are angels. Just as weeds are collected and burned up with fire, so will
11:01it be
11:01at the end of the age? The son of man will send his angels, and they will collect out of
11:09his kingdom all who
11:11cause others to sin and all evildoers. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be
11:22wailing and grinding of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their father.
11:33whoever has ears ought to hear the gospel of the Lord.
11:41Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. I believe in one God, the Father and the Almighty, and the Father of
11:48heaven and earth, from all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only God and
11:57the Son of God, the Father and the Father before all ages.
12:00God and the Son of God. God and the Son of God. God and the Son of God. God and
12:06the Son of God made consubstantial with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for
12:12our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became
12:21man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate. He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on
12:29the third day.
12:30God and rose again on the third day in accordance with the scriptures. He ascended into heaven. He ascended into
12:35heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again and judge the living and
12:40the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
12:43Amen. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father
12:50and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, and who has spoken through the
12:57prophets. I believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and
13:06I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
13:12That all of the aged in our community may be sustained by our thoughtfulness, our friendship, our kindness, and our
13:23care for them. Let us pray to the Lord.
13:26Lord, hear our prayer.
13:28That every parishioner at Most Holy Trinity will help make our parish a welcoming parish by inviting someone they don't
13:40know to share a meal with them.
13:42Let us pray to the Lord.
13:45Lord, hear our prayer.
13:46That each parishioner will bring one new person to the OCIA class this coming year.

14:01For our protection from hurricanes and natural disasters.
14:06That our loving God will protect our Gulf Coast and all vulnerable communities from hurricanes and destructive storms.
14:14And keep us safe, and keep us safe, keep safe, those who respond in times of disaster, and bring comfort
14:22and assistance to those who suffer loss.
14:26Let us pray to the Lord.
14:28Lord, hear our prayer.
14:30For all of our deceased relatives and friends, and all of the faithful departed,
14:37that they may be gathered into the eternal joy of their heavenly home.
14:42May they rest in the peace of Christ Jesus.
14:46Let us pray to the Lord.
14:49Lord, hear our prayer.
14:50For all of the intentions in our prayer basket, and the prayer chain, and those who we hold in the
15:00silence of our hearts.
15:06Let us pray to the Lord.
15:08Lord, hear our prayer.
15:10Almighty God, we thank you for today's teaching.
15:13Help us to weed out what's wrong in us, and to produce much fruit through Christ our Lord.

18:48Amen.
18:50Amen.
18:58Amen.
19:11Tonight may we use St. Augustine's way of prayer.
19:15The key word with St. Augustine is transposition.
19:19You imagine Jesus is right here right now at Most Holy Trinity Church.
19:23He knows you better than you know yourself.
19:25He knows all your struggles and crosses.
19:28He invites you to place them on the altar.
19:31Offer them to God through the offering of the Mass.
19:34And then Jesus will come to you in Holy Communion.
19:37And you and Jesus can handle anything.
19:39So transposition.
19:41Give your burdens to Jesus right now.
19:43Place them on the altar.
19:46You're indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
19:49Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray.
19:52By sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall.
19:55So that they may become for us.
19:57The body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
20:00At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion.
20:04He took bread and giving thanks broke it.
20:07And gave it to his disciples saying.
20:09Take this, all of you, and eat of it.
20:13For this is my body, which will be given up for you.
20:24In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice.
20:28And once more, giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples saying.
20:31Take this, all of you, drink from it.
20:34For this is the chalice of my blood.
20:36The blood of the new and eternal covenant.
20:39Which will be poured out for you and for many.
20:42For the forgiveness of sins.
20:45Do this in memory of me.
20:48My Lord and my God.
20:53The mystery of faith.
21:02We proclaim your death, O Lord.
21:08And profess your resurrection.
21:14Until you come again.
21:25We proclaim your death, O Lord.
21:31And profess your resurrection.
21:39Until you come again.
21:47Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
21:50we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation.
21:54Giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
21:58Humbly we pray that partake you of the body and blood of Christ.
22:01We may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
22:04Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world.
22:06And bring her to the fullness of charity.
22:08Together with Leo our Pope, Louis our Bishop, and all your people.
22:13Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection.
22:18And all who have died in your mercy.
22:21Welcome them into the light of your face.
22:23Have mercy on us all, we pray.
22:25That with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God.
22:27With the Blessed Joseph, her spouse.
22:29With the Blessed Apostles.
22:31And all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages.
22:34We may merit to be coerced to eternal life.
22:37And may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
22:42Through him and with him and in him.
22:45O God Almighty Father.
22:46In the unity of the Holy Spirit.
22:48All glory and honour is yours forever and ever.
23:12All glory and honour is yours forever and ever.
23:22Jesus wants to dwell in our hearts so we can produce good fruit.
23:26So let us now pray from the heart with as much volume as you can.
23:29The prayer Jesus gave us.
23:30Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
23:35Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
23:41Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses.
23:46As we forgive those who trespass against us.
23:50And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
23:55Deliver us, Lord, we pray from every evil.
23:57Graciously grant peace in our days.
23:58That by the help of your mercy.
24:00We may be always free from sin and safe from all distress.
24:03As we await the blessed hope.
24:06And the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
24:08For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and ever.
24:12Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
24:15Peace I leave you, my peace I give you.
24:17Look not on our sins from the faith of your church.
24:20And graciously grant her peace and unity.
24:23In accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever.
24:27Amen.
24:28Peace of the Lord be with you always.
24:31And with your spirit.
24:32Now share with one another the peace of our Lord and Saviour.
24:36Peace, Lord.
24:37Peace.
24:52Lamb of God
24:56You take away the sins of the world
25:01Have mercy on us.
25:11Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
25:22Have mercy on us.
25:30Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
25:42Grant us, grant us Him.
25:53Amen.
25:55Behold the Lamb of God.
25:56Behold Him who takes away the sins of the world.
25:59Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
26:02Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter my room.
26:06Lord, let's say the word, my soul shall be healed.
26:10May the body and blood of Christ keep us safe for eternal life.
26:13Amen.
26:16My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
26:21I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul.
26:26Lord, since I cannot now receive you sacramentally.
26:29Come at least spiritually into my heart.
26:32I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
26:37Never permit me to be separated from you.
26:41Amen.
26:45Graciously be present to your people, we pray O Lord,
26:48and lead those you have imbued with heavenly mysteries
26:50to pass from former ways to newness of life through Christ our Lord.
26:55Amen.
26:55Be with you.
26:56Amen.
26:57And the Almighty God bless you.
26:59The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
27:02Amen.
27:03Go in the peace of Christ Jesus.
27:06Remember, go and bring one.
27:11Thanks be to God.
