00:06One of the biggest questions ahead of the World Cup is who will win and while betting sites and
00:11gurus have made their predictions AI has weighed in with the leading supercomputer making its
00:16analytical prediction. The Optus supercomputer ran over 25,000 pre-tournament simulations
00:22and determined that Spain are the overall favorites giving them a 16.1% chance of winning
00:27the tournament. Followed by France with 12.8%, England a third with an 11% chance while holders
00:34Argentina were given a 10% chance to retain the title. While Iran's chances of winning the tournament
00:40is miniscule, their chances of breaching one of FIFA's matchday rules is extremely high.
00:45According to Iran's ambassador to Mexico, the Arab nation is only allowed to enter the United States
00:50on the morning of matches and must leave the country on the same day. However, FIFA requires
00:56each team's coach to attend press conferences the day before matches at the venue. This
01:01presents a massive challenge to Iran who are based in Mexico despite all their group matches being
01:06hosted in the United States. Meanwhile, nine people were injured in a shooting near England's World
01:12Cup base in Kansas City just days before the tournament. The incident occurred just about
01:17four miles from where England are set to train. The English squad is set to arrive at the Kansas City
01:21camp on Wednesday. And Germany will have to do without one of their most promising talents in
01:26Bayern Munich's Leonard Karl. The 18-year-old was set to begin his World Cup dream after a promising
01:31start to his career with the German champions. The youngster tore a muscle in his left thigh and is
01:37expected to miss eight weeks depriving Germany of one of their most prodigious talents. Meanwhile,
01:42Brazil also made a change through their original World Cup squad, drafting in soon-to-be Manchester United
01:47midfielder Edison to replace injured right-back Wesley. The rumoured defender injured his adductor muscle
01:53in Brazil's friendly against Egypt on Saturday.
