Willard and Dibs join Steiny and Guru on a Monday edition of the Crossover. The guys react to the Marlins sweeping the Giants, Rafael Devers refusing to leave the field after being pinch ran for, and more.
Transcript
00:00I have a new favorite Giant, and I'm not ashamed to say it.
00:04His name is Raphael Devers.
00:06Big Butt Devers?
00:07Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:12Of course I didn't.
00:15That was just his interpretation.
00:18Hey, it's time for the crossover brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:21Rest easy.
00:22We've got you covered.
00:24Bayalarm.com.
00:25The fellas.
00:25And as you know, the Giants take on the Atlanta Braves at Oracle Park this Saturday, June 27th.
00:32How about this for timing?
00:33First 20,000 fans receive a Rafi Devers bobblehead presented by Chevron.
00:38Buy your tickets at sfgiants.com.
00:41Yeah.
00:42And keep it locked to the crossover today for your two chances to win.
00:45When you hear the cues, that'll be the sounder.
00:48Fifth caller to the contest line, you'll win a couple tickets.
00:51We're going to do it twice, at the beginning and at the end.
00:53It's all courtesy of Chevron.
00:55We'll give away one pair to start, one pair at the end.
00:58For more info, visit 957thegame.com.
01:00Hey, guys.
01:01Is it too late to, like, when you bobble the head, his hand shoes a teammate?
01:06Yep.
01:06Or something like that?
01:07We just did that in the last second.
01:09Is it too late?
01:09Yeah.
01:09I was like, what if you just bobble the hand?
01:12Does it give you the no, no, no, no, no, no?
01:14No, and the head actually bobbles left to right, like the no, no, no.
01:18Okay.
01:18It doesn't bobble up and down.
01:19It doesn't bobble up and down.
01:20Like, oh, yeah.
01:21Pinch run for me.
01:22No, no, no, no.
01:22You don't have a leg to stand on.
01:24Why do you think he reacted that?
01:27Like, I'm still shocked.
01:28I can't stop watching it.
01:30Because Tony Vitello does not have the Aretha.
01:33And that.
01:35R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
01:36Because he knew what he was doing, Mark.
01:37He knew what.
01:38This is all of the things.
01:40It's all of it.
01:41Okay.
01:41It's all of it.
01:42Yes, it's Rafi and it's Tony and it's Buster and it's everything.
01:47It's not Jonah.
01:49No, it's not Jonah.
01:50Poor Jonah.
01:50That was so cute, though.
01:52Looked like a little Sacramento Kings fan over there.
01:55Like, what about the double dutch?
01:56Do I go in?
01:57Do I jump out?
01:58That poor kid comes from double A and he's getting shooed.
02:01Oh, but they already announced me.
02:03I think I have to actually know.
02:05And Tony was like, why wasn't there no steal attempt?
02:06I thought if it was coming from the dugout, they were mind-effed.
02:09And if it was up to the yuster after what he just dealt with.
02:12Right.
02:13Like, I don't think you're paralyzed.
02:15When he said it was foggy.
02:16You can't be mind-effed.
02:18Like, no.
02:19But that's what I mean.
02:22It's all the things.
02:23I actually have been a bobblehead today.
02:26Because every single point that everyone's bringing up, I'm just like, yep, that too.
02:32That too, that too, that too.
02:36So, to me, the Vitello thing is this.
02:40Either you have the ability to stand up to Rafi Devers.
02:45Yes.
02:45I don't even know if that's necessary.
02:47And by the way, I want to keep reminding everybody, we don't know that he didn't.
02:50No doubt.
02:51No doubt.
02:51We get too paralyzed by what we hear in the microphone.
02:55Well, it could have happened, but we didn't see it.
02:56Tony has flipped the spread.
02:58I'll let you know that, by the way.
03:00That has happened.
03:01Didn't work.
03:02But my point is, either you have to have the ability to stand up to Rafi Devers,
03:10and maybe you'd gain some respect of some of the other people in there.
