00:00Diablo 4's new season, The Season of Reckoning, recently launched alongside the Lord of Hatred
00:04DLC, but surprisingly it won't feature its own seasonal questline, theme or story like
00:10previous seasons.
00:12This is presumably to let the new Lord of Hatred expansion really breathe.
00:16Speaking of Lord of Hatred, its initial launch hasn't been the smoothest.
00:19Players have reported login issues, queues and bugs, but Blizzard have stated they are
00:24working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
00:27Back to Season of Reckoning, Blizzard explained that you won't be able to hop over to the
00:31seasonal realm for a new season-specific story, theme or gameplay elements this time around.
00:36But Season of Reckoning will introduce major system upgrades such as sweeping skill tree
00:41updates and class changes, increased level cap, difficulty and progression updates, quality
00:46of life improvements and so much more, with the idea being a seamless and epic experience
00:51between the Season of Reckoning and the Lord of Hatred expansion.
00:54Will you be playing the Diablo 4 expansion this week?
