00:32Today, happy Thursday to everyone out here.
00:36Man, you got me excited for a second.
00:37Hey, what are you doing to us?
00:38I know, man.
00:39I was like, weekend coming on.
00:41Yeah, yeah.
00:42So, real quick, off the top shout out.
00:45Again, I've been talking about this last week.
00:47Shout out to Ed Ingram.
00:48He's doing the back-to-school kid supply giveaway.
00:52Yeah.
00:53He's doing that Saturday.
00:55And I told y'all about how Atomic Wings got into the mix, too.
01:00So, if you got some supplies and you want to donate,
01:04like some physical supplies, or you could hit the link or whatever,
01:09go to Atomic Wings off of 290.
01:11So, if you give away some physical supplies there, drop some off,
01:15you get free five boneless wings.
01:17Oh, heck yeah.
01:17Yeah, yeah.
01:18So, that's a good deal.
01:20And Wednesday.
01:22Wednesday is the last day to do that.
01:24Okay.
01:24Next Wednesday.
01:26Yep, because the actual event.
01:28It's Saturday.
01:29Yep.
01:29The actual event is this Saturday.
01:31Wait, so when does the school supply drop off with the ice cream lady?
01:35I want to say this Wednesday.
01:37I know for Atomic Wings, it ends Wednesday.
01:39Okay.
01:40I actually got to go.
01:41Because I want to go get that churros.
01:42Yeah.
01:43Yeah.
01:43Churros.
01:45Yeah.
01:45And also, real quick, after that school supply giveaway on Saturday,
01:51they are having a fireside chat with Ed Ingram.
01:56Oh, wow.
01:57So, they're doing that in partnership with the Garden Church.
02:00And you say he's going to bring some of his teammates there.
02:04Well, this is great.
02:05So, if you go out Saturday and you want to stick around even more, feel free to.
02:10And I want to say doors open at 1230.
02:12All right.
02:13So, again, salute to Ed Ingram.
02:15Salute to his lovely wife.
02:16Putting all this together.
02:18So, yeah, just want to throw that out there real quick as I continue the mixtape
02:23presented by Sheriff Injury Lawyers on Sports Radio 610.
02:26Man, I want to know if this former school superintendent is lying about something.
02:31So, he is facing felony charges.
02:34And here is WGN News.
02:36Shout out to WGN News up in Chicago.
02:40Legendary station.
02:41That one station used to get on cable.
02:43That's right.
02:44Yeah.
02:44The reason why there's Cubs.
02:46There's fans everywhere.
02:47Yeah.
02:47All the time.
02:48All the time.
02:48So, shout out to them.
02:50But everybody.
02:52Here is WGN News with the story.
02:57And the first thing you're going to hear is the reporter trying to catch up with the former
03:03superintendent outside of court.
03:06Was he checking him?
03:07Yeah.
03:07These are the best.
03:09I love it.
03:09He was walking out.
03:10But that's the first thing you're going to hear.
03:13He ain't going to answer nothing.
03:14But the reporter going to try to do his job.
03:16You grew up in that school district.
03:18Is there anything you want to say?
03:22Bill Tullios had little to say today.
03:24But that wasn't the case more than a year ago.
03:27When we first confronted him with thousands of dollars in questionable charges on the credit
03:32card issued to him by Argo Community High School.
03:35Again, a fraudulent charge.
03:37So somebody got a hold of your credit card.
03:39Somebody got a hold of my card.
03:40Last year, Tullios became noticeably sweaty as we pressed him to explain charges for adult
03:46websites.
03:47Those are actually a subscription to a news source.
03:50Epoch Times.
03:51Whether someone wants to say it was one thing or another thing, this basically came down
03:55to the point where it was an accident.
03:56And instead of trying to hide or cover up, as people are trying to say, I actually came
04:00forward and did the right thing, as a public servant should do.
04:03Because of a mistake, if someone wants 10 pounds of flesh from me, come and ask me to
04:07my face.
04:08So you think this is a personal attack?
04:10I think it's more than that.
04:11I think it's something else.
04:12I think it's totally something else.
04:13What do you think it is?
04:14I can't comment on that right now.
04:16Prosecutors think it's a crime.
04:18The Cook County State's attorney says investigators found more than $4,000 was spent on adult websites,
04:24$5,000 on Visa gift cards, some of which went to pay for more porn, and $4,000 charged
04:31for golf equipment.
04:33Wait, what?
04:33Good Lord.
04:34One of these things is not like the other.
04:36You know what I mean?
04:37Like, I'm not saying that...
04:38Hey, you can only do that so much.
04:39I guess so.
04:40It's my man's right here lying.
04:42He is lying so bad.
04:44He is lying.
04:45Lying, lying.
04:46He copied pleas in all sorts of directions.
04:48First, it was somebody selling my credit card.
04:50Second, it was like, nah, you don't understand.
04:51This is actually for something else.
04:52Yeah.
04:53And you just don't know.
04:54It's bigger than this.
