00:00All right, Mike's up. All right, I find, hey, uh, let me, hold on. I'm meeting Chase, the bartender at
00:09the pool. Yeah, we heard a lot about him. Oh, let me get to, it's time for the crossover brought
00:14to you by Bay Alarm. Rest easy, we've got you covered, bayalarm.com. Reads are hard. Willard and Dibs in
00:20the house, along with, uh, Chase, Chase, the bartender. Chase. Yeah. All right. Chase, baby, heard a lot about you.
00:28All right, Chase is going to play behind us. Oh, Lord. Chase, who, and our listeners, I mean, if you're
00:35a really tight listener, you'll remember this story from like two or three Fridays ago. Yeah. I brought the lovely
00:41Christy here. We're spending the weekend. Look at you. And, uh, I, uh, I walk up to order a drink
00:46at the, uh, the pool bar here at Silverado. Beautiful pool, getting everything ready for the weekend. And, uh, Chase
00:53takes my order. He looks at me and goes, you look familiar. Oh, and, and.
00:57Look at Will. I'm like, I've been, I've been here before or whatever. And a Christy jumps in and goes,
01:02do you listen to sports radio? Here we go. And, uh, and he goes, wait a minute. And he looks
01:07right at me and goes, Mark, are you Matt Steinbeck?
01:10What? Ruined the whole weekend. Ruined the whole weekend. Ah, Chase, I didn't know. Chase was, I mean, we guilted
01:18him into, uh, into, you know, styling us at the pool because of this just humiliating experience. Um, so anyway,
01:25um, and, uh, yeah.
01:27That is awesome. Now we're thick as thieves. I just come back here every weekend to say hi to Chase
01:31now.
01:31How does that feel? I didn't know, Chase, you know, he likes you. And now I've hired, I've hired him
01:35to hit drives into you later today. Yeah.
01:39Oh, there we go. Thank you, buddy. I like that. How good is Chase?
01:46How did it go out there today, boys? Yeah. Give us a report. It was pretty great. Pretty great. My
01:51partner here, obviously, is still recovering.
01:53And so, uh, he was just comic relief, which he does very well. He also DJed for us, which was
01:59very strong. Oh yeah. Um, but no, the listeners are, uh, the guys we were with, uh, Cody and Nick
02:05were a ton of fun, um, knocked in some really good golf shots. We had a blast. It's a beautiful
02:11course. And you gave a number. It was pretty good number.
02:13I shot an 89, which did that pretty good. It was all right. It was all right. I mean, he
02:18had moments that, uh, would show that he should have been better, but by and large, like, uh, he had
02:25some holes that could have gotten way worse, but didn't. And ultimately, the 89 is probably about what I would
02:31have guessed. I think that my guy, Nick Young, not Swaggy Pete, but, uh, the real Nick Young, he probably
02:38shot an 85.
02:39Oh, so he was doing his thing. He was, he was, he was, yeah. He was hot early. He was
02:43good. And Willard's guy. Oh my God. Like every, he's at the bar right now. Cody's still here. Cody's at
02:49the bar. Does he deserve a drink? Was he that good? I mean, he's already had plenty, but yeah, he
02:53was fine.
02:54Wild early, cowboy hat, mullet, wild beard. Oh boy. And then the back nine, the hat came off and Cody
03:01started bop, bop, bop.
03:02Dude, dialed it in. Oh, so he deserves a drink. He was a sandbagger is what he was. Oh yeah.
03:07It was actually, he's, uh, Nick is,
03:09he's lucky that no one took him up on his offer. We got to the turn. Dibs, his guy, Nick
03:15goes, all right. Yeah. You guys want to make this a little bit more interesting, which is, you know, everybody
03:21knows exactly what that means. And everybody was kind of in the mode of like, not really.
03:26He's like, and so we moved on, but we probably should have because Cody caught fire. Wow. On the back
03:34nine.
03:34He got hot. Yeah, he did. Dibs, did you have, cause we know you're on the men, the IL. Did
03:39you have, was it like when all my friends used to get in trouble and they'd go to the music,
03:43great America. And I couldn't go.
03:44Did you have that feeling watching everybody golf or were you like, I don't know what it is.
03:48No, no, no, no. Complete FOMO. And I love this course. I love this property. And I also love to
03:53play golf. And so I got to the, I think it was the 11th hole.
