00:40So we have the Vupu Argus G4 Mini and the Vupu Argus G4.
00:48And Vupu is kind of pushing this launch incredibly hard
00:52and they're promising a revolutionary multi-ohm cartridge system
00:56that switches resistances within a single pod.
01:02But even though they did send these to me,
01:06it did come with the influencer marketing brief.
01:10And if you know anything about my channel,
01:13I don't do scripts.
01:15I don't do briefs.
01:16I don't do anything like that.
01:18We're going to look at these guys on our terms
01:21and we're going to review these entirely on their own merit.
01:28So I think we should crack these guys open
01:30and I should start
01:33by getting rid of the cellophane on both of them, I think.

01:54So let's have a look around the boxes.

01:59And I know I mentioned I did get a marketing brief.

02:44that has a pretty good leak shield,
02:46but it's not a 30 day.
02:48If you leave it standing,
02:49it does eventually leak.
02:51So I'm curious to test that one.

18:05i i've not been able to vape it this is homemade e-liquid juice what i made myself
18:12and it is nasty stuff i'm going to put this in here and leave it on the shelf for 30

18:20see what happens now luckily i've already put that juice into some bottles

18:35um i do have more bottles available if anyone is brave enough let me know hit me up on instagram
18:46i'm sure you remember that infamous live stream but um yeah let's put the shits in here
18:58oh that's already that juice is nasty
19:06even the smell of it is not pleasant
19:11so if we do want to test these pods for the leak proof it can't get
19:17excuse me any more extreme than me putting the shits in it and i am not going to vape that
19:24pod
19:25that's just going to sit there for 30 days now
19:31we'll test it we'll test it so what i'm going to do now is i'm going to leave both of
19:36these here
19:37to fully saturate i'll put them on a little bit of an angle so the bubbles have somewhere to
19:41go and i can pick it up right there we go and i'm just going to let them fully saturate
19:49so i'm going
19:50to go away for five minutes while these fully saturate and then we'll come back and actually
19:55look at both of these devices and the multi-ohm pods i'll have a look at them as well
20:04and we're back now whilst these guys were saturating that one is really bubbling a lot
20:13the one that i put the uh the shit liquid into
20:21but then again that is a very nasty liquid
20:27i'm probably not safe for human consumption but um i'm not liking the way that's bubbling
20:33already i'm already thinking that's reacting with something in the coil
20:38but the two with the normal juices are perfectly fine it's just that one i'm scared of my own juice
20:47can you tell it yeah right so whilst these were saturating i did quickly flick through the
20:54influencer brief again just to make sure i can tell you guys about these properly before i get
21:00into my actual opinions on them these pods are apparently 3.5 mil which is not tpd compliant
21:10the highest in the uk is three mil but it does say in the influencer brief i'll flash it up
21:18here
21:192 mil would be the tpd compliant version it also says look at point number two
21:27look at point number two because it says a 1650 milliamp high density battery and there's one
21:35particular thing in that up to five days from one charge
21:43i'm i want to believe that but i am skeptical so that again is something else that i'm going to
21:50test
21:51whether one charge does last me five days with both of these devices and the multi-core electro tech
22:01which is point number three industry first innovation and i do have to give it to them there
22:08these pods are an industry first i have not seen anything like that before i have seen pods where
22:18you can flip the pods around and it will change things like the airflow but to actually change the ohms
22:26is a brand new thing i haven't encountered that before
22:34and with the little bit of research i've done they really are the first company to actually do this
22:41with the ohms they are the first innovators of it
22:46i do have some initial thoughts on it which i'll get to later on i kind of already formulated opinion
22:53about the multi ohm pods but i'm going to hold my opinions can change so the preconceived opinion i
23:03have right now might change after i use them so let's actually do that let's give these a go
23:09i'm going to start with the mini
23:13airflow is all the way open and i believe it's the ohms at the front
23:20as in the front of the device is the one that you're actually using so let's have a go with
23:26this
23:26and this is the nabuwan ice from kuyuki

24:02you know what i actually like that that is a nice easy simple vape
24:09airflow is actually decent that is a decent airflow on there
24:14uh easy to adjust again let's tighten it a little bit
24:26yeah no complaints at all with the airflow on that device
24:32okay i've got a little bit too tight for my own personal preference
24:36open up a bit more still not all the way
24:48okay i have got no complaints about that actually
24:56the pod is slightly loose
25:01that could be because of the size of it it's a very tall pod
25:06and it's definitely not the worst one we've seen but having it a little bit loose
25:13hmm right let's try the flip so a flip you know i had it on the 0.7
25:20this is the one ohm oh it's flashing green this time
25:26so let's try the one ohm

