00:19I hope you're doing okay because I'm doing okay too.
00:22And I have a little bit of an interesting one for you today because this, you may notice, is not
00:32in a box.
00:33And I've kind of got one the right way up and one the wrong way up.
00:39There we go. They're both the right way up now.
00:42So this isn't actually available on the market.
00:49What this is, is this is from an ODM, a factory that produces vaping devices.
00:57And this is one of the samples they give out to prospective brands to say,
01:03Hey, look what we can do.
01:06We can make this device for you with your branding on it.
01:10And I was lucky enough to pick one up at the Vapor Expo.
01:16Now, as far as I know, this is as yet unnamed.
01:22Or at least if it is named, I don't know what the name is.
01:27All I can tell you it is from Moxie.
01:31And they generally seem to advertise things under the brand name Vapley.
01:38That's kind of what they normally do.
01:40It hasn't, that hasn't really opened very well there.
01:43Let me just get in and rip it.
01:48And once I've opened these, you'll actually see why I wanted it.
01:52I mean, look at the design on that body.
01:57Now, it does have watermelon ice and you can see here, this is what we're meaning on the side.
02:04It has brand and then watermelon ice.
02:07There's no actual flavor in here.
02:10This is just to show how it can be branded if you wanted this device.
02:17Oh, it does have a model number on the bottom.
02:23BF001800.
02:25Recharge type C.
02:28Battery capacity is 700 milliamp hour.
02:31That's compared to some of the other devices on the market.
02:35A 700 milliamp hour battery isn't that good.
02:40I mean, it's good, but when you've got a thousand milliamp, kind of now being the standard.
02:48So maybe you can request that if you wanted to actually get this as your own device.
02:52Maybe you could request that.
02:54And this is the pod.
03:00Now, let me just slide it in.
03:04And you'll see why I wanted this.
03:06It looks like a bottle of juice.
03:11And that's the only reason I actually wanted to pick this guy up.
03:16And I don't know basically anything about this.
03:21It's purely a sample to see if you want to do it.
03:30And why is the thought just popped in my head that I should actually design a vape mixer device now?
03:38Can you imagine if, like, I designed and brought out a pod device?
03:43I mean, I wouldn't even know where to start with doing that.
03:47But I think I could, conceptually at least, come up with a pretty good one.
03:53But, um, that's a train of thought for another day.
03:58Let's just roll that in the bin.
04:01You know, that magnet is actually really strong.

04:05And we have lights at the bottom.

04:11I'm kind of liking this.

04:17How big the tank is on this.
04:20So we're going to have fun finding out.
04:26It's actually kind of hard to open the pod on this.

04:43I think that's going to be a 10 mil tank.

05:11So I was originally planning to use a 10 mil bottle on this.
05:16I've now gone and grabbed a hundred mil bottle instead.
05:19I've gone for the apple juice ice from own boy.
05:23They're salt long fill.
05:25It's already pre mixed the nicotine into it.
05:28So, um, that's already done.
05:32And I'm just kind of wanting to see.
05:35Let me just quickly mark that as well.
05:40Where the level is.
05:41It's right at the top there.
05:43Okay.
05:46So the reason I want to use a hundred.
05:48Yeah, it is a hundred mil bottle.
05:50I'm confusing myself now.
05:52Yeah.
05:53It's a 100 mil bottle.

06:00It's a 50 mil bottle.
06:04So I'm just curious to see how much this pod actually takes in terms of juice.
06:12And if it takes more than 10 mils, one 10 mil bottle is not going to tell me.
06:18Whereas this larger bottle, this long fill, will tell me.
06:23So let's get it in.
06:24And I can't actually see.
06:27It's not very transparent.
06:29Where did I put my little light?
06:30There it is.
06:32So, um.
06:35I'm sorry if this kind of washes out the camera a little bit.
06:37I just need to make it a bit more visible for me to actually see the juice level in there.
06:49Okay, we're getting quite a lot of juice in there.
07:03I'd say we're already past the 10 mil mark.
07:12That is a huge pod.
07:19There we go.
07:20That's just breached.
07:23Or just topped up.
07:29Right, so with that, looking at the bottle, I'd estimate that that is about a 15 mil tank.
07:38So definitely not compliant with TPD.
07:43But a lot of these brands, these OEM brands and ODM brands who go to the Vapor Expo,
07:48when they're showing off devices like this, it's mainly to say, here's what we can do.
07:57They're not always there to show off what is TPD compliant, or even legal in the UK.
08:05It's more of a showing off.
08:09It's more of, yeah, this is what we can do.
08:12We're better than them because we can do this.
08:14There's a lot of that, my dick's bigger than yours energy with the OEM and ODM manufacturers at the Expo.
08:24And that's kind of what this is.
08:28So let's peel that off.
08:33And let's have a look.
08:35Look, those magnets are reasonably strong.
08:43And now that the juice has settled, yeah, that's definitely more than 10 mil gone out of that bottle.
08:52It was level with the top of the label.
08:55And yes, I know, I just knocked it over.
08:57And it's now there.
09:02So it's gone from the top of the label to where the top of my fingernail is here.
09:07That's how much juice has gone in, which is more than 10 mil.
09:14Do that again.
09:16Yeah, it's about 15 mil gone in this.
09:20So what I'm going to do is I'm going to leave that to one side like I always do.
09:25And I'm going to come back in just a minute once it's fully saturated.
09:30And then we'll have an actual go of this and see if it actually holds up to the good design.
09:37Because at the minute, the only thing I know about it is I kind of really like that design.
09:44And why is it really playing with me?
09:46Why have I now got visions of vape mixer on the side of a vape like that?
09:52I really want to look into making a pod system now.
09:56Right, I'm going down a rabbit hole.

