Willard and Dibs join Steiny and Guru on a Tuesday edition of the Crossover. The guys discuss yesterday's event at Silverado Resort in Napa and react to the latest in the Warriors' pursuit of LeBron James.
Transcript
00:00All flat, Parmesan, garlic.
00:02No way, no how is that happening.
00:04And that's what life's about.
00:05Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:10All right, crossovers brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:12Rest easy.
00:13They've got you covered.
00:14Bayalarm.com.
00:16The fellas.
00:16Willard and Dibs in the house.
00:18Yeah.
00:18Yeah.
00:19Jess, what's going on, Willard?
00:20You look like you're chomping at the bit.
00:22And that's C-H-A-M-P-I-N-G.
00:25That's right.
00:25That's right.
00:26Gould just gave me a weird look.
00:27I didn't know.
00:28No, you came in with this trophy.
00:30I'm like, wow.
00:31Oh, that little thing?
00:32Yeah.
00:33And it says, Stiney can't see it, 95.7 The Game, Silverado Resort, tournament champion.
00:38Tournament champion.
00:39Yeah.
00:40They just gave me this.
00:41They just presented this to me outside.
00:43And so I thought I would display it for the people.
00:46So what does it say?
00:47It says.
00:48I just said it.
00:49Yeah.
00:5095.7 The Game, Silverado Resort, tournament champion.
00:54So basically what they're saying is that you are the champion?
00:59So you play better than the Joe's?
01:01I don't know the rules of this, but I was presented with the trophy.
01:05How?
01:06No, no, no, no, no.
01:07I think they went to be a hero.
01:08By whom and for what?
01:09By the boss.
01:10Right.
01:11By the people, by the powers that be.
01:15I heard Shasky figure out who the MVP is.
01:19No doubt about it.
01:19I don't care if Shasky was hitting anything straight.
01:22No, I just reported where he was on fire.
01:24So obviously you were.
01:26I hit some straight too.
01:27I hit some other ones that weren't straight.
01:28That would have changed my approach had I known there was a trophy.
01:32That trophy belongs to Mario.
01:35I had the lowest score.
01:37I did.
01:38I carded a two.
01:39You shot a two.
01:40You shot a two.
01:41Oh, yeah.
01:42Yeah, Jims, I'm listening this morning and I got to ask you real quick, Willard.
01:46Shasky brought this up, but I was in love when I saw it, but I didn't follow up because
01:52I was too nervous.
01:53It ended up laughing in the car.
01:55Stiney's shoe game and fit and Willard, you guys were on point.
01:58Your top yesterday was incredible and Shasky was talking about it and I forgot to ask him.
02:05Even today he was?
02:06Oh, wow.
02:06We were talking about what?
02:08It had just flair.
02:10Where did you get it?
02:11It's a shirt that is from a friend of my ex-wife and what he would do with these garments
02:18is he would take an ordinary shirt and he would completely accessorize it with red,
02:23golden, green and the one love.
02:26And it's a shirt that I've had for maybe 15 years.
02:29Like a little denim.
02:30It felt denim?
02:30A little bit of denim.
02:31But what he does is he would take like red, golden, green stitching and like stitch the
02:36buttons and like stitch here and stitch there.
02:38And it's a shirt that really makes me happy.
02:41And so Shasky comes off the course to join us and he comes in and he's like, oh my God.
02:47He's like so exhausted.
02:48And I look at Tim Jordan, who's been there since 4am and Tim Jordan gives me the look
02:53of like, you know, no words, but a little bit of like, oh yeah, you're tired.
02:58Okay.
02:58And so immediately before Shasky gets on the air, he's like, what's up with the shirt?
03:03I'm like, it's a shirt.
03:06Like it's a shirt that I'd like.
03:08And yeah, what's up with you and your bucket hat and your long sleeves?
03:11I didn't go there.
03:12Listen, I don't ever fit check another human being.
03:16I've seen you almost on the daily now for five years.
03:19It was the most swag you've ever bought.
03:22Period.
03:23Yeah.
03:24Period.
03:25I have nothing but love for it.
03:26But that was the most swag and it was unassuming.
