00:23And that's what Verify TT seeks to do for the job application process,
00:28eliminating aspects like scanning and printing.
00:32What Verify TT does is simple but very powerful.
00:36It allows institutions to issue credentials digitally.
00:40It allows individuals to hold and share those credentials securely.
00:45And it allows anyone, anywhere, to verify them instantly and with confidence.
00:53According to him, the trustworthiness of it is instant.
00:56We are beginning with the education sector.
00:59Degrees from institutions such as the University of Trinidad and Tobago
01:04and the University of the West Indies.
01:07Certificates from national programs like Learn TT
01:11under the purview of the Ministry of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence.
01:18This is just our starting point.
01:20The plan is to have various types of credentials verified through the platform in future
01:26in areas such as licensing, public services and cross-border activities.
01:31Verify TT is the result of collaboration between the Ministry of Public Administration
01:35and Artificial Intelligence and India's Center of Digital Infrastructure
01:41under a government-to-government partnership.
01:43iGov TT says it represents months of work with experts inclusive of Deloitte,
01:49the TNT Cybersecurity Incidents Response Team and local entities
01:54to adopt and adapt global models to meet the needs of TNT.
02:00Minister of Territory Education Professor Prakash Passat notes that
02:03many people are opting for shorter courses instead of a long, continuous degree.
02:08He believes Verify TT can aid in this regard.
02:11Can they have micro-credentials stackable over a period of time?