03:14Or, if, as you've been saying, Stiney, if he is not in a position to do this 80 or so
03:21games into his tenure,
03:22then he shouldn't have gotten the job.
03:25Facts.
03:26And when you said it was on Mr. Who, when I talked to you during a commercial.
03:29Right.
03:30I mean, it's on Buster Posey, and it's all on Buster Posey, because when you went out and you traded
03:36for Rafi Devers,
03:37I don't think you did your due diligence about who he was as a guy.
03:41And, sure, he didn't want to play first in Boston.
03:44I want to play third, and now I'm mad, and I'm going to pout, and I'm going to throw a
03:48tantrum, whatever.
03:49But before you trade for that person, you need to find out, like, what kind of a guy is he?
03:54And you were mentioning Jimmy Butler earlier, and I do think that it's a little bit of a similar comp,
04:00but at the same time, Jimmy Butler came in, and you gave him two years.
04:03You didn't give him eight years or seven and a half or whatever Rafi has left.
04:08So, even if you rolled the dice on Jimmy Butler, I do think that he's been a good warrior,
04:12and then he got hurt, and we don't know what's going to happen next.
04:15You tend to think that it's going to be really bad, what he's going to want,
04:19but the Jimmy Butler part of it was a short-term, and this is a long-term deal.
04:262033.
04:28Man.
04:28They were in love, though.
04:29They were in love.
04:30They're so up a creek.
04:32I don't know how you get out of this.
04:33Schmitt's Creek.
04:34And not Dawson's Creek.
04:35No.
04:36The whole, like, trading thing.
04:37He's not tradable.
04:39He's not tradable.
04:40Like, I was like, but eat money.
04:41What GM is like, yeah.
04:44Give me that guy right now.
04:45Give me some of that.
04:47So, who is it going to be if it ever came down to,
04:49if when you say it like that, and I hear you and Stiney,
04:51if one has to go.
04:53Between who?
04:54Devers and Vitello?
04:55Yeah.
04:55By Tony.
04:56Right.
04:57I mean, one makes $3 million a year, and one makes $30?
05:01Yeah, almost.
05:03Right.
05:03$20 and a half.
05:04Right.
05:04But I don't necessarily think Devers and Vitello have a problem.
05:08I agree with that, too.
05:09I think it's more.
05:11Everybody.
05:12Issues, there's, 15 games under is a big part of this, obviously.
05:18But isn't Rafi a big part of that?
05:20Yes, absolutely.
05:22Facts.
05:22You know, it's one of those cycles where the players are frustrated,
05:26they keep losing, they keep pressing, they don't make any headway,
05:31and, you know, the thing that I wonder is, you know, how do the veteran players
05:40really feel about Tony Vitello?
05:42How do they really feel about Tony Vitello?
05:47I don't think great.
05:48Because I'm starting to think that whether Tony Vitello was Tony Vitello
05:53or whether he was Harry Smith or whether he was Jim Jones or Bill Smith,
05:58they might have had a problem with anybody coming from that position,
06:02whether the guy would have done the same things as Vitello
06:06or things totally different than Vitello.
06:08That's what I don't know.
06:09And that's fair.
06:10And I look at the whole year in totality,
06:12and I think about Willie Adamas, like, goofing it up with Mookie Betts
06:16and not knowing how many outs there were.
06:18And, you know, Matt Chapman, catch the blanking ball at Casey Schmidt,
06:22and now you have Rafi Devers who, no, no, no, I'm going to go Mutombo.
06:27Don't pinch run for me.
06:28And the whole pride thing, I don't know if that's on Tony as much as it is to me
06:32on, like, the organization,
06:34but the whole year has been beset by all of these, like, little things.
06:39And one thing no one's talking about is Saturday, they made four errors.
06:43They just showed them.
06:44You could have put on the yakity sack music.
06:46They got covered up by the fact that they hit four people
06:50and walked five others.
