00:21while he has played better at defense this season at second base, he's not a prime defender. He doesn't hit
00:27home runs. He's got a bat somewhere at the top of your lineup, but yet he's not going to steal
00:32any bases.
00:34So, yes, he's going to get moved, but is it as simple as saying, oh, they should just get him
00:38on the Yankees? Like, you hear that? Like, no.
00:40Like, he's not an easy fit for a lot of teams, but I have no doubt, Tom, that he'll be
00:46playing in a different uniform in August.
00:48Yeah, he absolutely should be traded away by the Giants, and it's just based on where the Giants are.
00:53They should be trading away multiple players, if we're being honest, but to your point, it has to be the
00:57right fit for a team.
00:59You can't just drop him into any lineup and expect him to, you know, succeed there.
01:03Now, I believe he's obviously one of the best hitters in the league, as we've seen it.
01:07He just doesn't strike out. He gets on base, but what he does defensively needs to work with the team,
01:12because he's played a little bit of first base in his career,
01:14but he's not going to supersede some other first baseman that has true power that a lineup would never, you
01:20know, a team would never take out of the lineup.
01:22So, it has to be a unique fit.
01:24Yeah, credit to Ron Washington. He's made him a good defender again at second.
01:28But to your point, there's going to be teams with better second baseman and first baseman, too.
01:32So, I don't know. It'll be an interesting fit.
