01:20Is it raining, sunny, windy, cloudy
01:22Playing outside the rim?
01:24Is today to stay at home to play?
01:26Going to school or nursery?

01:50Ah, yes of course
01:52Well, what's the story in BALAMORI?
01:55Well today in BALAMORI
01:57It's a cold day
02:03And everyone here is busy going to work and school
02:14Just pop my coat up here
02:16Oh!
02:19Look at these funny things
02:22Just wind them up
02:33I wonder who these gnashers belong to?
02:37Well they're certainly not mine
02:42These remind me that the dental hygienist is coming to visit the nursery today to look at all the children's
02:48teeth
02:48I hope they've been brushing properly
02:52Ah, there's the school bus
02:55I wonder who will be visiting the BALAMORI nursery today
03:04There's the Keira
03:05There's the Keira
03:08Here's Regan
03:10Hello Ryan
03:12In you come Caitlin
03:14Hello Lauren
03:16Hello Connor
03:18Hi Kyle
03:24And who else I wonder
03:25And you join in the fun too
03:30Everybody, everyone
03:33Come inside and join the fun
03:37Painting, splodging, splashing, dancing, blobbing, building
03:42Make your favourite thing
03:44Everybody, everyone
03:47Come inside and join the fun
03:51Singing, stories, gluing, colouring, dressing up
03:55Playing games, make your favourite thing
03:58Everybody, everyone
04:01Come inside and join the fun
04:05Come inside and join the fun
04:09Did you hear that?
04:13It was your tummy
04:14Oh, that's what it was
04:16No, I don't think so
04:18I think that sounds like we have a visitor
04:24I wonder who it can be
04:29Hi Miss Hoony
04:30Oh, hi kids
04:31Oh, gotta keep warm
04:35It's chilly outside
04:38And one, two, three
04:40And stretch, two, three
04:41And one, two, three
04:42You're making me hot
04:44Just looking at you
04:45So, did you come up with a routine?
04:48A routine?
04:49What, the dance routine?
04:50No
04:52Remember I asked you to come up with a routine
04:54The children could follow
04:55To help remember to brush their teeth
04:57Oh, sure, that routine
04:59Well, actually
05:00I did think up a rhyme
05:02A rhyme?
05:03That sounds great
05:04Can I hear it?
05:05Sure thing
05:08Ready?
05:09Mm-hmm
05:10Brush your top teeth up
05:12Brush your top teeth down
05:13Up, down, up, down
05:15Swish the brush around
05:17Brush your bottom teeth up
05:19Brush your bottom teeth down
05:20Up, down, up, down
05:22Swish the brush around
05:23Now your teeth are sparkling white
05:25You can smile
05:27And when you want a snack
05:28You can crunch an apple
05:31That's brilliant Josie
05:33But there's something missing
05:35Oh, something missing
05:37Oh, more movement
05:38No
05:39There's plenty of movements
05:42That's it
05:43Musical sounds
05:44Your rhyme needs musical sounds
05:47Then it would be perfect
05:48That's a great idea, Miss Hooley
05:50And I know just the person for musical sounds
05:52Spencer
05:54I'll go and see him right away
05:56See you later
05:56See you, Josie
06:00What coloured house do you think Josie will visit first today?
06:10Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
06:16Well there's part of the story in Balamori
06:19Ask which is the house for me
06:22Is it red?
06:23Is it white?
06:25Which coloured house do you think is right?
06:27Pink, yellow, green, orange or blue?
06:30Which coloured house are we going to?
06:33Pink house, white house, red house or yellow?
06:39Green house, orange or blue?
06:42Which coloured house are we going to?
06:50Which coloured house are we going to?
06:52Tell me what do you think?
06:56Tell me what do you think?
06:56Which coloured house are we going to?
06:58Tell me what do you think?
07:02It's the orange house!
07:05Yeah, it's the orange house!
07:07Because that's where Spencer lives
07:12Oh, hi Josie!
07:14Oh, hi Spencer!
07:15What are you doing?
07:16Just having a bit of fun!
07:17So, what brings you here today?