03:56It's a par three. And I went and grabbed a club. I said, I'm going to hit one. And so
04:00I teed it up and I took the club back and I went to bring the club food.
04:05And it's like, man, no. And my body's like, no, no. And I hit like a 17 hopper into the
04:12pond. And it was like, all right, that's going to be about enough of me.
04:15We were skipping rocks in Yosemite over the weekend and it looked eerily similar. I was like, that was really
04:21good. It was like a five hopper.
04:22Then I go on Google. I'm like, when would I be able to, after that surgery, be able to play?
04:27And they're like, oh no, not now. Not now, dummy.
04:30Not today. Oh, man. Maybe, you know, another couple of months, month and a half, whatever. But it's just, it's
04:35so nice out here.
04:36We actually, we're in the third hole. And, you know, these guys were getting ready to putt.
04:41And I was doing the whole thing about the caddy and, you know, getting the flag. And all of a
04:44sudden we heard, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop, bop.
04:46And Willard thought that it might be an active shooter. One of these gigantic trees, half the tree, cracked off.
04:54No, there's no way. Yes. Did you look around like, yes, I turned around.
04:59And I'm like, what do we got going on? And then it fell. And then I got mad because I
05:03was like, man, if we had been two holes further along, we'd be millionaires.
05:07Because that tree would have fallen on our head. And if we had made it, I think we would have
05:11a pretty good case.
05:13Habis Law. How are we doing?
05:14Thank you. Have you been wrong? Habis Law.
05:16So he immediately launches into his live read. And I'm like, this guy, this guy's amazing.
05:22Have you been injured? I mean, unfortunately, not yet.
05:25It's not one of these, like, silly billboards out here either. It's very serious business.
05:29I love it.
05:30Whatever. You're bitten up.
05:32Whatever.
05:33I should be talking more about Beam Law right now.
05:36No doubt.
05:36Because they, you know, they would have been my live read had that thing come down.
05:40It wasn't windy, though. What happened?
05:42It was just like the tree was done.
05:44Yep.
05:44It was like I'm out.
05:45What is the...
05:47Nothing was happening at all. It was completely calm.
05:49Do you remember Roberto Duran?
05:51Sure.
05:51When he fought, I believe it was in Montreal against Sugar Ray Leonard.
05:54No Moss.
05:54The No Moss fight.
05:55No Moss.
05:56This gigantic branch basically was Roberto Duran.
06:00That's wild.
06:00The branch was like, you know what? No. No Moss.
06:02Deuces.
06:04I'm out.
06:04What is the cart girl situation?
06:07We didn't see one.
06:09Didn't see one.
06:09No.
06:09But, you know, you have the shack out there that you cross twice.
06:13The shack?
06:13Both after, I think, 7 and 13, which has the famous burger dogs.
06:18Okay.
06:18And if you don't get one, you're doing this place wrong.
06:22Well, I'm wondering if...
06:22I don't care if you're hungry or not.
06:247 and 13.
06:24I'm a little worried it could be closed.
06:27Definitely not.
06:28Well, not.
06:28Not at 6.
06:28I wouldn't think on your 6.
06:30Yeah.
06:30Your first run through, you should be fine.
06:32Okay.
06:32What hole?
06:33Because I'm definitely...
06:347 and 13 or 6 and 13.
06:35Yeah, I remember that one.
06:36Yeah, 6.
06:36A little note will come up on your cart and it'll say,
06:38do you want to call for a burger dog?
06:40And your answer's yes.
06:41Got you.
06:41Burger dog.
06:42Burger dog.
06:43Yeah.
06:43It's going to come in the shape of a hot dog, but it's a burger.
06:46Oh, my God.
06:46And then she's going to ask you...
06:47We got a...
06:48Man.
06:48Yeah.
06:48She's going to ask you, what toppings do you want?
06:50You want onions?
06:51You want pickles?
06:52They got a red relish out there, which I really recommend.
06:55The answer is yes to everything.
06:56And my guy, Nick Young, who...
06:58Yes.
06:58I mean, I wanted to put him into a baby Bjorn.
07:00He's adorable.
07:01Okay.
07:02He's like 20.
07:02He's younger than both my sons.
07:04He might be 23.