03:30And he acted like it was no big deal.
03:31Like it was a Nike shirt.
03:33I swear to God.
03:34If you had sauntered into the room with a limp, I'd have been like, okay.
03:39I don't remember it at all.
03:41It was the first thing I saw.
03:43There was nothing.
03:44Oh my God.
03:46I saw a skin, some hair.
03:47I said, Tim's is doing it.
03:49Two things about that.
03:50You look like a billionaire.
03:51I appreciate that.
03:52You look like someone who owned a yacht.
03:54I felt like a billion bucks and just a quick look behind the curtain.
03:59And by behind the curtain, I mean the shower curtain, because we thought that we were
04:04going to get a chance to pop back in our room and grab a shower before the show.
04:09So I go to my room and I scan my key and the red light goes on.
04:13And apparently late checkout was like low checkout.
04:16So the three of us, the great Ryan Crawford who put the whole thing together and Mark Willard
04:22and I, we all trudged to the non-member locker room.
04:26And so I walk in there and I'm, we're all hot, whatever, no complaints, hot, muggy, the
04:31whole thing.
04:32And I look over and Crawford's just out of the shower and Willard's like, yeah, take a
04:36number.
04:37And so whatever, we shower and I go into my, my bag that I had brought and I'm like, oh,
04:41I sweat through this.
04:42I sweat through that.
04:43I sweat through this.
04:44And I'm like, the one shirt that I haven't sweat through is the swaggy number.
04:48Swaggy P.
04:49You sweat over them and then you wore them.
04:50And I put it on and I'm like, oh, that's right.
04:53The button that would like contain the gray chest hair, that button's gone.
04:58And I thought, you know what?
04:59Oh my God.
05:01Like blank this.
05:02I'm popping this on.
05:03It's still 91 with a 91% humidity.
05:06I don't give a chuck.
05:08It's a little less swaggy now that I know that the unbuttoned was forced rather than
05:15chosen.
05:16Yeah.
05:17But that's okay.
05:18It worked.
05:19I tried to make Stani remember.
05:20He goes, goo, I just don't.
05:22You were locked in.
05:23Well, like I said, it was unassuming.
05:25So I didn't.
05:26His attitude.
05:28He just walked in like, I'm here.
05:30What's the problem?
05:31And I'm like, this is incredible.
05:33I'm like, Dr.
05:34He just, you know, you know, when people, it's like a, it's like a beautiful
05:38woman who doesn't know it, you know, and it just walk into the room and it just, yeah,
05:43you stopped, you stopped traffic yesterday, but you had no idea that you were going to
05:47do it.
05:47I appreciate that.
05:48I've got, I mean, more gear of that sort of break it out.
05:52Does anybody have a photo of dibs from yesterday?
05:55Now that I can see it.
05:57Oh, I for sure.
05:57Well, no, this was post round.
06:01Oh yeah.
06:02Post round for sure.
06:03Yeah.
06:03So like group photo, I got all kinds of shots during the round, but I don't think
06:07I can see pictures of you in our, uh, our post game show and your post round photo
06:13was awesome.
06:14Uh, the fact that you grabbed the flag and pulled it and then, man, those guys you played
06:18with were tall, man.
06:20Uh, Bob was yet.
06:23Oh yeah.
06:25About the same.
06:26Yeah.
06:27Yeah.
06:27He was a little different though.
06:29He was in, he was hitting missiles.
06:31Yep.
06:32Played at Sonoma state.
06:33Yeah.
06:34I heard you earlier talking about like a D two golfer and what that really means.
06:37And I was asking, right.
06:39And we have a guy who we golf with in our group named Austin Fisher, and he is a plus
06:44six, which means if he goes out and he shoots a 68 on a par 72, that's probably not good
06:50enough for him.
06:50And he is a large gap away from being an actual pro.
06:55And this guy's one amateur events and he's really, really, really good.
07:00And even Mark's kid who I was just about to go.
07:03Plus six is out of control.
07:04Right.
07:05That's incredible.
07:06You still can't be a pro when you're plus six.
07:08My kid's a scratch.
