00:04You did something, I've never seen this before from a pro, okay?
00:06I've seen people play to the home crowd.
00:08I've never seen people play against the home crowd showing up with the Jack Hughes jersey,
00:13the sweater I should say, on the 14th hole up there.
00:16But was that a calculated play to really win over the American fans here heading
00:20into our national open?
00:21Definitely was, it wasn't as calculated as you're making it sound.
00:25Trying to give some credit here, man.
00:27On Wednesday, we get to the rink and guys are doing that.
00:30I'm like, oh, my God, why do we not have a Team USA jersey?
00:33This would just be perfect.
00:34So my manager and I went online, tried to see if we could overnight any jersey,
00:40Hellebuck or Hughes, and we couldn't get one.
00:43So I was like, all right, well, missed opportunity.
00:45Well, Friday's round, I see a guy following me in the stands who had the jersey.
00:51And I finish this, which was my 11th hole.
00:55I fortunately finished first, and I beelined it right to him.
00:58And I said, hey, man, love the jersey.
01:00Any way I could buy that for whatever you want.
01:04And I want to wear it tomorrow on the rink.
01:06And he goes, hell yeah.
01:06So I was like, all right, meet me after the round.
01:08Sure enough, he's there after the round.
01:10Gave him a couple hundred bucks.
01:11Got his address, everything.
01:14And I said, I'll ship it back to you.
01:16I'll sign anything you want.
01:17Thank you so much for doing this.
01:18And then it was like, all right, we're doing this.
01:20That is so good.
01:21And you made a birdie, right?
01:23Yeah.
01:23So, honestly, some of the most nerves I had in the whole tournament, maybe the whole year.
01:28So I walk up.
01:29They're booing me.
01:30Sure.
01:31Loved it.
01:31It was great.
01:32Take it off because I have to hit the shot.
01:34I'm still trying to win a tournament.
01:35I stone it.
01:36And then I put it back on walking down.
01:38Well, we thought stone was like tapping.
01:40It was about four and a half, five feet.
01:42And so I have the jersey on and I'm like, if I miss this, this would just be the worst
01:48thing ever.
01:49So I, you know, I was really nervous with the putt.
01:51And I was like, all we got to do is make this putt, make the putt.
01:54And I remember walking off.
01:55A lot of the guys that were in the group, like the Marshalls from Canada, they go, you
01:59got stones.