07:05He says, let me get ketchup on mine.
07:07That's what I'm going to get.
07:08And I said, come here.
07:09He's adorable.
07:10Ketchup only.
07:12Coochie, coochie, coo.
07:13He wants it.
07:14I mean, you...
07:15Food-wise, you are a very peculiar individual.
07:19And I've seen it over time, but when you see a 23-year-old order a burger dog and just
07:24get ketchup...
07:25Wow.
07:25Do you want some animal chicken tenders with that as well?
07:31You want to plop a bib on?
07:33And he's listening right now on his way back to Walnut Creek.
07:35What's up, Nick?
07:36You did great.
07:37At least he didn't go, me, cheese, bud.
07:40That's what you say when you're seven.
07:41That's right.
07:42Yeah.
07:42My son would say, hot dogs and bread.
07:44That was his song.
07:46I have what I think is going to...
07:48Nobody is going to remove your anxiety about today.
07:51I have the...
07:52Because I know everyone's throwing...
07:53No cameras.
07:53Throwing...
07:54No, there's going to be cameras.
07:55Like, our digital team has driven a long way to come out here.
07:59Not only do they have cameras, our team is out there.
08:04We're putting on metaglasses.
08:08I've never worn these before.
08:09Do you even know what this is?
08:10Bronte had me trying my bride.
08:11So, I'm taking shots with glasses on that are recording everything through the glasses.
08:17Wow.
08:18Anyway, made bogey, but whatever.
08:20But I got to...
08:21You have a lot of anxiety, and I think I can cure it with one piece of advice.
08:26Jack Daniels.
08:27Okay, that's a very good piece of advice.
08:30That might be better than my piece of advice.
08:33That might be better.
08:34Here's my advice.
08:36Don't play the first hole.
08:39Don't play the first hole?
08:40I do not want you to play the first hole.
08:45Why would that be, though?
08:46Because that's the one that scares everyone, because it's right over there, and you think
08:51everyone's watching, including us.
08:53We can see you.
08:54The tee is right behind us.
08:56There's people on the putting green.
08:58It's also the first shot for everybody, and there's just this tightening feeling.
09:03I'm saying, skip it.
09:04Just, even us, 8 in the morning, no one's looking, but, like, everyone was kind of like,
09:09you know, because the cameras come out, we're live streaming all of a sudden, everyone's
09:12like, just hit the ball and get the hell out of here.
09:15You start on the second hole.
09:17What do you think?
09:17It's just you, your first one, a couple listeners.
09:21It's not bad.
09:22It's not a bad thought.
09:23I'm telling you, I don't think it's the spirit of the game.
09:27It's true.
09:28It's true.
09:29No, but...
09:29But you've had, like, a lot of stress.
09:32You've had to, so, like, let's relieve the stress.
09:35Just start on two.
09:37Start on two.
09:38You're going to be way over there and no one can see you.
09:40No, tee it high and let it fly.
09:42And if you happen to cook one into somebody's condo and break a window, well, then you go
09:47ahead and you pay for the window.
09:48Hit the ball.
09:50You're here.
09:51You play to win the game.
09:54Will, I'm going to be a game-time decision on that, but you'll be able to tell.
09:57He's not wrong either.
09:58I'm just talking about your anxiety.
10:00And Stani said the spirit of the game, too.
10:02No, you should hit.
10:03But if it would just calm every nerve that you have, then just start on two.
10:08I will say this.
10:09If you are really, really nervous to the point that you're not having fun...
10:14No, it's not.
10:14...or you're not going to, then that's not a bad call by Willard.
10:18No, I'm having fun.
10:19I'm going to have fun.
10:20Go over there and have fun.
10:21And then we'll have fun at your expense by watching.
10:23In answer to your question from earlier when, I mean, I was over there getting ready for
10:28the show, I would rather broadcast first and golf second, as opposed to...
10:32Now that, okay.
10:33Yeah, but I would rather broadcast in the morning.
10:36No, I think the morning show has the play.
10:37And there you go.
10:38However, however, what the morning show did not get was a very unique experience, I thought,
10:45for us last night.
10:46We don't get to do that very often.
10:48No, I got you.
10:49So the four of us...
10:50It's not a month ago at Sam's.
10:52I know.
10:53That's quietly three months ago.
10:54Exactly.
