00:00In a crazy turn of events, 1666 Amsterdam has just been re-revealed at Summer Games Fest and
00:06you know what? I'm actually way more stoked for this game than I thought I was and that's surprising
00:11given how long it's been since the last time we saw anything about it. But if you don't know what
00:15this is and frankly I wouldn't blame you if you didn't, this is a game from Assassin's Creed
00:19co-creator Patrice de Sile. We're looking at a pretty dark third-person adventure with some
00:25blatantly ominous undertones and there's something weirdly enchanting about this trailer that's
00:30basically all the persuasion I need to want to play. The trailer shows off everything we want to see,
00:35you know, antlers covered in beads and jewels and skulls and altars and a lot of people chanting
00:41around a tree that's filled with black cats and there's black cats in the town. Like this trailer
00:45seriously has a thing for black cats but it's all that good witchy stuff. What's more surprising
00:51though is this game will be available this year and there's a 30-minute demo that you can play
00:56right now. I haven't had a chance to play it myself because I'm too busy telling you about it but
01:02according to the announcement of Summer Games Fest this is meant to introduce us to the setting,
01:06some of the characters and basically just what the game is supposed to play like. It's been a long
01:11time coming which means it's got some pretty big boots to fill but going off this trailer alone I'm
01:15pretty hopeful and that's not just because I'm too scared of what might happen to me if I'm not. But
01:20this
01:20is a game to keep an eye on.