07:09What is, uh, tell me what that means.
07:12What is Rory?
07:13Oh God.
07:14He's probably like a plus 12.
07:17In other words, if he plays like, if he plays with us at Redwood Canyon, he is going
07:22to probably shoot like a 58 or a 59 and be mad about it.
07:26So, so goop plus it's counterintuitive in golf.
07:30If you're a plus handicap, that means actually sort of like under par in that direction.
07:36Um, if, if, uh, Stiney or dibs or I said, we're a 10 or a 15, that's very loosely in
07:43the
07:43other days, a scratch golfer is basically right on the number.
07:46Do you have any regret?
07:48Like he, he, like he went to Olympic club over the weekend and shot 71.
07:52Shot par.
07:53Now, do you personally have any regrets?
07:55Oh yes.
07:55Willard.
07:56What's that?
07:56Tips?
07:57Uh, blues.
07:58Doesn't matter really.
07:59Oh, he said 7,000 yards.
08:02That's far.
08:03Yeah.
08:03Do you have any regret in your life that if you would have kept on golf, where it could
08:07have went?
08:08No.
08:08Cause now I'm getting fascinated that Mario was so damn good.
08:11I'm like, is he at the house?
08:12Like.
08:12It's funny you ask that because lovely Christie and I have all had a little bit of a debate
08:16recently in terms of like, how good could you be if you just, let's say we didn't have
08:20jobs and lives and kids and bills and you could just go every day.
08:25How good could you be?
08:27Obviously the answer is better, but I also believe in people's natural gifts.
08:32And so I don't, I don't think if you gave, put it this way.
08:36I do not believe that if you gave me no job, unlimited time and resources, I do not believe
08:43I would ever be as good as my son.
08:45Wow.
08:45So he's got some action.
08:47Yeah.
08:48I mean, he's not, I don't know, he's not going to be a pro, but he's, but how can you
08:51say that now?
08:52He's a car.
08:52He's going to be, well, yeah, I mean, okay.
08:54I got you.
08:55Fair.
08:55I got you.
08:56Yeah, maybe, maybe, but it's probably harder to make the PGA tour than the NBA.
09:00And there we go.
09:01This is what?
09:02450 NBA players.
09:03I don't know how many guys are.
09:04Well, even if you go like further down and I loved your analogy earlier about like a D3
09:08basketball player who will remain unnamed.
09:11And I think you were talking about yourself, but like, if you get to the lower level tour
09:16on golf, whether it's the, you know, over in Europe or it's here and then there's the
09:20mini tours and all the rest of it to be able to matriculate all the way up and then
09:25make it to the PGA tour and stick, it's very, very, very tough.
09:29Wow.
09:30Super tough.
09:31Yeah.
09:31So Willard, that trophy was really given to you.
09:33It was.
09:34It has been presented to me.
09:36I'm not hating.
09:36I hope I don't sound like I'm hating.
09:37I can't believe I had to shower in the back room.
09:39There's no way to treat a champion.
09:41But yeah, this is coming with me.
09:44I don't understand why.
09:46I don't either.
09:47I don't either.
09:48It's all I know.
09:50I didn't ask for it.
09:51It was handed to me.
09:52And so I'm a champion and you're going to have to deal with it.
09:55You're supposed to delegate somebody who was the champion of the day.
09:58Right, right.
09:58It's not a delegation sensation.
10:00It was presented to me.
10:02That would be a dollar.
10:03So you guys kept score?
10:05I did, but not like.
10:07Well, it sounds like somebody that gave you the trophy did too.
10:09I mean, maybe I'm the only one who kept score and that's why I'm the champion.
10:13Maybe.
10:13But I'm the champion.
10:14That's the way it goes.
10:16Wow.
10:16Them's the greats.
10:17I see you, baby.
10:18Yeah.
10:19You must be really proud.
10:21This thing's coming with me.
10:24You know what?
10:25It's coming to me, Stiney.
10:26Oh, it says Silverado.
10:27Otherwise, you know what?
10:28Just peel that thing off and you'll give it.
10:30Or is that for everybody?
10:32I don't know.