04:55Yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:56But I can't tell you, but it's bigger than this.
04:57They ought to get me.
04:58Who is they?
04:59They.
05:00They ought to get me.
05:01Brother.
05:02You are terrible at lying.
05:04You are so bad at this.
05:05This is my favorite part right here when he was explaining how they out to get him.
05:11Personal attack.
05:11I think it's more than that.
05:12I think it's something else.
05:14I think it's totally something else.
05:15What do you think it is?
05:16I can't comment on that right now.
05:17That's my favorite.
05:18Prosecutors think it's a crime.
05:19That's right.
05:20That last part.
05:21Prosecutors think it's a crime.
05:22Yeah, man.
05:23My favorite part is when he goes, some of which was used for porn.
05:28I honestly do think, as much as like, that's awesome.
05:31Some of which was used for porn.
05:33As much as stories like this are clearly, I would love if they just didn't exist.
05:37We wouldn't have either financial malfeasance or whatever the bad things are.
05:43I feel like the reporter, when they get this story, they're like, oh, yeah, baby.
05:47Oh, we're in.
05:47We're about to go to work.
05:48We're about to do this.
05:49When they discuss stuff like this or either trying to break down rap lyrics, that's the
05:55greatest.
05:56Talking about scamming and boosting.
05:59They're like, I know.
06:01I know.
06:01Let's lean.
06:02I'm going to lean real heavy.
06:03And I love that you can hear when a reporter is like, I nailed the writing.
06:07No, I got this one.
06:08He's like, oh, you think it's a conspiracy?
06:12Well, some people think it's a crime.
06:14Like, oh, I did that one, baby.
06:16This was him a year ago sweating as we tried to interview him.
06:20Honestly, I like thinking about reporters sometimes as your messiest friend.
06:27Who like, let me tell you something.
06:28He said that it was just a mistake and that somebody was out to get him.
06:33But when I was talking to him, he was sweating.
06:35His eyes were darting around.
06:37He looked like he was lying like a cheap rug.
06:39That's all I'm saying.
06:39I'm just letting you know.
06:41Yeah.
06:41Yeah.
06:41So I think this guy's toast in the words of the legendary Judge Judy.
06:47Your story is baloney.
06:49Yeah.
06:50Shout out to Judge Judy.
06:51That story is baloney, man.
06:52Do you know why he's toast?
06:54Why?
06:54Because some of it was used for porn.
06:57All right.
06:57Thank you, John Lopez.
06:59By the way, cut that up.
07:00I might use that for something.
07:01I don't know what I'm going to use it for.
07:02I might just drop it random.
07:03Yeah.
07:04I'm sitting here breaking down a tape.
07:05Please don't do that.
07:06This was used for porn.
07:07Oh, my gosh.
07:09Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
07:10But, goodness.
07:12Why?
07:13The work account.
07:13Why anything like this?
07:14These stories are everyday, man.
07:16I'm always amazed by the people that do it with the work account.
07:19A school district superintendent.
07:22You didn't think nobody would check?
07:23Mike, you have to be somewhat smart to be a superintendent, don't you?
07:26Golf clubs.
07:26Golf clubs.
07:27Golf clubs and porn.
07:28Yeah, yeah.
07:30Stupid, man.
07:31Yes, it is.
07:32Some people are just stupid.
07:33Yep.
07:35It's the mixtape presented by Sheriff Injury Lawyers on Sports Radio 610.
07:40And so I know it's kind of at the lunch.
07:42I think some people might be taking a later lunch.
07:44But if you are eating any type of fruit or vegetables or lettuce, you might want to put it down
07:51real quick.
07:52So here is Inside Edition with information on a parasite that's going around the country.
07:59Thousands of people across America have been stricken by a dangerous parasite.
08:06I eat healthy.
08:07I'm getting diarrhea for seven days straight.
08:09My body was hurting.
08:10I was having headaches.
08:11I was sweating at night.
08:13My stomach had butterflies in it.
08:14And then the next day, like, bam, all day on the toilet, not cutesy at all.
08:19Some Taco Bell restaurants are pulling lettuce and other raw ingredients off their menus as a precaution.
08:25This sign outside of Taco Bell in Detroit says we are currently unable to sell lettuce, cilantro, onion, pico de
08:32gallo, and guacamole.
08:33Any items ordered that normally come with these items will not contain them.
08:38The parasite is called Cyclospora.
08:41So far, 3,000 cases have been reported in 32 states.
08:46Michigan is the worst hit with 1,000 cases and counting.
08:50The symptoms are nasty, to say the least.
08:54Explosive diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, muscle aches, debilitating fatigue.
09:00Mmm.
09:01Man.
09:01Man.
09:02At first, when I heard, because I saw another article pretty much throwing Taco Bell under the bus,
09:08I'm like, man, Taco Bell has been going through this for years, man.
09:10You almost got to go to the bathroom after eating Taco Bell.
09:13Isn't that part of the experience?
09:14Yeah.
