00:22And I want to look at another device today.

00:26Anyway, this is the Nexate Crush.

00:33And I must admit it's a brand what I have not actually heard of before the Vapor Expo.

00:41I believe it might be linked in with Vupu.

00:47But I'm not 100% sure so don't quote me on it.

00:51It's just a little things I've read about it online.

00:56It seems to be linked to that but I can't actually find any direct confirmation myself.

01:03So take that with a pinch of salt.

01:06But let's have a look at the Nexate Crush.

01:09It says it has Twin X Dual Coil Dual Airflow.

01:15That does kind of interest me a bit.

01:18It has an NT mode switch.

01:21I'm guessing that means normal and turbo.

01:25And up to 10,000 puffs.

01:28Double apple flavour.

01:31On the side of the box there's not really much on there.

01:35It does say it's got a visible tank.

01:38Back of the box.

01:40All the usual bump.

01:45Contains Trans2 Hexanol.

01:49May produce an allergic reaction.

01:52I'm going to be honest.

01:53I have no idea what that particular chemical is.

01:56So I'm going to pop a quick Google screenshot in here of what it is.

02:10And the fun thing is I still have no idea what it is.

02:13Because I've Googled it and found what that screenshot said after this video.

02:19So you guys know it and I don't yet at the time of me recording this anyway.

03:06And then they've got that note on there just to clarify it may be affected by how you use it.

03:14Top of the box is just the logo and the flavour and the bottom of the box has the barcode.

03:21So let's actually open this guy now and have a look at the device itself.

03:32Anything else in there?

03:33Oh, we do have some instructions.

03:39It's kind of tricky to open, but there we go.

03:48It actually has quite clear text on that.

03:51We've got a little bit of colour on there as well.

03:54The text isn't too small, so it's actually fairly easy to read.

04:00It's a lot better than some other instructions we seem to get.

04:03But let's actually look at the device itself now.

04:10Oh, that is quite a sizable device.

04:13I mean, I've not fully connected it yet.

04:15Oh, we have an E4 on the screen.

04:19I'm guessing that's because it doesn't detect a pod.

04:24You know what?

04:25That double apple smell is really strong.

04:29I haven't even took the seals off this pod yet, and it's already kind of hitting me in the face

04:36with the flavour.

04:38But let's remove these things like it says.

04:48Okay, and these red things on the side, do they, oh, they just pull out.

04:54Okay.

04:57And that looks like our pod is open.

05:03Double apple, it does say dual coil, dual airflow directly on the pod as well.

05:10Let's have a look at the body.

05:14There's a decent amount of weight in there, I'd say.

05:19On the side of the body, we have the screen with the button, which switches between the normal and the

05:26turbo.

05:29Back of the box, we have the crush powered, oh, powered by VPU.

05:33It is a VPU device, I thought it was.

05:36This side has nothing and Nexate on the front of the body.

05:41On the bottom, we have the USB-C charging port and a reasonable sized air hole.

05:51It's not an adjustable airflow, though.

05:55Let's actually build this.

06:00Am I supposed to push that in, because that didn't seem to, ah, yes.

06:05So I was missing a step.

06:07I meant to click the pods together.

06:10And now I should be able to get it in.

06:16That slots in there quite firmly.

06:20But there we go.

06:21That is now built.

06:22Look at that for a device.

06:24That is kind of sleek.

06:27Kind of stylish.

06:32Now, VPU haven't really been doing very well with me on this channel recently.

06:36But this one actually looks pretty good.

06:41VPU might win me over here.

06:46Let's actually do the important thing.

06:48So I've got it on.

06:49Let's switch it to normal mode.

06:51It says 82% battery.

06:53Let's give it a go.

07:01Ooh.

07:06Okay.

07:15First point is the airflow.

07:17The airflow is actually kind of reasonable.

07:22Personal preference, I would prefer a little bit more on the airflow.

07:27But what you have here, even though it's a fixed airflow, it's adequate.

07:33It is enough.

07:34It's actually good enough, that airflow.

07:37Okay.

07:43Cloud production isn't the best.

07:46But it is producing enough of a cloud for me to be happy with.

07:53It's kind of in the middle of where most big puff devices tend to be with that cloud.

08:01And the flavor.

08:06I actually really like that flavor.

08:08And when it says double apple, I'm actually kind of telling what the two apples are.

08:14So you've kind of got, I want to say like the, the, I can't remember the name of it.

08:21What's the, the red sweet apple?

08:25So that's like the predominant apple.

08:28What is, when I can get my words out, the sweet red apple.

08:32I forgot.

08:33Is it gala?

08:34I think.

08:35Don't quote me.

08:43Yeah.

08:44So I'm getting that sweet red apple as the primary predominant flavor.

08:49And then there's just a little bit of an undercurrent of like the green granny smith apple.

08:58So it's like, you've got the red apple, which is center stage.

09:02And then you've got the granny smith green apple just in the background, subtly backing it up.

09:09And it's actually well balanced.

09:18That actually works.

09:20They've actually managed to balance the two flavors pretty perfectly there.

09:25Red apple is the main player.

09:28The granny smith is just in the background, supporting that red apple flavor.

09:34That is really nice, actually.

09:37So let's push the button and flick it to turbo mode and see what that does.

09:51That is a very clear difference.

09:55There's a very clear difference between normal and turbo.

09:59What I think is happening in that, when it's on normal mode, you have one coil firing.

10:07When it's on turbo, I think you have two coils firing.

10:11And if you look through the transparent case, you can actually see two airlines or two chimneys

10:17coming up to the mouthpiece.

10:20So one of them will fire in normal mode.

10:23And in turbo, it's kind of both of them.

10:34In turbo mode, cloud production is a lot better.

10:38I'm getting double the cloud out of the turbo than it was the normal.

10:43That's really good.

10:45Airflow has not changed.

10:47The airflow is exactly the same between the two different modes.

10:59I'm going to switch back to normal.

11:09That's a turbo.

11:19It's a little bit more full in terms of flavor on the turbo mode.

11:27It's not a massive difference, but there's enough of a difference to notice that second coil.

11:33The flavor's kind of a little bit more punchy.

11:38It's a little bit more flavorful on the turbo.

11:41It's not a massive difference, but there's just enough of one to tell that there is a difference,

11:47if you know what I mean.

11:48I am actually really liking that.

11:52I'm actually really liking this device.

12:03The only thing I'd give for this, or the only bit of feedback I'd give,

12:08add an adjustable airflow.

12:10If it had an adjustable airflow, it would be a great device.

12:15On its own as it is, it's actually pretty good.

12:20That is a good device.

12:22An adjustable airflow is one improvement that I would make to this.

12:29And I think that's kind of the only thing I would.

12:31I think that's the only thing I'd improve on it.

12:34Just that adjustable airflow.

12:43Yeah, I am.

12:45I am actually kind of impressed with that one.

12:48I kind of like that.

12:50So, very simple device.

12:52Very quick and easy unboxing.

12:54Hopefully, I've given you enough information about it.