06:52Like, I couldn't even keep track of what the hell was going on.
06:55That was a Little League game.
06:56They're completely not buttoned up, and that's where, I mean,
07:00we talk about this in other sports, and baseball is like game, game, game.
07:03And so a lot of times we're like, oh, especially in the weekend,
07:05and we don't really think about it.
07:06But this team is a mess in so many ways.
07:10Like, real quick, I just, I don't know.
07:12Do you all not put this?
07:13This, to me, is a different category.
07:16That's been my theme all day, Mark.
07:19At Casey Schmidt.
07:20None of that is okay.
07:21Kiss the ball.
07:22None of that is being a bleep to your manager and your teammates.
07:26Yep.
07:26Your teammates.
07:28Your teammates.
07:29You put your finger in Jonah Cox's face.
07:33Come on, man.
07:34What are we doing?
07:36That's not okay.
07:37When Errol Campbell on your coach in the dugout, like, how dare you?
07:41Seriously.
07:42Seriously.
07:42You little spoiled brat.
07:44And you ain't hitting the ball worth a damn to where.
07:46The immaturity is off the charts.
07:50It's off the charts.
07:52Whether you think that he's a good player and whether, big deal, small deal,
07:57the immaturity is off the charts.
07:59You do not do this in a major league clubhouse.
08:04You don't show up your manager.
08:05You don't show up your teammates.
08:07This is no, hard no, all across the board.
08:11And he, like, the worst part is he's probably made himself untradeable.
08:15No, I don't know how much money the Giants offered to take.
08:18It wasn't true.
08:19Hi, Giants fans.
08:20There's your cue to call.
08:22Be caller number five to the contest line.
08:24415-523-4652.
08:27You score a pair of tickets to see the Giants take on the Braves at Oracle Park
08:32this Saturday, June 27th.
08:34This is courtesy of Chevron, caller number five right now to 415-523-4652.
08:40You get a pair of tickets to the Giants-Braves on Saturday.
08:45Mark, you just stole my notepad.
08:47That's been my theme to Stani.
08:49This was different.
08:50This was rogue.
08:52And I could almost understand if it was pinch hit.
08:55Then you, the big popper, you react.
08:57But for any analytics out there, that was the right move.
09:01So now I'm thinking, was it Chris Rock in the movie, Why Did I Get Married?
09:04You're mad at something else.
09:06And then, this chicken's too salty.
09:07You know, was Ralphie doing it for all the other veterans that might not be on Vitello?
09:14But Tony hurt me after the end.
09:16He could have smoothly just, at the post-game presser, you know what?
09:20That wasn't giant baseball.
09:22I'll talk to him.
09:23That's not how we conduct ourselves.
09:25But to say he's the fastest or one of them from first to third.
09:29And just the other night, there was Laura Lynch on this.
09:33And for Devers to think he shouldn't come out like he's Ricky Henderson.
09:37I was hoping Webb, not a fight.
09:40Will Clark, I believe.
09:41Dave Winfield would have got, like, dude, you making us look that bad?
09:45Nobody did nothing.
09:47That cuts me.
09:48And I'm just watching it again because everyone's showing it.
09:51Because it's a national story.
09:53So he comes out, and immediately he, I'm resigned to it.
09:57So now I put my helmet over my mouth, and I bark, you know, seven or eight words.
10:01I don't even know what it was.
10:02Gosh, I wanted to run.
10:04Right.
10:04Boy, I really, I mean, I'm a stolen base threat, Tony.
10:08Don't you know that?
10:09I'm a machine.
10:10And then he takes the helmet off his mouth, and he goes, the big deep sigh.
10:14And then he goes in the dugout, and he, you know, one of the coaches is trying to give him
10:17an attaboy.
10:19Tim was trying to tap him up, and he does, like, the wriggle away, and then, like, no other players,
10:24like, even looking at him, like, oh, boy.
10:26I mean, this is, it's a thing.
10:28Drew Gilbert patted him on the shoulder.
