00:00Final Fantasy XVI came out. It was the perfect store. Ben knew everything about
00:06Final Fantasy and he could be utilized as an ambassador for the game in a way
00:11that felt liberating. The studio trusted him to go ahead and do that and in
00:19seeing that happen other studios really saw an opportunity there as well and
00:23then Baldur's Gate 3 came out not long after and suddenly boom the studio is
00:26like amazing. People are really loving connecting with these actors and from
00:31that actors have become a lot more aware of who else is around them and we see
00:37each other a lot more and it's really really nice. It's like a really cool
00:43community feeling and I think for a long long time actors have felt and we feel
00:48like we've been treated like a part of the post-process and sort of like almost
00:51it's a bit of a machine. It's just something you add on at the end and it's
00:53like you're not part of the team you're kind of held at arm's reach and there's
00:56a separation and that started to degrade and this started to be a lot more
01:00merging. The alters I felt like a dev. It became a joke that like essentially I
01:05was part of the dev team. We had like influencers who were the hands-on event
01:08and they were like yeah I thought he was a dev for a bit because he was just
01:11talking over my shoulder about the game and stuff like that you know and
01:15that's how it felt and it's a really cool feeling and from that that feeling of
01:19responsibility and trust that we've been given and this this new role that is
01:23kind of seeming to emerge people are very keen to like reach out to each other
01:27and share that experience.
