00:00I got a whole bunch of cymbals, no brand loyalty right now.
00:03I end up running a hard line to my ears so that I can always adjust the kick level myself.
00:34Hey, I'm Aaron Hetzko from Enterprise Earth.
00:36We're currently on tour with Hanabye and Necrogoblican here at Chicago House of Blues.
00:41Here are my drums. We got a Mapex Armory kit here.
00:46I believe it is a birch and maple hybrid shell.
00:50We got 10, 12, 16-inch toms, 22-inch kick.
00:56And then this is a band kit, by the way.
00:59This is not my personal kit, so I use this one on the road.
01:04I love it. It sounds great. It's a cool finish. It looks great on stage.
01:08This snare is my personal snare. I brought this one on this tour.
01:11This is a Mapex Black Panther sledgehammer, 14x6.5 brass shell.
01:22And then for heads over here, we're using...
01:24Yeah, we got the Evans G2s on the toms, an Evans HD Dry on the snare,
01:30and then an Emad II kick head down here, a fresh one.
01:35And so I've been using those for a bit.
01:38The band has a deal through Deodario. Evans is under that conglomerate.
01:42And in addition to that, Promark is under Deodario as well.
01:46So I've been using these Promark 5B Rebounds, raw hickory.
01:51As you can tell, they don't break.
01:53I broke one stick this tour, and we're on show 21, I believe.
01:57So I don't know if they made them out of the strongest tree in the forest or something.
02:04So I got a whole bunch of cymbals, no brand loyalty right now.
02:08Over here, we have this Zildjian 18-inch FX China.
02:13Sounds great, super trashy.
02:15Hi-hats, we got these...
02:18The Meinl Classic Customs Metal Series 14-inch hats.
02:23I've had these a while, they sound great.
02:24I've used them on a lot of records and things like that.
02:27Currently, this is kind of a crazy setup, honestly, but no one's really noticed it.
02:31But right now, I'm actually using two 19-inch crashes, Zildjian 8 Custom.
02:36Same size, they...
02:37I bought them at different times, so they actually have a little bit different pitch.
02:41So this one's a little bit deeper, this one's a little bit higher, so it actually kind of works out.
02:45Sounds pretty cool.
02:47No one has, like, been vocal about judging me for it so far, so...
02:51Maybe you could do that in the comments, but...
02:53And then for Splash, I got a Wuhan 10-inch Splash.
02:57This thing is a monster.
02:59I bought it for, like, 20 bucks, and it is not cracked.
03:02This is the second tour it's been on.
03:04Plus, all my practice sessions.
03:06And then this is an aqua vapor stack.
03:10I'm gonna be honest, I found it on Facebook Marketplace.
03:14Picked it up for, like, 20 bucks.
03:16Thought it sounded really cool.
03:18Had been rocking it since.
03:19It's a really cool, like, kind of trash stack that fits really compactly right here.
03:25Right here, this is a Sabian HH hand-hammered Powerbell ride.
03:32I've owned this thing since I was 16.
03:34So, yeah, I've always been a big fan of the Black Dahlia Murder.
03:38Anyone who remembers, like, Defler and Nocturnal Era, Shannon Lucas.
03:45He used one of these rides on both of those records.
03:48And as a teenager, I had to pick one up.
03:50I think I found it on eBay long ago.
03:53It's lived on my kit ever since.
03:56I use it on almost every record I've played on as far as metal goes.
03:59So, it's always gonna be with me.
04:01It's very, like, signature sound, I guess,
04:04because it sounds unique compared to other ones I've heard.
04:08And lastly, we got this Ziljin 19-inch Ultra Hand-Hammered China over here.
04:13This thing sounds awesome.
04:15It's a little less trashy than this guy.
04:17So, it sounds really good for just, you know, riding on it, washing on it.
04:23But still cuts through, still sounds like a China versus the crashes.
04:28So, for the pedals, right now I'm rocking Trick Pro 1Bs Bigfoots.
04:34I just got these not too long ago, actually.
04:36I was rocking the Trick Dominators before this.
04:39Owned them for about a decade and decided, you know,
04:41it's time to upgrade to the real ones.
04:44So, these things are super beefy.
04:46They feel great.
04:48I'm absolutely in love with them.
04:50And in addition to that, I have Foot Blaster Triggers under there.
04:55These actually came with the pedals.
04:58So, I used to use on triggers.
04:59Now, trying the Foot Blasters out.
05:03Triggers are always just a pain, but, you know,
05:06it's just the deal of going back and forth and trying your best to get it to dial in.
05:14So, that's what I'm using there.
05:16Yeah, and lastly, regarding the trigger setup and my in-ear setup over here,
05:21I got a Roland TM-2 running a custom sample.
05:26Just running the lines from the Foot Blasters over here.
05:32I end up running a hard line to my ears so that I can always adjust the kick level myself.
05:39And then I have two lines running from the rack.
05:43Gabe talked about earlier.
05:46And just a hard line to my ears.
05:48I'm not running wireless or anything right now.
05:49And that's kind of the setup.
05:51Just a DI box for the kick out and keep it simple.
05:55And it's worked so far, honestly.
05:58No issues.
05:59So, thanks for checking out the kit.
06:00All the gear and everything.
06:03If we're still out on tour by the time you see this, come check us out.
06:06We'll be on this tour until the 12th of April.
06:09And then we'll also be in China and Japan in the summer.
06:13And then we'll be in Europe with Humanity's Last Breath and Viljarta sometime in the fall.
06:19So, check it out.
06:20See if a date's nearby.
06:22And, you know, see you there.
06:35Bye.
06:44Bye.
06:46Bye.
06:48Bye.
06:49Bye.
06:55Bye.
