A construction company, Nepturis Sdn Bhd, won a RM141mil government contract in 2022 to build the new Klang Utara district police headquarters, the Kuala Lumpur High Court heard on Thursday (July 9).

Nepturis director and senior procurement executive Aliza Abd Malek, 47, testified that the government agreed to the tender with Nepturis for a 191-week duration.

00:59Aliza said she first worked with Lian at his telecommunications firm in October 2003, before moving to his construction company,

01:11In 2018, she and Rizman took over Nepturis from Lian, each holding a 50% stake.
01:17She said that before securing the contract, Lian asked her to prepare five application letters for the police headquarters project,
01:26for Nepturis and four other companies meant for then-Prime Minister Muhyiddin.
01:32Muhyiddin faces four counts of soliciting 225.3 million ringgit in bribes linked to the Jana Wibawa project, and three
01:41counts of receiving 200 million ringgit in illegal proceeds deposited into Bersatu's accounts.