10:31On his way by.
10:32Drew caught him.
10:33Drew was like, see that.
10:34He was scared, and then he, all right.
10:37Drew's like, can I bite your jersey right now, Rob?
10:40Can I public thrust you?
10:42It's a national story.
10:43It's what we do.
10:43On top of the pride, miscommunication, those are bad optics to me.
10:47If you're a parent, you know the Rafi avoids Jace Tingler thing because it happens in every Little League game,
10:55or it happens when you force them to eat their vegetables or whatever, and you try to console, and they,
11:01ah, don't touch me.
11:03But those people are eight years old.
11:06Or three.
11:07Or three.
11:08They'll get you.
11:08Yep.
11:09Or three.
11:10You're 29 years old.
11:13They're paying you $28.5 million.
11:15You're a superstar.
11:16In order to do these things.
11:20And it doesn't even, by the way, it doesn't even matter if it was the right move, which of course
11:24it was.
11:24Okay, hello.
11:25But it doesn't even matter if it was.
11:28Like, let's say that's the wrong move and you don't agree with it.
11:32Pitchers don't like it when they get taken out of the game, but you got taken out of the game.
11:37Like, nobody likes getting taken out of the game.
11:39But why do we even have a manager?
11:41What, are we just going to start?
11:43And they're banned.
11:44Are we going to call our own fouls, too?
11:45Man.
11:46Man, oh, man.
11:47We don't need coaches and refs, then.
11:49You're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM and HD1 San Francisco and Odyssey Sports Station,
11:54always live on the free Odyssey app.
11:56Now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios in the next 12 minutes,
12:00you'll have another chance to win a pair of Giants tickets when you hear the sounder.
12:05You'll be calling number five.
12:06So next 10, 12 minutes, we'll get another pair out there for somebody to win.
12:10Love it.
12:11I can't.
12:11I can't if I'm in the marketing department today.
12:13Is there some irony?
12:14Yeah.
12:14I cannot believe the marketing department called a meeting for sure this morning.
12:19And changed it to me.
12:20We got bobbleheads.
12:24That's the lead for this homestand.
12:26Here come the A's, the Braves, and Rafi bobbleheads.
12:31And this guy's out here waving his finger at everybody.
12:34Do you have a problem if I told the listeners and Stoddy,
12:37I don't know what message he was sending, but he knew what he was doing in the fallout.
12:41What if that was his get rid of me moment?
12:44Could that have been going through his head to do?
12:47Maybe.
12:47To throw a hit.
12:49How?
12:49How did he get rid of him?
12:50But maybe in his mind he was like, just try.
12:53Like, you've got to know this wasn't cool.
12:55Then you just made it worse.
12:56Well, that part.
12:58You just made it harder.
12:59You made it impossible.
13:00I think it's more just the emotions of what's gone on.
13:03And I think that it's more than just, you know, Rafi Devers.
13:07I do think that some of the vets, and I don't know this, I'm not sourcing it or whatever,
13:12but it feels like there is a certain amount of frustration over, you know, how the year
13:17has gone.
13:17And you have a rookie manager and, you know, things are a little bit different than what
13:22you would think.
13:23And I would add this piece to it where Rafi Devers left Boston in a certain way where,
13:29you know, it was a little bit of like, I don't want to, I'm going to play third.
13:33I don't want to play first.
13:34And so his arms were folded and I'm not going to do that.
13:38And then he left and, oh, now I'm playing first.
13:40And now you're getting pinch run for.
13:42And it's like, huh, and the arms are folded again.
13:44The immaturity factor, I do think is a big part of it.
13:48It's a disastrous trade.
13:51Right.
13:53Absolutely disastrous.
13:54Look at the record.
13:55And I love the fact that Boston won the trade and then they immediately lost the trade.
14:00They made it even worse.
14:01But at least they don't have, whatever, their mistake is not on the books for eight more
14:06years.