25:37i was not i'm going to be completely honest i was not expecting to be able to tell the difference
25:45but i can that is definitive difference between the two
26:01you know this switchable ohms is actually winning me over a little bit here
26:23i actually really like that i do actually really like that that that is a
26:30thing that is an interesting thing
26:40that is a really interesting feature
26:54when i'm okay let me tell you what i'm finding out by doing that when i'm vaping
27:00one side versus the other i'm kind of almost getting the feeling that there's two coils in that pod
27:11that's almost what it's like it's like it is a 0.7 ohm coil and a one ohm coil
27:18that's kind of the feeling i'm getting with it i don't know if it definitely is
27:23but it that's the way it's vaping as if there's two coils in there
27:42oh i am curious now
27:46i kind of want to rip that open and just have a look
27:50but i'll save that for my final review let's move on to the g4 now so let's move away from
27:56the mini and
27:57get the g4 out of the way button controls 16 watt on the 0.7 ohm
28:07and we can change it max power on the 0.7
28:12is 18 watts let's try that one then
28:29hang on
28:39it's better airflow on the g4 much better airflow i say much better slightly improved airflow over the mini
28:48way even though the airflow
28:53looks almost identical in fact they do look identical
29:00the airflow feels better on this one
29:07i have got it too far open though because
29:11i don't think i just found a problem hang on
29:25oh no right i think just a bit of a glitch with this one
29:39yeah
29:44okay
29:50and i'm going to point out something else that came with the marketing brief here
29:55the message they sent me
29:58the video performance may impact
30:01them sending me future devices
30:04i think what i'm about to say is definitely going to impact
30:07vp sending me more devices in the future
30:11this has a problem
30:14the one they've sent me has a glitch
30:18or a fault or something
30:23because not when it's half down the airflow let me just try again
30:30not there okay
30:38hmm
30:42there's definitely something wrong with this one
30:45and i'll tell you exactly what the problem is when the airflow is fully open
30:51there's a delay from you starting the inhale
30:55it's actually firing
30:57there's a good half second delay
31:00i know a half second doesn't sound like much but
31:04it kind of is for vapors i did not have that issue with the mini
31:10no that's instant
31:19and again
31:21so it does work it does fire
31:24it's just that first half second
31:27it's not firing when i'm inhaling
31:33let's knock the airflow down a little bit
31:39no same thing again there let's knock it down more
31:46that one was instant
31:52fraction of a second
31:58yeah
32:04okay yeah there's definitely a problem when this one has airflow
32:08i'd say more than about
32:11they're open
32:15it does have that delay with firing it's not
32:19as soon as you start inhaling it starts firing
32:21there isn't there's a delay
32:25let's try flipping the pod over and point it to the one ohm
32:31and again i'm going to boost that up to the 14
32:37maximum wattage on the one ohm
32:40and i'm just going to see fully open again
32:46same thing
32:48same thing
32:55so it's not the pod
32:57let's just make sure it's not the pod
33:01i've swapped the pods
33:14it actually could be the pod
33:20no it's not it's not the pod it's the device
33:24so
33:27it does work it's just that little bit of a delay
33:33and whereas most people take very short puffs
33:38a half second delay
33:40isn't very good
33:46i've got no issues with this one
33:48no issues with the mini that one little fault thing which is coming up for the g4
33:56yeah sorry if you don't want to send me any more free samples i'm perfectly fine with that i'll go
34:01back to reading what i was doing originally of purchasing every device i review
34:06i'm more than happy to do that but i've found a problem with this one
34:13but again let's go back to the pods so let's have a look at the pods because
34:180.7 ohm and the one ohm
34:21it's again feeling like there's two coils in there
34:34yeah
34:46it definitely does give the impression that there are two separate coils in that pod
34:54now it did say
34:59we can switch it how do we switch it to a four i'm actually going to have to read the
35:03instructions here
35:04i'll just in fact i'm going to look at the box
35:07because
35:10does say 0.4 ohm
35:13and it's not immediately obvious how i switch it to that 4 ohm
35:19oh there we go it's two clicks i was clicking it too much
35:2430 watts on a 0.4 ohm
35:33oh okay the actual pod technology is really winning me over here
35:50that is really winning me over i'm
35:55that's giving me the impression there are three coils in each pod
36:01does the same thing do this one

36:06i am really impressed with that pod technology
36:14it's only two connections
36:19three three connections
36:26does it stay on 4 ohm if i flip it
36:29it does
36:32so maybe there's only one coil
36:37i really want to rip one of these pods open though but you'll have to wait for the full review

36:57i'm at least going to say there's definitely two coils in each of them pods
37:03possibly three after trying that 0.4 ohm
37:07that's what it feels like that's the impression it's giving me

37:32the packaging on the mini was a lot better as well

37:46my initial reservations about the pod technology
37:51hasn't really changed let me tell you what my thoughts on this pod technology is
37:56if you are brand new to vaping and you're not sure what your level is
38:02this pod system is going to be really really good for you
38:06but if you're a seasoned vapor you know what you like
38:11i know in my case i like a 0.8 ohm pod
38:16that's my favorite that is my preferred pod ohm
38:21so for a seasoned vapor like me
38:24or anyone who's been vaping for a reasonable amount of time to actually figure out what they like
38:30this switching your ohms in the pod
38:34it's a little bit more of a gimmick
38:38rather than an actual feature that's the opinion i've got on it
38:43and i know i am not following their marketing brief at all with this
38:49it's a good technology you are the industry first but it does come across as a little bit of a
38:57gimmick
38:58to a seasoned vapor because i'll be completely honest i'm going to put this on the 0.7 ohm
39:03which is the closest to my preference
39:070.7 ohm and i'm not going to use it again that's where it's going to live
39:14it's pointless it's a pointless feature for a seasoned vapor who knows what they like
39:20if you are brand new to the market trying to discover then yes perfect technology for you
39:28three different pods in one you can experiment you can try you can figure out your levels but
39:33once you know your level the feature kind of becomes pointless
39:42because you'll you'll have one ohm setting that you like and you'll stick with that one ohm
39:50and i think that's kind of where i have to leave it
39:56because this one has the fault i do prefer the mini if this one didn't have that
40:03delayed fire or the delayed fire issue i probably would have gone for this one as my favorite but that
40:10one issue alone i just can't move past
40:17yeah that's a really bad thing it's doing it on every single puff nearly
40:26that is when we'll leave it i'm going to go away and use these guys fully like i always do
40:31i'm going to
40:32go through the full bottle this one with the shits in it that is going to live on my shelf
40:38for the next
40:3930 days and we're going to test that liquid seal shield and see if it leaks with the worst juice
40:47it can possibly have if it doesn't leak then yeah we can approve that one but um yeah i think