09:15I'm like, this ain't nothing new to Taco Bell.
09:18That's right.
09:18Like, what they doing?
09:20That's not a bacteria.
09:21That's called lunch.
09:22Yeah, right.
09:23Okay.
09:25But unfortunately for everybody else, like, this is not just a Taco Bell thing.
09:28No, this is just, this is a food supply thing where, yeah, man, this parasite is out there,
09:34and it gives folks, what do you call it?
09:36Explosive diarrhea.
09:37She sounded too well signed for that.
09:39Explosive diarrhea.
09:39Yeah.
09:39It's like you're on a game show.
09:41Yes.
09:42A new car.
09:44So if you, if you, probably, why can we get ahead of this?
09:48And here's the answer.
09:51I guess it was like a health inspector giving the answer on what to do.
09:54And this kind of take me back to 2020.
09:57Remember 2020 is a whole bunch of PSAs about, make sure you wash your hands.
10:02Oh, yeah.
10:02All of that stuff.
10:03This is what the health inspector said to do to kind of prevent the spread of this nasty parasite.
10:10Food safety expert Beth Torrin showed me how to reduce the risk of becoming ill.
10:16First step, wash your fruit and vegetables.
10:19First thing is to wash your hands.
10:20I take off all my jewelry so that nothing can get stuck.
10:24And then I would let it run over these.
10:27How long?
10:27Probably for about five or six minutes.
10:29Really?
10:30To find out the origin of the parasite, investigators are interviewing those who've become sick to find out what they've
10:37eaten.
10:38But since it can take two weeks for symptoms to show, they may not remember exactly.
10:44Hold on.
10:44It takes up to two weeks?
10:46I guess for you to get the symptoms.
10:48One to two weeks is when you get the symptoms.
10:49That's actually what's made it really difficult to track.
10:53I see, like, Dr. Seema Yasmin used to work for the CDC and, like, doing that kind of that tracking.
10:58And one, I mean, our CDC has gotten less funding to do those things.
11:03Yeah.
11:03So they're already kind of hurt by it.
11:05But then that particular note about this cyclospora is that, yeah, man, it's really tough to track down.
11:10So we might be dealing with this for a little bit as they try and figure out how to kind
11:15of mitigate the effects of it.
11:16So, yeah, man, be careful out here with what you're eating.
11:18Remember, wash your fruit.
11:20And your hands.
11:21And take off your jewelry.
11:23Wash your hands.
11:24And, by the way, it is in Texas.
11:26Oh, it is one.
11:27They show the whole country.
11:30Texas was lit up, too.
11:31But at least it ain't bad as Michigan.
11:34Yeah.
11:34Dang.
11:35I think the confusing thing about whenever Texas is lit up, that could be up in Lubbock.
11:40That could be up in Dallas.
11:41Yeah, you never know.
11:42You never know.
11:43But when it's like Michigan or something like that, it's like, whoa.
11:47And the other thing, they said diarrhea for up to seven days.
11:50Yeah, it's been bad.
11:51Dude, that could kill you.
11:52I've seen people that were talking about, like, they didn't lose weight.
11:56They just lost their mind while dealing with this.
11:58It sounds like it's really bad.
12:00Like, I...
12:02Seven days.
12:03The people that are like, all right, never eat vegetables.
12:05I bet somewhere Al Michaels is like, see?
12:09See?
12:09Yeah.
12:10Told y'all.
12:11Told y'all about these vegetables.
12:12What did it get you?
12:13Diarrhea.
12:14Look at you.
12:14Yeah.
12:14Word to the...
12:15I guess she was an influencer or somebody that was in the earlier video of this.
12:20It's not cutesy.
12:24All right.
12:25Well, an informative edition of the Mixtape here in the Loop on Sports Radio 610 every weekday,
12:30120 p.m.
12:32If you see something Mixtape, hit our guy up on social media at TheFigFig.
12:36Real quick.
12:36Yeah.
12:37Make sure you wash your hands.
12:38Yeah.
12:39Wash your fruit.
12:40All right?
12:41But, I mean, you should be wash your hands just generally.
12:43That's a PSA from us.
12:44Wash your hands more frequently.
12:46But, yeah, apparently lettuce is one of the primary veggies that you need to be...
12:49Some of which was used for porn.
12:51Not the lettuce.
12:52It's not the...
12:53No.
12:53I think we're confusing two of the stories and mixing them up.
12:57I don't think that's how that's supposed to go.
12:59I just want to be clear.
13:00None of the lettuce...
13:01Well, none of the lettuce that I know was used for porn.
13:03Yeah.
13:04All right.
13:05You don't know.
13:05Anyway.
13:06All right, go ahead.
13:06I can't...
13:07I'm furious.
13:07Anyways, coming up next, get ready to hand things off to the fellas on the drive.
13:12Something happened in the world of basketball that I want to ask you.
13:14Do people like when this happens?
13:16Because I feel like they shouldn't.
13:17I'll tell you what I mean.