10:55You think it was a month ago.
10:56It tells us how much you enjoyed it.
10:58But, I mean, we got to sit out on the patio with some significant others last night, tip
11:03a couple back.
11:04I love it, man.
11:05And Joe had to, you know, Shasky had to go to bed.
11:07Yeah, of course.
11:09Well, we got the photo before Shasky had to go to bed, so that's good.
11:11But that is good.
11:12But I think the sweet spot is probably where you guys are, although the quick turn tomorrow,
11:18you'll be here till 8, and then, you know, 19th hole and home and up and the wraparound,
11:24whatever.
11:24But we had a great time this morning, and it was mostly, you know, not warm until the
11:29back nine.
11:30And you get done, it's like, oh, that's right.
11:32A show?
11:33Yeah.
11:33Four hours of Frank Vogel?
11:35And we missed the home run derby.
11:37Live.
11:37I got to take it.
11:39Now, why would you laugh?
11:40Because the home run derby is an absolute joke.
11:44I mean, the home run derby.
11:46You'll watch it, though.
11:47I got to take it.
11:48The only reason people watch the home run derby is because there's nothing else going
11:51on.
11:52What other choice do we have?
11:54Two WNBA games.
11:55Okay.
11:56Let's lock in.
11:57That's big.
11:58You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGM, ZFM, and HD1 San Francisco, and Odyssey Sports
12:02Station.
12:03The home of the Warriors and Valkyries, always live on the free Odyssey app, coming to you
12:07live from the Laughing Monk Studios.
12:08Laughing Monk, righteously brewed in San Francisco.
12:12Of course, today we are at the Silverado Resort in Napa.
12:14Yes, sir.
12:15With a match play kitchen and bar.
12:17Dibs and Willard are alongside.
12:19They got done with their round.
12:21Dibs, a little under the weather, but he was out there.
12:25He was out there.
12:26He was out there.
12:28He was out there.
12:28He was out there caddying and giving advice that was ill-received because your boy gave
12:34out a couple of bad reads.
12:35Of course, Willard immediately, like, oh, that putt was a lightning crash.
12:39I mean, I followed it one time.
12:41I followed his advice one time.
12:43I'm on the back of a green, like, this is going to be lightning quick.
12:46And then the ball was halfway there, and it stopped.
12:49And I'm like, that'll be the end of me listening to you.
12:52Then he started doing it to the other people out there, and they kept screwing up their shots
12:56based on his advice.
12:57That's good.
12:58So, anyway, that's good advice if you know not to take it.
13:02Anyway.
13:03Well, I mean, it's good advice if you actually, I don't know, hit the ball.
13:06I mean.
13:07I was just asking this morning, talking about, oh, these greens are so fast.
13:10They're so fast.
13:11They're not that fast.
13:12Really?
13:12Not that fast.
13:13They're not that fast.
13:13Yeah.
13:14Not that fast, man.
13:15Yeah, look at this.
13:16We still, we had a little morning dew.
13:18Yep.
13:18We had a little morning dew that you won't have.
13:20We do.
13:21Oh, man.
13:22Yep.
13:23I'm going to have to, yeah.
13:24Yeah.
13:24Yeah.
13:25Sunscreen day, for sure.
13:26It's a sunscreen day.
13:27It's absolutely a sunscreen day.
13:29It's a beautiful day.
13:30You need to hydrate, too.
13:32It's, uh.
13:32Yep.
13:32You know what that is.
13:33Yeah.
13:34Yes.
13:35Hydration break.
13:36Yeah, that's what it is.
13:36It's a dehydration sensation is what it is.
13:39Dan, two, you got one in the cup.
13:40We're down to final four.
13:41Oh, well, I had a couple of Cal She future bets.
13:45My initial one was Argentina.
13:46They're still in it.
13:47Messy.
13:47And the other one I did with France.
13:49I think it's going to be Argentina and France in the final.
13:52And it's got to be France.
13:54Like, France, they have everything.
13:57Although, Spain, sneaky in the 70s.
14:00They are sneaky.
14:00And I think England's going to beat Argentina.
14:03You think so?
14:03I do.
14:04I do.
14:05England is the Buffalo Bills.
14:07Yeah, but they're buttoned up right now.
14:09And Argentina, Argentina, they're the Kansas City Chiefs from two years ago.