10:34Like, then there would be six of them if it was for everybody.
10:37But it was handed to me.
10:39I think everybody else has been here today and it wasn't handed to them.
10:42I don't know.
10:43That's so lame.
10:45That thing wouldn't even make my man cave had it been given to me.
10:49This is going to be on my front door.
10:51We'll use it as a little knocker.
10:53Was that a flex last night for MLB having the Home Run Derby on Netflix?
10:58Was it a flex?
10:59Netflix.
11:00Was it a flex?
11:01A flex.
11:01Or a flex?
11:03I think that it was a mistake, largely.
11:06But again, this is the old guy.
11:07Why do you think it's a mistake?
11:08Because, for example.
11:10Norm couldn't find it.
11:11Well, and last night we were doing our show and I actually said to Grandy on Talkback,
11:16I'm like, oh my God, is the Home Run Derby today?
11:19And Grandy's like, yeah, it's on Netflix.
11:21And I thought to myself, like, I didn't even know.
11:25I'm with you.
11:26I didn't either, man.
11:27And so if I was at home, would I go to Netflix and, like, pump that up and go ahead
11:31and watch
11:31the Home Run Derby on Netflix?
11:33Maybe, but probably not.
11:35And I know that this is where everything's going and that's fine.
11:38I'm the old guy, but it's on Netflix and you had, what, Will Ferrell on the call and Barry
11:44Bonds at times?
11:46I don't know.
11:46It didn't bother me, but I don't think it was a flex because, like Dib said, this is what
11:53we're doing.
11:53Yeah, this is where we're headed.
11:54Yeah, we're already there.
11:56You know what I mean?
11:57So the Norm's got to get with the program or you miss out.
12:00I think there's levels to this.
12:02If you don't have Prime Video and Netflix.
12:04Well, he's got both.
12:05He just didn't know it was on Netflix.
12:06You're going to be left behind and then there's the middle ones.
12:09There's, like, the Peacock and the Hulu and the Disney Plus, which are two big.
12:14But for football Sundays and, yeah.
12:15Exactly.
12:15You can't hit previous channel.
12:17You've got to log out the app.
12:19That takes the essence of binge watching.
12:22It is nasty work.
12:24There are streaming options now that do put it all on one.
12:28I mean, basically what you're talking about is, like, which HDMI it's on.
12:31All day.
12:32Which one are you talking about?
12:33I've got it all on one now.
12:35So it's just like, whoop.
12:37Like, I can just hold that little microphone and it'll toggle itself.
12:42Snitches get stitches, but I want to say it ain't legal.
12:44No, it's legal.
12:45I pay for it.
12:47Wow.
12:47And it's actually less than what I was paying before.
12:49I need that, like, now.
12:49It's less than what I was paying before.
12:51I'll tell you about it.
12:52All right.
12:52You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ, FM and HD1 San Francisco and Odyssey Sports Station.
12:58Always live on the free Odyssey app and now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
13:03France is gone.
13:06Au revoir.
13:06Stiney, are you over that trophy?
13:08Told you.
13:09They lost.
13:09Yeah.
13:09Another victory lap for Stiney.
13:12What's the victory lap?
13:15Like, you're Canadian.
13:17Canadian, your Canada has been out a long time.
13:20Name one player.
13:21Your Italy didn't even make it.
13:23Listen, somebody said.
13:25I'm just wearing the victory lap.
13:26That's all.
13:27What I said was.
13:27That's all.
13:29I said, Gu, what team do you think looked the best so far in this tournament?
13:33Who's been playing?
13:34And everybody seemed to agree, France.
13:37That was my answer.
13:38France looked the best.
13:39And I said, that all changes once they get to the final four.
13:43That was sad.
13:44It doesn't matter.
13:45But I guess the best team won.
13:46Oh, great teams.
13:47Okay.
13:48No, I think we arrived at the final four to the point where there are no surprises left.
13:54In other words, there's no outcome that would surprise you.
13:57But Dibs explained to me, Spain is like the Ravens defensively,
14:01and that's why France having a goose egg, I never even thought that was feasible.
