00:00of you know one of the things brian rollap talked about is at that player's address was
00:06the trying to go internationally more you know and trying to kind of maybe find some you know
00:12really strengthening that partnership with the dp world tour and and maybe making more of those
00:17events co-sanctioned he didn't say anything about that specifically but he alluded to going abroad
00:21more often and playing that would help the track two guys like help the track two guys it would
00:26help the dp world tour fields it would give guys more opportunities to play in other places and and
00:32you and i spoke about this earlier and and i i didn't know if it sounded stupid but we have
00:35to
00:36talk about it what what if the pga tour now purchased live in those 10 international events and and i
00:47don't know what that would look like but i do like the idea of the pga tour going to a
00:53place to where
00:54okay live runs all these events now what what can they provide well they have players that they can
01:00send and play now it may totally ruin their team model in this uh which i don't think live is
01:08going
01:08to to let go of because that seems to be something that they think is going to be the the
01:14you know the
01:14revenue driver for their league uh and its future so maybe it doesn't make any sense but i don't what
01:21does make sense is and you just kind of talked about it is if the pga tour strengthen their
01:25relationships with the dp world or with these these national open events all of a sudden you get all
01:31these pga tour players going and playing in those um now they might not be the track one guys but
01:36you
01:36might get some guys that might go play but i think the another discussion we need to have is
01:42how it was rumored that track one guys will be strongly um discouraged from playing in track
01:50two events and i just want to get your thoughts on that because that that all of a sudden feels
01:56against what the pga tour policy is on you can't really tell us what we can and can't play in
02:02right
02:02that's not enough bylaws and and i think this is where it's going to get very interesting to see
02:08how the schedule itself is composed of of how how many like you know what i just said a couple
02:14minutes ago like if in one iteration we're assuming that all 16 of the track one events match up
02:21exactly with the track two event and there are four extra track two events left out there that's
02:26certainly one possibility but there could be other possibilities where there are weeks where
02:30track one guys aren't playing and they could go play in a track two an event because it has a
02:34hometown tie you know let's just say that you know one of these texas events was on a week where
02:40there
02:40wasn't a track one event and and they really want to have scotty shepherd come play and the pga tour
02:44saying hey we really prefer you to leave that opportunity for the guys they're trying to earn
02:48promotion through track two i i think it's i think look there are going to be you know uh pain
02:54points
02:54pressure points around the change to this system like there is with anything and i but i do think
03:01that it this creates better definition as to what the pga tour is and what the pathways are to playing
03:07their way on it and it gets away from the things that we've disliked these you know 70 80 player
03:12no cut limited field events like back to 120 with cuts and then a larger 140 man feel where you
03:20can play
03:20your way in like i i do kind of like the idea of like i think there are times where
03:26even we're talking
03:26about the the fedex cup ball where guys in the last these last few years had to continue playing
03:32to stay one top 125 and now top 100 to retain their card but there are guys showing up and
03:37playing who
03:38were you know top 50 or made it to east lake they're already good next year like yeah i didn't
03:43i didn't
03:43love that that they're taking spots away from guys who now i understand from from an event perspective
03:48selling against it you know you want to have the biggest and best field you could possibly have
03:52but i can understand wanting a little bit of a separation between you know track one and track
03:59two simply to make sure the system works the way that it is intended to to enable playing
04:04opportunities for these guys who are trying to kind of work their way into track one
