00:00I thought there would have been some hard words in the dressing room and they were going to come out
00:03and fight.
00:04The coach said, like, yeah, we expect more from ourselves, like, we could have scored more goals.
00:10Malam.
00:12Rima Kassi.
00:15Yeah, really, really proud of the lads tonight.
00:19Long season.
00:21June windows are always challenging.
00:24You know, players have really got to put their minds to the task, and they did tonight.
00:30We expected Mozambique to be a wounded animal coming out with a bit of fire, and they did.
00:38But, again, I think our players for long periods of the game controlled the game, showed their quality.
00:47Disappointed not to get more goals, but at the same time, really happy to see a resilient performance where we
00:53got tested for periods and we had to grind it out.
00:56So we need that.
00:57We need that sort of test.
00:59I didn't feel in the Oman game, we really got put under that transitional pressure.
01:04But these guys tonight could go front and back, I think, quicker than anyone expected.
01:09So, proud of Ola.
01:11It was great to see him sort of freestyling out there and enjoying his football.
01:16Ragna, Marcelino.
01:17It was nice to see.
01:19I think Indonesia can be excited about the talent that we have.
01:23And then you've got players like Alton Baggett, who was an absolute warrior at the back tonight.
01:28You know, held the line, and Joey Palapesi in front of home.
01:33I mean, players are really sure.
01:36We've got a strong central spine, so I think you can be proud of our work this last two games.
01:42And we'll stay humble and get to work in September.
01:46Big window coming up then.
01:51I couldn't agree more with the coach.
01:54We really enjoyed our football today.
01:56And I think you could see that, the joy.
01:58And I think that's the reason why we all started to play football.
02:02So that was really fun.
02:03But also with the coach said, like, yeah, we expect more from ourselves.
02:07Like, we could have scored more goals.
02:10But yeah, next camp, we will work on that.
02:14Yeah, I think Mozambique were true to type.
02:17They came out with a spirit.
02:19I think after the Oman game, we anticipated.
02:22Now, there would have been some hard words in the dressing room,
02:25and they were going to come out and fight.
02:27They're a very transitional team.
02:31It's, you know, playing against African teams,
02:33you know it's going to be a chaotic game.
02:37And if you flow into that chaos,
02:40they'll ultimately get the better of you.
02:42So there were moments I felt our team got pulled into the chaos
02:46where it became too transitional.
02:48We could have controlled it at periods.
02:50But then there were just times where I thought our players were top level.
02:54We were just finishing, missing that finishing act.
02:59I think we probably could have got the game killed off in the first half.
03:03That's what we were hoping for.
03:05So I think the team development, we talk about momentum.
03:09The two wins, we've not done that since 2024,
03:14back-to-back against higher-ranked teams.
03:16That's two higher-ranked teams we've beaten.
03:19And what I'd say is a really difficult window.
03:21June's a tough time for these players at their end of the seasons to push through.
03:25So again, proud of the players.
03:28We've got some momentum going now.
03:31The big challenge is to keep that undefeated run through July, August,
03:35and then September, October.
03:38That's the standard we're trying to push with this group.
03:43Of course, I'm always happy to score.
03:45I feel at home here.
03:47I feel at home in the stadium with the people around me.
03:49So every time I step on the pitch, I wear the jersey, I feel free.
03:53And I think then I can express myself the best way possible.
03:57So I'm just enjoying every minute with my brothers on the pitch
04:00and all the people in the stadium.
04:02So I'm loving it.
04:06Yeah, I think the Vietnam coach tonight,
04:12he's obviously doing his scouting.
04:15I'm not sure that's the team we'll be playing in AFF.
04:18And there'll be a different style of play
04:21and a different formation and a different approach,
04:24which we worked on in May.
04:26Again, the June window is different
04:28when you've got the players that are based in Europe.
04:33And AFF will be a little bit different as well.
04:35So hopefully you've got a chance to see a couple of players,
04:39but yeah, good luck to them.
04:44Okay, thanks.
