12:02to do that you're willing to do anything under the sun to make yourself look right in the initial
12:07attempt in training for donovan mitchell probably because if you don't we all know what this is and
12:13the fact that we haven't spent much time talking about the donovan mitchell contract extension is
12:19kind of a little bit surprising to me because if you can't get that done this year puts a lot

12:24pressure on the 2026 27 cavaliers and if they don't win a championship you could risk losing donovan
12:31mitchell for nothing that's that's why and again i'm my my word of caution to calves fan is the nba
12:38machinery is really good at distracting you from what the whole truth is right i'm not saying there
12:44isn't there aren't like emphatic reasons why waiting an offseason makes sense for donovan mitchell
12:51he can get paid more he can do the no trade request there's a couple other things you can do
12:55totally get that totally understand that he can wait and make more money he also can wait and see
13:01what the calves do the idea that he isn't looking at this and he isn't himself in evaluation mode for
13:08the calves or with the calves after four years is nonsensical he should be he's got maybe two to
13:14three more years to chase an nba championship and just thinking this is just about you know making more
13:19money well he can wait a year and make more money wherever he is whether that's cleveland or
13:24somewhere else yeah yeah that's that's how it works so like if the goal really is winning a
13:30championship with donovan mitchell and we heard the quotes from kobe when the season ended about how
13:34he's uniquely theirs and all of that stuff like if that's really what this is about then probably keep
13:40it moving right try to get a yannis try to get a lebron the uniquely their one it's it's this

13:46what it is because i know kobe's just trying to do the united front thing it definitely sounded like a
13:53guy who was really insecure trying to be like hey she's mine all right we're uniquely tied together

14:40how great he is he is he is a bonafide top seven or top eight player in the nba and

14:46a down season that being said would i like maybe a little piece broken off of whatever trade actually
14:52happens yes if if brown goes to milwaukee i'm happy to be that third team that considers mobley
15:00for jalen brown and if yannis goes to miami i'm very much interested in what the price is on jaime
15:08haquez because i think he's one of the kind of players that you've been missing yeah a wing that's
15:12athletic enough and and fits that young timeline similar to mobley so so you're not entertaining
15:19mobley for yannis you would entertain mobley for jalen brown yes yeah i think we're at a point where
15:24jalen brown's value around the nba is down and i think that's insane because it's his best season
15:29in the nba he's everything you want like people are talking about trey murphy guys trey murphy is a
15:35very nice player jalen brown's actually done it jalen brown was the focal point on a number one seed or
15:41top two seed in the eastern conference um he has played good defense before i will not call him a
15:47good defender because that's a different conversation uh but he is i mean he's a big athletic wing that
15:53can do kind of just about everything you want i wonder even if the heat land yannis and now it's
16:00gotten to the point with boston where it's out there that jalen brown are in these trade conversations
16:06could there be a move that could follow a yannis to miami where boston just says hey we're breaking
16:12up brown and tatum get your offers in yeah okay my only thing is i don't want evan mobley going
