00:00Valve has announced the price of the Steam Machine. The SteamOS PowerCube will start out at $1,049 for the
00:06512GB model.
00:08The 2TB model will start at $1,349 and comes with two extra faceplates in the box.
00:14Both are available with a Steam Controller at a slightly discounted rate of $79 extra.
00:19There's a reservation system in place for the Steam Machine, though unlike the Steam Deck and Steam Controller, this won't
00:23be on a first-come, first-served basis.
00:25It's randomized to deter resellers and bots, as Valve admits launch stock is tight due to storage and memory availability.
00:32Sign up before June 25th for a chance to reserve a unit in that first wave, which Valve expects it
00:36will take most of the year to fulfill.
00:38So is that the price you expected? More importantly, are you still going to try and buy one? Let us
00:42know in the comments.