07:19Listen, I've got a rhyme and I was hoping you could help me put some musical sounds to it
07:23Oh yes, I'd love to!
07:24What's it about?
07:25Teeth!
07:26I've written it to help teach the children how to clean their teeth
07:29Gotta take good care of your teeth!
07:31So, let's hear this rhyme of yours!
07:33Okay, ready?
07:34Mm-hm
07:35Brush your top teeth up, brush your top teeth down
07:38Up, down, up, down, now switch the brush around
07:41Now, brush your bottom teeth up, brush your bottom teeth down
07:45Up, down, up, down, now switch the brush around
07:48Now your teeth are sparkling white, you can smile
07:51And when you want a snack, you can crunch an apple
07:57That's a very good rhyme, very rhythmic
07:59Thank you
08:00But it needs something more, some musical sounds to go with the actions
08:04Something like brushing sounds
08:06Yeah, and rubbing sounds
08:09Um, hey, hmm, this might work
08:15Yeah, like that
08:17Yeah
08:17But it needs something more, too
08:19Something that goes crunch
08:20Ah
08:21Hmm
08:27Apples!
08:29Okay, let's try it again, but this time with some musical sounds
08:37Okay
08:38Brush your top teeth up, brush your top teeth down
08:40Up, down, up, down, now switch the brush around
08:43Brush your bottom teeth up, brush your bottom teeth down
08:46Up, down, up, down, now switch the brush around
08:48Now your teeth are sparkling white, you can smile
08:53And when you want a snack, you can crunch an apple
08:56Oh
08:58This is great, that's fantastic
09:00You know, the kids in Balamori will have the best kept teeth ever
09:04Mm-hmm
09:05Spencer
09:06Mm-hmm
09:07How many apples have we got left?
09:12None, these are the last two
09:14Oh no
09:16How are we gonna finish the rhyme for the children if we haven't any apples left?
09:19I know
09:20Without any apples, the song will be ruined
09:23What are we gonna do?
09:25I know
09:26The shop
09:27Penny and Susie
09:28Of course
09:29Well done, Spencer
09:30Pocket and Sweet
09:38I'm Susie Sweet
09:40I'm Penny Pocket
09:41We're pleased to help you
09:43We both run the village shop and cafe
09:47Hey!
09:48I can tell you things you'd never dream you'd ever know
09:54I can count your money up and see how far it goes
10:03I can do this and I can do that and we both just get along
10:09I can count these apples and I can tell you where they're from
10:14I can do this and I can see that and we both really are good shows
10:20Susie and Penny in the village shop
10:26If you're having difficulty counting anything
10:31Or if you'd like some chat, chat, chat, just give us a read
10:35If you fancy a treat, just bop along the street
10:39Come and visit, we'd love to see you
10:41We know more things between us too
10:44So if there's anything we can do
10:51I'm Susie Sweet
10:52I'm Penny Pocket
10:54We're pleased to help you
10:57We both run the village shop and cafe
11:00Hey!
11:01Have a laugh each day
11:04In the shop and cafe
11:06Wahey!
11:14Oh, hi Josie
11:15Oh, hi Susie
11:16Hi Penny
11:18So, what's the story in Balamori?
11:21Oh, I better explain
11:25Miss Hooley asked me to think of a way to help the children remember how to clean their teeth
11:29I thought of a rhyme but I needed some musical sounds to really make it zing
11:36I went to see Spencer and he found all sorts of things
11:39Biscuit tins, scrubbing brushes
11:42And when we put everything together with my rhyme, it all worked out a treat
11:46The only problem is, we need apples to crunch at the end and we crunch the last two of Spencer's
11:56So, you want some apples?
11:58Yes please, and some apples for the children too
12:00And how about some oranges?
12:03Um, no thanks, just apples
12:06Or some big juicy pears
12:08I think she wants apples, Susie
12:11Or how about bananas?
12:13Look at these big yellow bananas
12:16But bananas don't crunch
12:17Oh, if it's crunchier after, how about some crunchy toffees?
12:22They're extra, extra crunchy
12:25They're the crunchiest thing you'll ever hear
12:29What sweets aren't good for your teeth?