14:08So, and I can't believe I'm saying this because, or asking this even, because this is not usually
14:14the way I look at things, but they were 41 and 30 when he got here.
14:19And it has just been so comprehensive, the backslide.
14:25Now I do wonder, did he change some kind of dynamic?
14:30It can't be.
14:32It can't be.
14:33He's a bad guy.
14:34We brought him into this clubhouse and it all fell apart.
14:37I'll share a story with you.
14:38Sure.
14:40So, about a week to 10 days after the trade happened, I'm at like a, whatever, dinner
14:48party with someone who works for the Giants.
14:51And I'm not.
14:51No, no, no.
14:52Thank you, girl.
14:53It's really not.
14:55It's not.
14:55This is not an exec.
14:57This is not a coach.
14:58This is not a player.
14:59It's a bull.
14:59This is somebody who is employed by the Giants and therefore is over at the stadium for a
15:05job.
15:06It's a bull.
15:06Okay.
15:07That's fine.
15:07Yeah.
15:08This person, and this is when the Giants have a winning record and-
15:13Oh, before the trade.
15:14No, no, no.
15:14The trade has just happened.
15:16Okay.
15:16So, the Giants have a winning record.
15:18Remember?
15:1941 and 30 and then whatever.
15:20This is like a week later.
15:22A week later and we are all excited that Rafi Devers has come to town.
15:27No, I was.
15:28This person, we're eating charcuterie.
15:31And this person looks at me and goes, I do not like it at all.
15:37And I go, really?
15:40Why?
15:40Everybody loves this.
15:42And this person goes, this team was vibing.
15:47That clubhouse was vibing.
15:51That clubhouse loves Dom Smith.
15:53Dom Smith is a vacuum at first base, a solid hitter.
15:59I know that there was no name value, but this team was vibing.
16:04And now, here comes Rafael Devers and I'm concerned.
16:09Do you want to know what my stupid response was?
16:12I go, wait a minute.
16:13The whole team showed up for that introductory press conference.
16:18Ah, that's right.
16:19Person gave me a look like.
16:21Wow.
16:23You know what that look means, Darnie.
16:25Why do you think that happened?
16:27Ah.
16:28Wow.
16:29Has the entire team showed up for a press conference before?
16:32Or since?
16:33Man.
16:34So, what?
16:36That he's high maintenance?
16:37No, that they were forced to show up.
16:39I think that they were given a nice encouragement to come support their new teammate.
16:44What I should have did for little Daryl's party.
16:47Forced the phone show up.
16:49That was a one.
16:51Might be a zero.
16:51Might be a zero.
16:52Yeah.
16:52I just.
16:53Yeah.
16:54And, um.
16:55Oh, man.
16:57One person's perspective.
16:59But, boy.
17:0115 under before.
17:02That played out.
17:03That played out.
17:0415 under.
17:07I think they've been 15 under before this year, though.
17:10Yeah, they have.
17:11So, they've only matched their season high.
17:13And you came into that series at winners of three in a row.
17:15And I was thinking.
17:17Get frisky.
17:18And I know the Marlins.
17:19Marlins are playing great.
17:20But, I mean, you go out there and.
17:22Are they?
17:23They were.
17:23I mean, that's what you said.
17:25I have no idea either.
17:25No, they're hot in the month of June.
17:28I mean, the whole thing about the series, to me, is a microcosm of the year.
17:32Where, Saturday, you kicked the ball all over the yard.
17:35It was four errors in four innings.
17:37That was bad.
17:37And, like Mark said, you had 12 guys reach base for free.
17:42Either with walks or errors or HBPs.
17:45And then you get your ace.
17:46Okay.
17:46We're going to go ahead and salvage one.
17:48And Logan shoves.
17:49And he goes the distance.
17:51This man.
17:51And, I mean, you're right there.
17:53And then Rafi Devers, like, kind of steals the headlines with his finger wag and the rest of it.
17:58So, you get swept.
17:59You're sloppy.
