00:04spent over four years developing the game, which was released on February 26, 2016.
00:09Barone was inspired to create Stardew by earlier Harvest Moon games,
00:13improving on their shortcomings. Other inspirations include Rune Factory,
00:16Minecraft and Animal Crossing. Stardew Valley is widely credited with
00:20repopularising farming sims and contributing to the growth of cosy games.
00:24As well as continuing to support Stardew Valley, Barone is now hard at work on his