14:14Right.
14:14They're going to get all the calls.
14:15They're going to get, not just the calls, but they're, like, because I actually, I don't
14:19think any fixes in for Argentina, but because they had some beautiful plays down the stretch,
14:24but they're getting outplayed all match long.
14:27And then they do something miraculous at the end and win.
14:30Yeah, three goals in a millisecond.
14:31So is that sustainable now in the final four?
14:33I don't know.
14:33Maybe not, but England, historically, they're chokers.
14:39You choked away the war in 1776.
14:43I don't know if that's actually relevant to the soccer match.
14:45You tried to run it back in 1812.
14:48These guys haven't lost the war, though.
14:50Exactly.
14:51Jude Bellingham, rising star.
14:53I love that guy.
14:54You love him because he has your son's name.
14:56That's part of it, too.
14:57Well, he loves him.
14:58He's his favorite soccer player now.
15:00I can imagine.
15:01He wants a jersey.
15:02England has never been able to get it across the line because it's England.
15:06And their own internal self-hatred, it's real.
15:11Yeah, but wouldn't that have come into play in the quarters?
15:13Like, they're down 1-0 to Norway.
15:15Erling, Holland, woof, woof, woof.
15:17Right.
15:18And you know that.
15:18And they did it.
15:20But they did it because VAR ignores the fact that the ball hit the wire.
15:25That's supposed to be a stopped ball.
15:26Right, but, I mean, those kind of breaks happen in sports.
15:29That has nothing to do with whether or not England then outplayed them the rest of the way.
15:32They did.
15:33They did it.
15:33Barely.
15:34They did it.
15:34They did it.
15:35And you're in the semis.
15:36Good on you, England.
15:36You've been there before.
15:38Now go ahead and swim in the deep end.
15:41Yeah.
15:41You won't.
15:42I think they're ready for this.
15:43Gibbs, what time of day is the final on Sunday?
15:48You and I will be live at the Emeryville Marketplace.
15:51No, I'm sorry, Bay Street.
15:52Bay Street, yeah.
15:53It starts at noon, so, yeah.
15:56It's a noon kick, and I was imagining about an 1140 arrival.
16:02That way we can, you know, do a golf.
16:06That's going to make this Sunday golf round a little issue for me, huh?
16:11What time would you tee off?
16:12You usually tee off at about 730, 839, 830.
16:17That's going to be tough.
16:18Yeah.
16:18I can make it.
16:19I got to tell Aaron no.
16:20Just play 9.
16:21Or we can go ahead and.
16:22I never do that.
16:23Why?
16:23He doesn't play 9.
16:25Why?
16:26That is, it's just unacceptable.
16:29Sacrilegious?
16:29It's like playing basketball without a net.
16:32I just don't.
16:32Oh, my God.
16:33It's just not fun.
16:33What if it's a 9-hole course?
16:35Are those just off the map for you?
16:36Then I'll play it twice.
16:37Oh, really?
16:38Yeah.
16:38Oh.
16:39Yeah.
16:39I didn't know you were like that.
16:40It's just not enough.
16:41It just starts to get going and then you laugh.
16:44Yeah.
16:44I hear you.
16:45Yeah.
16:45And think about your guy Cody today who, he's like, yeah, it usually takes me 9 to warm
16:49up.
16:50No doubt.
16:50More like 12, Cody.
16:51Trust me there.
16:52No, he was coming down 17 being like, I think we need to play again.
16:56Exactly.
16:56Like Stiney and Gould right over there.
16:58You go hook up with them.
16:59Go ahead and lock it.
16:59Play again.
17:00Lock it back in.
17:01But, I mean, I would love to play here and then, you know, you play at 8 and then you
17:05play
17:05the other side, you play the other 18.
17:07Oh, that'd be great.
17:08Yeah.
17:08This is the place you could do that.
17:10Yeah.
17:10You would love it because, you know, the 18s are different, but you get here and the
17:14carts and Silverado and the warmth and the hospitality is like unbelievable, by the way.
17:20The whole thing's been great.
17:21You know, it's got the country club feel without the country club attitude.
17:26I like that motto.
17:27You know what I mean?
17:27Yeah.
17:28You should tell that to somebody in marketing.
17:30It is like it's a resort.
17:31Yeah.