14:04Spain has given up one goal in the tournament, and they haven't lost in two years.
14:09So, if you want to look, like, their offense is better than the Baltimore Ravens.
14:14Shout out Trent Dilfer.
14:15But they've now won, I think, 34 in a row internationally.
14:19What was last year?
14:21Last year was nothing, but two years ago was the Euros, and they won the Euros, the European
14:26Championship.
14:27How far did they go in the World Cup four years ago?
14:30They went, I think, pretty far, but that win streak involves also qualifying when they
14:36didn't lose.
14:36And then you go back to the European Championship, they didn't lose.
14:39And it's been quite a while now since Spain has lost.
14:43Spain got knocked out in the round of 16 four years ago.
14:46Four years ago?
14:47Yeah.
14:47Argentina is the defending champ.
14:50I don't understand that tone.
14:52No tone.
14:53It felt like the tone.
14:54It's the trophy.
14:56I'm a champion.
14:57What do you want?
14:58Well, I don't understand.
14:59From the bottom of my heart, I don't care.
15:04I swear to God.
15:05You don't care.
15:06No.
15:06I don't believe you.
15:09No tone.
15:10I didn't know there was a trophy out there.
15:12There is no trophy.
15:14There is no championship.
15:16But the answer is in my hand, though.
15:18Right.
15:18I don't mean you're holding a figurine with a plaque on it.
15:25It doesn't mean anything.
15:26It is meaningless.
15:27You've gotten mad at the one that Grandy left sitting on the table for the last time.
15:31He won that one.
15:31And I won this one.
15:33They gave it to me.
15:35I didn't know.
15:36Oh, shoot.
15:36The golf club just fell out.
15:37You know what this sounds like?
15:39Yeah.
15:40You know what this sounds like?
15:41Tell me.
15:41Talk to me.
15:42I didn't think Willard was like this.
15:44It's sad.
15:45It sounds a little like somebody's 18 Club Pro Championships.
15:49Yeah.
15:50Will, I wanted that.
15:51Yeah.
15:51Oh, yeah.
15:52I tell you what.
15:53I'm going to cherish this little guy.
15:55Me and him.
15:56We're going to do great things together.
15:57Like that's bothering me.
15:57See how many people you can try to convince of that that's really important.
16:03Well.
16:03That's the next step.
16:05I bet you one thing.
16:06If I take this home, my son will be like, whoa.
16:10For sure.
16:10And that's the only one that matters.
16:12That's it.
16:13It's true.
16:14The 12-year-old, right?
16:16Maybe both of them.
16:17The 12-year-old, I could probably convince him.
16:19From Stein.
16:20Sure.
16:20We're going to go see it to the end.
16:22Do that.
16:22Oh, boy.
16:23I'll try to do it off the top of my head.
16:24What are you doing?
16:25Joe Lacob.
16:25Mark Stein.
16:26Yeah.
16:26Mark Stein.
16:27On the stack.
16:27The Warriors, comma.
16:31Wait.
16:32It was mostly Joe Lacob?
16:34Mostly Joe Lacob or whatever.
16:36That Joe Lacob is in it till the end.
16:38And it's Joe Lacob.
16:41Like, why would you not be in it till the end?
16:43Oh, so I'll go get a trade for AD and re-up him?
16:47Maybe.
16:47If that's what it takes?
16:48But maybe it doesn't take that and maybe you don't want to do that.
16:52But, like, why would you come out now and say, you know what?
16:55We're out on LeBron James.
16:57We are officially out on LeBron.
16:59Like, you're in it till the end.
17:01Now I hear you.
17:01Exactly.
17:02It means even if LeBron wants to come here, we're not signing him.
17:05They're not going to do that.
17:06Of course they're in it till the end.
17:08I have the quote now.
17:09Oh, you think it will.
17:10Yeah.
17:10The Warriors, comma.
17:13Most of all, owner Joe Lacob, comma.
17:17Appear determined to stay in it till the end.
17:21How do you take that?
17:22Well, I'm with dibs that it's sort of, first of all, it's implied and obvious already.
17:28I don't know what's the other option.
17:30Are you going to hold a press conference?