12:31Oh, I fancy the odd sweet treat
12:34But apples are sweet and I think Josie has asked you for apples
12:40Right, apples it is
12:46Great, there's going to be lots of healthy crunch crunch crunching at the nursery this afternoon
12:53There you are, there's your apples
12:56Oh, thanks Susie
12:58Bye
13:08Okay, everyone, do you want to come and sit round here? Stand round here?
13:13Because guess what? We've got a special treat today, this is Debbie, a dental hygienist
13:19Does anyone know what that means?
13:21She brushes her teeth
13:23That's right Caitlin, she's going to show us how to brush her teeth properly, okay?
13:28So over to Debbie
13:29Good morning boys and girls, I'm going to show you how to brush your teeth this morning
13:34And I want you to see you doing it very, very well
13:36And I brought the brush bus along with me
13:40See the brush bus, and I'm going to give all of you a new toothbrush
13:43See, there's one's for you
13:46That one's for you
13:48That one's for you
13:49This one's for you
13:52Are we staring back a big space so we've all got room to brush your teeth?
13:56Can I see you start brushing your teeth?
13:58Well done, remember, you've got to brush all of them
14:01Can I see you brushing the back ones?
14:02Oh, that's super, isn't it?
14:04See y'all, let us see y'all
14:06Oh, that is beautiful
14:07I love that sound right here, everyone brushing their teeth
14:10I want you to brush all of them
14:12I brush my teeth
14:14Oh, I brushed mine this morning, I looked after mine
14:17Oh, they're absolutely beautiful
14:19Well done, well done
14:22Well, I've got something special for you today as well for doing that
14:25I've brought you a sticker along
14:26And the sticker's got a lovely tooth on it, a sparkling tooth
14:30And I'm going to give every one of you a nice sticker
14:34There we go
14:36Brilliant, thank you Debbie, these look great
14:41Guess what, we've got a special treat coming just now
14:43We've got Josie Jump and Spencer
14:46Who've written a rhyme especially about brushing their teeth properly
14:49So they're going to teach us it, okay?
14:51So here they are
14:52Look at the glasses, man
14:53Oh, nice
14:54Cute, yes
14:56Wow, look at that toothbrush
14:57I know
14:58We're going to do something
15:00Pink is your colour, isn't it?
15:03I get yellow and green
15:05Is everyone ready for a sing song?
15:07Right, well
15:09Got apples here
15:10Who likes apples?
15:12I'm going to give everyone an apple
15:15Right, take one
15:16Everyone have an apple
15:18Don't eat it just yet
15:19We're going to crunch it at the end of our sing song
15:21Yeah, who's ready for a sing song?
15:23I am, I am
15:26Miss Hooney
15:27Thank you
15:28One for you, Debbie
15:30One for you, Spencer
15:31And one for me
15:32And we're going to crunch it at the end of the song, okay?
15:35Everyone ready?
15:36Ready, Spencer?
15:37Ready
15:38Let's go
15:41Brush your top teeth up, brush your top teeth down
15:43Up, down, up, down, switch the brush around
15:46Brush your bottom teeth up, brush your bottom teeth down
15:49Up, down, up, down, switch the brush around
15:51Now you can smile

15:55You can crunch an apple
15:57Mm
15:58Crunch your apple
16:01That was delicious
16:03Thank you very much, Josie and Spencer

16:33Thank you, Debbie

16:38Big smile
16:40Thank you, Miss Hooley
16:41Thank you, Debbie, bye
16:51Bye
16:52Mmm, nice and crunchy
16:56So, what was the story in Balamori today?
17:06I asked Josie Jump to come up with a way to help children remember how to clean their teeth
17:12She had a great rhyme and great movements, but it needed something more
17:17Musical sounds
17:19So Josie visited Spencer
17:21He made lots of musical sounds with a scrubbing brush and a biscuit tin
17:27At the end, they crunched on apples
17:30Josie bought lots of apples from Susie and Penny
17:34And we all made crunchy sounds as we ate them
17:38The hygienist was very impressed with the rhyme and the children's teeth
17:47What's this here?
17:50Oh, not you again
17:54You've come back into the cupboard