18:00And Devers now is a national story.
18:03And you limp home and you're 15 below.
18:05What about the non-stolen base attempt?
18:07So, you went through all that and didn't even try to swipe a bag?
18:11I said, I thought they were mine.
18:13You know what?
18:13If it was up to Cox or the.
18:15Like, they couldn't believe that just happened.
18:17And it was a fog.
18:18But nobody attempted a steal.
18:22All right, Giants fans, there's your second cue.
18:25Be caller number five to the contest line at 415-523-4652.
18:30And you score a pair of tickets to see the Giants take on the Braves at Oracle this Saturday, June
18:3527th.
18:36This is courtesy of Chevron.
18:38Once again, caller number five right now.
18:40But it's got to be to the contest line.
18:42415-523-4652.
18:45Caller five.
18:46You get a pair of tickets to Saturday's game against the Braves.
18:49How fun is the Giants timing that Trevor McDonald in the month of June has had four starts, given up
18:5913 runs in 16 innings, coming off of a start where he lasted only three innings, gave up five runs,
19:06hit four batters, walked three, has run his ERA all the way up to five.
19:12And they announced the next day, you stay in the starting rotation.
19:17Nice.
19:18We're going to move somebody else to the bullpen so that we can bring Tyler Malley, who also can't pitch,
19:24back into the starting rotation.
19:27Yeah.
19:28Who Buster brought in.
19:29Oh, my gosh.
19:30Buster brought in.
19:31This is a mess.
19:35So, you don't have a problem with me, with Tony.
19:38That didn't, like, he had his back.
19:39We talk all the time.
19:40Well, the question was, he doesn't do this all the time.
19:43Are you going to talk now?
19:44I just wish Tony would have handled that different.
19:47And to Stani's point earlier in the show, well, he doesn't have that cachet.
19:51When do you get it?
19:52We're almost at the break.
19:53That needed to be on exhibit yesterday after the game.
19:57You didn't have to crush him.
19:59We'll talk.
19:59That wasn't giant base.
20:01Am I wrong real quick here when you look at me?
20:03Are there some managers that would have met Devers at the step and they pulled that move?
20:07Maybe.
20:07I believe met him at the step.
20:09They would have had a convo and maybe would have been over right then and there.
20:12But, man.
20:13Feels like you don't see that anymore where you meet him at the step.
20:17Everybody's so aware of the cameras.
20:19And so, again, I don't know what happened behind closed doors.
20:22But the whole experience doesn't happen in the first place if Tony has the respect of the clubhouse.
20:31But we were having an interesting conversation out here.
20:34What do you guys think about this?
20:35So when I say that, most people will go, okay, then Buster, then you can't hire him.
20:39This isn't on Tony because he doesn't have the cachet to do it.
20:43But isn't some of it on you if you took the gig?
20:48Hello.
20:49And you know what the gig calls for.
20:51And you're grown.
20:52The gig calls for.
20:54Cajonas.
20:54Well, it calls for managing veteran players.
20:57This was part of the LinkedIn job description.
21:01Rafi Devers, Matt Chapman, and Willie Domis are on your team.
21:04Can you handle it?
21:06And he said yes.
21:07Well, then you have to be able to handle it.
21:09And I feel like we could play the IU, be a little cat.
21:11Like, you got to, that was you.
21:13Somebody needed to check him yesterday, Tim.
21:15And I'm mad he got away with it.
21:17I do think that.
21:18I'm being a little cat.
21:19From the beginning, it's pretty clear to me from the outside that he's not, never had that command.
21:25To where he's earned that.
21:26And, you know, from the get-go, he didn't have that.
21:29And so things have gone south.
21:31And when you don't do that for Willie Adamas, when he's like, hey, Mookie, how you doing?
21:36I have a cat named Mookie.
21:37How many outs are there?
21:38Oh, I don't know.
21:39And all the rest of it.
21:40I'm being a little cat.