17:31And are you behind?
17:32Do you know you're behind?
17:33But I get why it's a story, because it feels, when you put Joe Lacob at the front of the
17:39line,
17:39it's going to make fans feel like this is more about business than basketball.
17:45I'm not even saying that's reality, but that's what the quote, I think, is going to,
17:49don't you think it makes people feel it's about relevance rather than winning?
17:55Not that there's not overlap there.
17:56I think they've gotten to the point where it's now the same thing.
17:59Like, they need LeBron to be a better team, and they need LeBron because they, you know,
18:05talked about getting LeBron.
18:08You know, I got to go do this for down the line.
18:11Nahegan comes in today, and he goes, Olden Polonese.
18:14I was like, yeah, what about him, blah, blah, blah.
18:16And I didn't realize, I guess, I don't know if he's a commentator,
18:19he said something like, you know, this whole thing is not, it's like concocted,
18:24like that there's a race for LeBron.
18:26It's like there's no race for LeBron.
18:27I completely agree.
18:28Like, it doesn't, there are teams that are just waiting for him.
18:32They're not going to tell him to hit the pike, like Dib said.
18:35But they're not bending over, please come, please come, please come, please come.
18:40They're like, we'd love you to come.
18:42Now make a decision.
18:44But there's been a proposal.
18:44Your guy Bob Myers did that.
18:45Yeah.
18:46There's been a proposal by other teams.
18:48But that's my point.
18:49Bob Myers said we'd love to have LeBron.
18:51But that's, he's just gravy for them.
18:54Isn't it also concocted from his side, though, too?
18:56I don't believe that LeBron James is taking pitch meetings and sitting there today going,
19:02man, I just, let's make a pro-con list.
19:05I think he knows where he's going.
19:06Of course he knows where he's going.
19:07Well, did you see Chris Finch's comment?
19:10I did.
19:11He said, I, he said they're making, they're making all the teams sound like they genuinely
19:17have a legitimate shot at LeBron.
19:19Something about me.
19:21Something like that.
19:21Yep.
19:23So until he decides, then everybody's just in a holding pattern.
19:27We're, we're, we're efforting on Olden.
19:29Okay.
19:30I, he, he's, he's, yeah, he's a, he's a former Fox partner.
19:34So I, I, I, I talked to one of them today.
19:37I heard it.
19:38I heard it.
19:39But, and I, I'm, I'm excited for you that he remembers who you are.
19:42And Stani just not, he loves, yeah.
19:44When I'm happy, yeah, he's miserable.
19:47But what about this saying being, I'm willing to go try to trade for AD and give him that
19:54extension.
19:55If I get more clarification that Bron would choose us, or am I dreaming that he could be
20:01saying that that to the end means, are you willing to do something you kind of weren't
20:05at the beginning?
20:06I just don't think it's in that order.
20:08You know what I mean?
20:09Again, I believe LeBron already knows where he's playing.
20:13Give you both my arms.
20:13And, and if, I don't know if AD and the Warriors is a conversation, but if it is, I bet
20:19there's
20:20been plenty of conversation already.
20:22So LeBron says it's contingent.
20:23Are you getting AD?
20:25Then the two sides sit here and they're in a negotiating war, which is very possible right
20:29now as we speak.
20:30And it might be why there's a delay.
20:32Could you imagine?
20:33I am out on bringing AD to even get LeBron.
20:37Like if it takes three first round picks or four to get AD to get LeBron, then what are
20:44we doing?
20:45Anthony Davis, he might play seven minutes and oh boy, my neck and my back.
20:51I mean, and Stiney, I thought it was a little heavy handed, but I also laughed as I was listening
20:56about you directing him to basketball reference and walking him through how you can click on
21:02Anthony Davis's games played.
21:03And I'm thinking, yes, Stiney, I'm kind of like right there with you.
21:07And he just doesn't play.
21:09He doesn't play basketball.
21:11So anyway, I'm out on the idea of multiple picks to get AD to get LeBron.
21:17I think most people, I am too.
21:19Most people I talk to are too.
21:21I know, Goo, you're not.
