00:00First of all, you weren't the only one that was skeptical about it.
00:03Famously now, Todd Howard was, when I first met him on a Zoom call,
00:07he was like, I want you to know that I didn't want you to be Indiana Jones.
00:12I was like, and I'm Troy Baker, very nice to meet you.
00:15It was because they were taking that very seriously.
00:18They considered all approaches.
00:20I was like, how do we do this?
00:21Because everybody that worked on that game was a fan of the character as well,
00:25including me.
00:26So coming into it, nervous doesn't even begin to describe it.
00:30I was flat out scared, which is funny because the biggest roles that I've been able to play in the
00:37past
00:37have always been accompanied with that fear.
00:40Like I was scared to play Joel and almost walked out of the audition.
00:43I originally turned down Joker because I was like, there's no way I can do this.
00:48Joel, Joker, and Jones kind of followed suit with that as well.