11:21Right, you know what, let's get the flavour out of the way first.
11:26This is a really nice apple flavour.
11:29Even in this device, I'm saying even in this device, I'll explain why in a minute.
11:34Even in this device, this is a really nice flavour.
11:38Lots of ice in it.
11:40Really massive cooling effect.
11:43Salt long fill.
11:44You can kind of taste the salt in it a little bit.
11:49It's a 2060 juice.
11:55The Nick shots I've put in here were pure.
11:59So it would have now brought it up to about 60-40.
12:05I actually really like that juice.
12:07It's very refreshing.
12:08I kind of wish I'd have opened this juice during the heatwave we had a few days ago.
12:15Because this would have been perfect.
12:18But as England is, we're now getting into cooler weather again.
12:22The heatwave has been and gone and I'm kind of regretting not using this sooner.
12:27That's a really nice juice.
12:30Right, back to the device.
12:40I think the design is pretty much the only thing going for it.
12:47I really like that design.
12:52But, the design does have a few issues.
12:55The mouthpiece at the front.
12:57I love the fact it looks like a bottle.
13:02But, that mouthpiece at the top is a really, really weird shape.
13:07It is not comfortable against the lips.
13:15It kind of almost feels like I have to do the duck face.
13:34The airflow as well is kind of restrictive.
13:37There's two holes on the bottom.
13:40And I can kind of see, looking at this, two holes, this hole, what I'm pointing at here, that's not
13:52an airflow.
13:52That one is going directly to the sensor.
13:55The other hole is the airflow.
13:59The other hole is the airflow.
13:59Not adjustable.
14:01And it's very restrictive.
14:05Very restrictive on that airflow.
14:12And one thing I am noticing, the magnets are really strong, so they do hold it in.
14:19And the length of the pod, this approximately inch long section here,
14:27is keeping it kind of in there pretty good.
14:31But, it's loose.
14:33It wobbles around.
14:35There's a lot of movement in that pod.
14:39And, although the magnets are kind of good at pulling it in,
14:44it doesn't stop it moving around.
14:47In fact,
14:52I've noticed another issue now.
14:56This is going to damage itself.
15:00Let me show you what I mean, because
15:04these two silver bits are the magnets.
15:10And they connect to the two big silver bits in the bottom.
15:14But there's nothing to prevent this pod from spinning in the device.
15:20These two gold bits are the contacts for the coil.
15:25Which connect to those two pods, or those two pins at the bottom.
15:31And those pins kind of stick up.
15:35And when it's in, and you rotate the device,
15:42can you see what is exactly the same distance apart, and in the same place,
15:51the gold connections, it's these two air holes, this one and this one, on the bottom of the pod.
16:00Now, there's nothing separating them.
16:04And then pins, let me just check.
16:08Right, the pins are spring-loaded.
16:12Which means once the pod goes in,
16:15they'll spring up to make contacts with the contacts on the bottom of the pod.
16:20Which means they're pushed down.
16:22When the pod spins, though,
16:25those pins will spring up into these holes on the bottom of the pod.
16:35And I'll get it back in.
16:37So, that's on the magnets.
16:38And then if I rotate the body,
16:42there.
16:44The pins have now sprung up and locked in that hole.
16:49If I spin that any more,
16:52I'm going to damage those pins.
16:54I need to take it out and realign it.
16:59So, there are a few design issues with this.
17:07In fact, I'm just noticing as well,
17:10the top of the body here is actually pretty sharp.
17:16And it's actually scratching the pod.
17:20I don't know how visible it will be on the cameras,
17:23but do you see these lines here?
17:29And it's actually all the way around.
17:36The body is scratching the fuck out of the pod.
17:45I mean, it does have a side fill,
17:47so you can possibly avoid that by not removing and,
17:52well, by not doing what I'm doing
17:54and repeatedly pulling out and putting it back in.
18:01But then,
18:02if it does that spin thing,
18:03like that's locked again there.
18:08Spin.
18:09I mean, it's pretty much I'm just going to see it locks the same place every time.
18:21If we do it the other way,
18:23yeah, again,
18:24same thing every time.
18:27Yeah,
18:28you can actually hear the little click when them pins spring up into them holes.
18:34This is quite badly designed.
18:38I mean,
18:39I love the graphic on the front of it.
18:43I love the whole aesthetic where it's meant to be like a bottle of juice.
18:48It's supposed to be like a long fill bottle.
18:53That's kind of the only thing going for it.
18:57Hmm.
19:06Cloud production is okay.
19:09There's much,
19:10much better devices out there
19:12if you want clouds out of one of these things.
19:17Hmm.
19:17Hmm.
19:22But what it is doing,
19:24it's handling the flavor
19:27very,
19:28very well.
19:28I do have to say that
19:30it's being perfect with the flavor.
19:33It's giving me exactly what I expected from this juice.
19:38So there is a good point.
19:40It can handle a flavor.
19:51Right.
19:52I'm going to give this one a full field road test.
19:55I'm going to go through this entire long fill bottle in this device.
20:01Might take me a while because there's quite a bit of juice in there.
20:04But once I've done that,
20:06I'll come back and give you my full thoughts on this guy.
20:10If it survives that long,
20:13I'm a little bit doubtful.
20:17But yeah,
20:18that's kind of it.