21:22And here's what I would say for you, Goo.
21:24If it were actually happened, everybody's going to join you.
21:27Okay.
21:27And I believe this is one of those things where we're all like, we're out, we're out, we're
21:32out, and then it breaks, and we're like, ooh, just LeBron or LeBron and AD.
21:36Either or both.
21:37Well, there's two.
21:38Because I love this theory.
21:39I'm patting myself on the back.
21:41Yeah, from afar, it looked like we were getting LeBron on the cheap, the mid-level, 15.
21:46But if it is predicated on you got to mortgage those picks and give the, it was expensive.
21:53Right.
21:53As you think, getting the king serves this shit.
21:55So I'm like, man, it's cheap.
21:58But if it's AD attached, it ain't cheap.
22:01And don't forget, it's also an extra year of Draymond Green.
22:07I think that's already done.
22:09Do you really believe that?
22:10I mean, he opted out and thinking that, oh, yeah, you're going to do something.
22:14But even if they don't do anything, I still think that they're going to slop like 42 and
22:19a half million on him for two years.
22:22I think it's funny everyone's worried about the second year for Draymond Green.
22:27I think it's entirely possible there ends up being a third.
22:30I don't see that.
22:31That doesn't even, wow.
22:32Steph Curry, to me, is going to play two or three more years.
22:36I'm with you.
22:36And if he plays three, I don't see why Draymond wouldn't do the same.
22:40I would make a bet with you right now that both these guys will not be on the roster
22:47at the end of 29.
22:48Be careful.
22:4929?
22:5026, 27.
22:51Why?
22:52It would only be 20.
22:53No, it would be 29.
22:54So you've come this far to say we're not going to finish it out.
22:57To get, like, no.
22:58You're going to give Draymond Green.
23:00Right now, he's a free agent.
23:02You're going to give him three more years?
23:04No, I think it would come in the form right now of a two-year deal now.
23:07And then let's get to the end of that year.
23:09And if Steph wants to play one more year, then Draymond will too.
23:13I would have to bet.
23:14And it wouldn't be very expensive.
23:15I would bet that one of them will not play three years here.
23:21Wow.
23:21You might be right.
23:22I'm just saying don't discount it as not possible.
23:26I think it's entirely possible.
23:28Al Horford at 43.
23:31LeBron at 45.
23:32There he goes.
23:33We need an Adonis Hazel.
23:35Kind of, yeah.
23:36Did you peep the Rick Barry all-time warrior list?
23:38I didn't.
23:38And we can get into it because I heard you guys going back and forth.
23:41And I've got 20 seconds.
23:43Don't you dare gesture to the clock.
23:44We actually have as long as we all want.
23:47Wow.
23:48We've had long days.
23:49Oh, you have.
23:50Yeah, not Jim Jordan, the engineer.
23:53I sat in the shade for 12 hours.
23:56Stop it.
23:56I got to Silverado and did a show on Sunday while you were still partying in Truckee.
24:00I was looking at you.
24:01It was on me.
24:02It's going to be in my account, too.
24:03I do think that the Rick Barry, like, all-time top five, it's nuanced.
24:08Talk to me.
24:09Like, you said Kevin Durant has to be on there.
24:12For me, he has to not be on there.
24:14He was only here three years.
24:15So, it really depends on how you want to frame it.
24:18Like, Kevin Durant's an all-time player, but he was here for three years.
24:22How about my Sprewell love?
24:24He was a bad dude as a warrior.
24:25What are you doing?
24:26Post-show analysis right now?
24:28I'm going to go see the post-game show on our show.
24:30On the Willard Trophy.
24:32It's 2-12.
24:33And you were complaining about how tired you were.
24:36I'm going to go get the backdrop on that trophy.
24:38I think that's all the hard.
24:40I should have texted you on Luttrell.
24:43Like, pull the ripcord on that one.
24:45I mean, he's made all-NBA a few, come on, man.
24:48Once.
24:49More than once.
24:51You think you were leaving?
24:52Yeah.
24:53More than once.
24:54All right.
24:54All right.
24:55Good night.
24:56All right.
