00:00My whole thing with the Steam Machine, we got very, very excited about it when it first came out,
00:04because I think we all had the same thought,
00:05which is that it could be another entry point into PC gaming, same way as the Steam Deck was.
00:10It didn't look particularly powerful on paper, but that's okay, providing it's a good value option.
00:14Now we've got the price, I'm not sure it's got that going for it in the way we might have
00:18hoped.
00:19Right, so we're dancing around it a little bit here, but the actual prices are here,
00:22and there are four versions of the Steam Machine in terms of, like, bundling.
00:25So you can get the Steam Machine on its own, 512GB version,
00:28so that's $1,049 USD or £879 sterling.
00:34Or you can get it bundled with the Steam Controller, which puts it up to $1,128 or £938.
00:40Now there's also a 2TB version, which is going to be a lot more expensive thanks to SSD prices.
00:47Get that on its own, it's $1,349, so that's another $300 for the 2TB version, or £1,149.
00:55Now you can get that with the Steam Controller as well,
00:58so that's $1,428 USD or £1,208.
01:03When I first saw this come through, I think it's a measure of just what a problem we're having in
01:08the PC hardware system at the moment,
01:12in that these came through and I was like, oh yeah, that's not too bad.
01:14At this point I was thinking £1,500 dead, and I'd be surprised if it was much above it,
01:19so they have managed to undercut that, but at the same time I'm not sure it makes sense
01:25in terms of what the Steam Machine was originally kind of couched as.
01:29We'd have to find out what's happening now.
01:29We'll have to find out, of course.
01:30And we'll have to find out.
