Transcript
00:06France manager Didier Deschamps has named his 26-man squad and in doing so he proved why the
00:12French are co-favorites having one of, if not the deepest and most talented squads around.
00:17While the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Michael Olisse and more are there as expected,
00:22it's more about the level of talent left off that tells the story. Eduardo Kamavinga, Pierre
00:27Kalulu, Lenny Euro, Kefren Turam, Antoine Griezmann and Randel Kolomouane would start for almost
00:33everyone else but failed to make the cut for France. Brazil have given their Italian manager
00:39Carlo Ancelotti a vote of confidence ahead of the World Cup. They have extended the 66-year-old's
00:44contract until the 2030 World Cup. The former Real Madrid and AC Milan manager is the first
00:50foreigner to manage Brazil since the brief stint of Argentine Filippo Nunes in 1965. Japan with
00:57delta heavy blow as they will have to do with our forward Takumi Minamino due to injury. The
01:02Monaco striker tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in December but will not be fit
01:07in time for the summer tournament. And the Japanese will also have to do with our Brighton winger
01:11Karu Mitoma. The 28-year-old suffered an untimely hamstring injury last weekend against Wolves.
01:17And the World Cup fever has reached the city of Atlanta as the World Cup trophy is on display. Fans
01:23gathered at a Home Depot backyard in downtown Atlanta to get close to the trophy which will
01:28be making its way throughout cities in the U.S. And golf's loss is football's gain as Saudi Arabia's
01:34sovereign wealth fund has become an official tournament sponsor of the World Cup. Only
01:39recently it was announced that the Saudis were pulling its funding from LiveGolf. The move isn't
01:44a surprise with the oil rich Kingdom nation holding the rights to host the 2034 World Cup.
