04:24It used to be affordable, and now the prices for everything is so jacked up, and it's not proportional to

04:33She was like, oh, my God, I thought that was for, like, extra, like, saving money or something.
04:39She was baffled that I actually have to have two jobs, and I still can barely pay my rent and
04:43afford to live in Cleveland.

04:47And I was like, yeah, it's because of these MAGA Republicans that just, for support policies, that jack up the
04:52prices for everyone and for the working class.
04:54And they do not actually care about the working class.
04:57And it's just so frustrating.
04:58I was just talking with one of my friends here in North Carolina, and we both said the same thing.
05:02We both said we feel like that every single bill we get just keeps getting higher, whether that's groceries, gas,
05:08home insurance.
05:09Like, it all adds up, and we both think it has to do with the MAGA Republicans and lawmakers.
05:13And this is exactly why I'm going to be doing my homework this year before I vote.
05:16Because I want to know, and you should too, where every candidate stands on this affordability crisis in North Carolina
05:21right now.
05:22How they're going to solve it and make everyday life better for all of us.
05:25So this foreign exchange student who I used to go to school with back here in Michigan just reached out
05:31to me and asked me what is going on with the cost of living going up.
05:35And she was like, oh wait, you probably don't have to worry about that because you live in Michigan.
05:39And I was like, oh baby, no.
05:42And she was like, what do you mean?
05:44Michigan is so affordable.
05:46And I was like, girl, I have two jobs and can barely afford groceries.
05:50And when I tell you, she was so horrified that the call just went silent.
05:56Until she asked me, wait, didn't MAGA Republicans promise you guys more affordability?
06:03Yeah, they did.
06:05But instead, I'm working twice as hard for barely anything while they wage war in the Middle East.
