00:15It was not the way anyone expected to say goodbye to 75-year-old Tara Bridgmohan.
00:23After living a life dedicated to her family and community, the mother of five, grandmother of seven and great-grandmother
00:31of two was tied up, gagged and choked to death during a home invasion two weeks ago.
00:38On Thursday, it was an emotional funeral service filled with grief, anger and frustration.
00:45As the relatives say, despite the brutal crime, there have been no police patrols in the area, no arrests and
00:53no comfort following her death.
00:55It's really sad to know she has to go this way, but I hope and wish before this day is
01:00over we find these proprietary traitors who destroy the life of this lady.
01:03She has plenty of runs to make because she can do plenty of good things in this life.
01:06The officiating pundit prayed for those responsible to receive the same karma they performed, saying what goes around comes around
01:15and they hope for justice.
01:18Giving the eulogy, a close friend of the family remembered Tara for the way she lived her life.
01:24She looked after all the household needs of cooking, cleaning, washing and still found time to go to the Caneland,
01:36Riceland and Watermelon field.
01:39If I were to sum up Mama in a few words, I would say she was the gentlest, kindest, most
01:46generous, loving and caring individual anyone could come across.
01:50Jyoti bindu, paramatama se, ay mire atama, ab chal kar le minan.