17:32I feel welcomed.
17:33And it is.
17:34There is a private part of this, I believe.
17:37For sure.
17:37It remembers, yes.
17:37But, like, where we're at is this is a public restaurant.
17:41So, yeah, I, yeah, it's, everybody's been very friendly.
17:45A lot of have a nice day.
17:46Yeah, we're not doing, we're not doing snooty out here.
17:49No.
17:49We're not doing snooty.
17:51We're not doing snooty.
17:53No.
17:53No snobbery and, like, even, so I pull up to get my room yesterday and before I even got
18:00out of the car, the guy's already has the door open.
18:02And I'm like, okay, we can go ahead and slow down on the door opening because your boy's
18:06going to limp over and basically crawl up the stairs.
18:09I'm a good 90 seconds away from getting to the door, but I love the enthusiasm.
18:14And so you eventually get there.
18:16Thank you, Connor.
18:16I appreciate it.
18:17Have a nice day, sir.
18:18Have a nice day?
18:19I haven't had a nice day since 93.
18:22Hey, by the way, just complete, complete non sequitur.
18:27But, Dibs, so here's what I don't, these people that are anti-electric car, they just
18:36don't get it.
18:37Don't you get it?
18:38It's a pre, so, okay, Willard, I live in the Bay Area, drove up to Tahoe, drove here,
18:43have a full-on electric car, not one inconvenience.
18:47Drive, left with 100 miles in the tank, stopped off at the Sacramento airport, eight charging
18:53stations, charged, walked across the street to the AMPM, had my sandwich made.
18:58I know where you're at.
18:59I had my sandwich already made, got a soda, sat there, ate, half hour in the sun, relaxed,
19:05boom, back up to 200 miles, get to Truckee, fill up at the Silverado Resort.
19:12They've got, like, boom, they're charging stations all over.
19:15I mean, what you just described, going off to an AM, PM to get a meal, some would call
19:20that an inconvenience.
19:21I packed myself a sandwich.
19:23No, no, no.
19:23To eat outside, like, in Sacramento.
19:26Everybody tweets their own.
19:26Like, if that fits what you're doing and it doesn't bother you and it extends your
19:30drive by 45 minutes and you have no problem with that, that's great.
19:34Yeah.
19:34That's great.
19:35It's perfect.
19:36Yeah.
19:36But some people are like, we're driving to Tahoe.
19:39We're not stopping the car.
19:40Yeah, no doubt.
19:41My brother Mike.
19:42Sometimes you can't make it there on one tank, can you?
19:45Depending.
19:46To Tahoe?
19:47That'd be a pretty small tank if you can't get to Tahoe.
19:49You might not be able to get back.
19:50Yeah.
19:51Okay.
19:51But anyway.
19:52Yeah, I don't know.
19:52I don't know.
19:53I'm not saying I'm anti.
19:54My brother Mike has a rule when you road trip with him that every two hours, you must
19:58stop.
19:59Oh, no.
19:59You must stop.
20:00Oh.
20:01No, trust me.
20:01Two?
20:02Two.
20:03That's too quick.
20:04So you go two hours and he's like, oh, we're going to have to stop and, you know, stretch
20:07the legs and this and that.
20:09And it's like, Mikey, like, can we just, can we do four or five?
20:13See, I'm much more into the mental warfare of the people who want to stop because my daughter
20:19will always be like, we're just driving back from Yosemite on Sunday and she goes, dad,
20:24you know, we're going to have to stop.
20:26And play is, oh, absolutely.
20:29Absolutely.
20:29We'll stop.
20:30And then you let her forget.
20:33And then by the time she tells you again, you're like, oh, but we're almost there.
20:37Right.
20:37Boom.
20:38No stopping.
20:39Four hours.
20:40No stop.
20:41Straight shot.
20:41Yeah.
20:42I'm with that all day.
20:43Yeah.
20:44Yeah.
20:44And I, I mean, I'm with like the even seven or eight hours, like I'll drive until the tank
20:49is, you know, absolutely almost empty.
20:51And then you have to stop.
20:53Like when I drove to Gamble Sands, which is up there in Eastern Washington, it's eight hours
20:58to bend.
20:59And then it's another seven all the way up there.
21:02So you do the eight straight to bend and then you get a room or whatever, and you get
21:05up the next day and you do the seven, boom, one clean piece.