21:41I do think that, little-ass boy, I do think that things have gone sideways from the start.
21:47And so now, are you going to go ahead and, like, assert it?
21:50But Mark and I were talking earlier about the Zach Littell situation.
21:54When Zach Littell put the ball in Gabe Kapler's hand and Kapler followed him into the tunnel.
21:59Like, I like that.
22:00Well, he got DFA the next day, but that's not a $300 million guy.
22:04Wow.
22:05And he also took that into the back.
22:07He didn't do it in the dugout.
22:08But it's also Kapler had been a manager, and Kapler was a big leaguer, and so he had a little
22:13bit more gravitas than Tony D.
22:16I mean, Buster Posey, to me, I don't know if he's getting a pass, but I feel like that this
22:21all is on Buster Posey.
22:23Like, you brought in Devers, and you didn't totally vet him.
22:26You paid Adamas, and that was an overpay.
22:28You brought in a skipper who, clearly to me, is over his skis.
22:34He's not ready.
22:35For me, this is all a Buster Posey problem.
22:38Go ahead.
22:39Real quick, it's like, and now what do you do?
22:42You really going to bench Devers tomorrow?
22:44I told him he wouldn't be in the lineup.
22:46They won't.
22:47They won't.
22:47But, and I don't even know that you, like, what does that do?
22:53You know what I mean?
22:54No, I'm with you.
22:55I'm with you, and I, like, I also think there's a danger that if some of the veterans think players
23:01have been getting away with stuff,
23:02and he picks Devers to be the one guy to start a process of accountability, that's, you better be careful
23:11with that, too.
23:11You know what I mean?
23:12Like, I get it, they're different, but if Vitello was going to think about taking Adamas out for losing track
23:19of the outs,
23:20and he would have done that, let's say, well, then you'd expect he's going to do it to Devers here.
23:25But that's different than telling your manager, shut up, manager, shut up.
23:29He never said shut up.
23:30No, I'm saying with that waiver, what he pulled was that to me.
23:33It was worse than that, and I can use some bad words.
23:36Right.
23:37That was just, hey, I had a bone, I lost a moment, you know, all the other stuff.
23:41I can't help but think, like, are the Giants a serious organization?
23:46Because it doesn't feel like they're serious at all, and whether or not it's from, you know, ownership down,
23:52but you've got Buster who's doing these things that are not going well, Zach Manazian, and Tony Vitello,
23:58and now you have these high-priced veterans, like, are you even a serious organization?
24:02Whole staff is inexperienced, and unfortunately, the lessons that they're learning are incredibly expensive.
24:09I did see a cool segment on MLB Network, though, yesterday about how all the Brewers needed to do was
24:15raise Kyle Harrison's arm slot just a little bit.
24:19And that was it.
24:21Just done.
24:21Now his fastball is unbelievable.
24:23Jesus, gosh.
24:23Yeah.
24:24So now he's at a 34% angle.
24:26This is just, man.
24:26But with the Giants, he was at a 28% angle.
24:29I get the Giants pitching him at a 29%.
24:31Red Sox, he was 29%.
24:33He brought it up to 34%.
24:35Now he can't hit his fastball.
24:36And we'll see you at the All-Star game.
24:40That's right.
24:40All righty.
24:41I might pull up on you guys tomorrow at the draft party.
24:45I don't want to say that.
24:46I don't want to say that.
24:47I mean, I'm just laughing because...
24:49Look me in the eye and say, I'm pulling up.
24:52I can't because I'm thinking, okay, I'm trying.
24:54I don't want to get in the middle.
24:55This is like me saying I'm going to show up to your party, but at least I've done that once.
25:00Yeah, no doubt.
25:01They asked about you.
25:02You got fans.
25:02I appreciate that.
25:04Who are you going to make a pick?
25:06You're going to make a pick?
25:07I'm not going to see you tomorrow.
25:09They make a pick.
25:10All right.
25:11Kareem Lopez.
25:11Kareem Lopez.