21:09But I'm not an anti-electric car.
21:11I'm actually kind of envious.
21:12It's, yeah, it was a, you know, woke up early Sunday morning at a nine o'clock, 940 T time.
21:20That was too late.
21:21Yeah, boy.
21:22But I went up, got, got, charged the car up at the Starbucks, had Starbucks and a little
21:29croissant and we were on our way.
21:32It's go time.
21:33By the way, Guru, you see how quiet Guru is?
21:35This is what I'm talking about.
21:37You've never been this quiet in your life.
21:39You are absolutely terrified.
21:42I want you to start in the second hole.
21:45It's okay.
21:47Nobody cares.
21:49I got to start from the first.
21:49Nobody cares.
21:50The ball's going to go where it goes.
21:52Now that I get.
21:53The ball's going to go where it goes.
21:54So, Guru, real quick, you always say, did you win the tournament?
21:57Did you win the tournament?
21:58Yeah.
21:58You got some money.
21:59I did not win the tournament.
22:01In fact, during the tournament, I didn't really play great.
22:04But what a weekend it was.
22:06Okay.
22:07All right.
22:07Because even though I didn't play well yesterday, Dibs gave me some great news today that I
22:13want to skin.
22:14Yeah.
22:14I didn't.
22:15I'd forgotten that I got a birdie on 17.
22:17Nobody else had a birdie.
22:18So, on top of your earnings.
22:19A skin is when you're the only one on that hole who does the best.
22:24So, there's a hole at Grays Crossing.
22:26Hello, friends.
22:27Number 17.
22:28It's a par four where you have to drive it and then you have to clear the barrenka.
22:32Oh, man.
22:33And he was able to make birdie and nobody else made birdie.
22:36Even though there are probably 27 golfers better than him in the field, none of them happened
22:43to make birdie on that hole.
22:44So, he did.
22:45He gets the skin.
22:46Sounds like a lot of skin.
22:49It's clean.
22:50Yeah.
22:51Two hundy.
22:51Okay.
22:52A clean two-piece.
22:52Oh, I can use two hundy.
22:53The hundy backing up that Friday money.
22:57Yeah.
22:57So, ship on you tomorrow.
23:00Sure.
23:00Oh, yeah.
23:01Absolutely.
23:01No doubt about it.
23:03Serious.
23:03Putting that in the context of you today, there's going to be a hole where you hit a great shot,
23:09you hit another good shot, you hit a third good shot, and you are going to have a chance
23:13to do something special, and that's golf.
23:16Wow.
23:16Now, the other 17 holes, I don't like your chances.
23:20I got you.
23:22I hear you.
23:22There will be one hole.
23:23I appreciate the honesty.
23:25NCAA tournament, one shining moment.
23:27Yeah.
23:27The ball is tipped.
23:29You're going to have one shining moment today.
23:31Oh, or the Warriors for one night when they beat the Clippers in the play-in.
23:35That's right.
23:35Tonight, we're a championship.
23:37I'm told this just in.
23:38Uh-oh.
23:39Is it breaking?
23:40Well, somewhat.
23:41Uh-oh.
23:42Because I know, again, I've suggested to you start on the second hole, but you don't want
23:46to do that.
23:47Don't do it.
23:47I'm thinking about it.
23:48But don't worry, because nobody cares, except in this particular case, because at 250, we'll
23:56be live on the first hole.
23:57Oh, wow.
23:58With you guys.
23:58Okay.
23:59I've been there before, so I can handle it.
24:01So, I would, if I were all of you listening to 95.7 The Games, make sure that you're on
24:07YouTube at 250.
24:09Wow.
24:10And remember, nobody cares.
24:12All right.
24:12I love it.
24:12There you go.
24:13We'll do it live.
24:14That does change it a little bit.
24:16See, that's all I'm saying.
24:16Even for your boy, Goon.
24:18Tim Jordan on E-Hill.
24:19All right.
24:19Tighten up.
24:20Have a great time out there, boys.
24:21I guess we'll talk to you at 250.
24:22All right, gents.
24:23You say I'm right, you will.
24:24All right, gents.
24:25And 95.7 The Game.
24:28I'm tired of getting pushed around.
24:30You got to go out there and be tough.
