00:00I was born in Florida, but we did move when I was around eight because my dad had been deported.
00:08Like the government took him to Mexico and then we drove. In the beginning we lived with my
00:13grandmother and then we moved into our own house. My first memories are actually from when I started
00:20being. There was four of us, four kids. This was the first time we were at a swimming pool party.
00:26My mom was not there because her aunt was suffering from cancer. We drove home. My siblings were
00:36already in the bedroom. My dad carried me in and I was kind of awake and I remember him laying
00:44me on
00:44the bed and then I felt the zipper go down. As a nine-year-old child and so I just
00:51I froze and I
00:52kept my eyes closed and I just kind of I let it happen because I was a kid. I didn't
00:59know any
00:59better. My memory of events didn't start becoming clear maybe till I was after I was 15. When I was
01:0612 I was on the phone with a friend. She told me like you have to tell your mom or
01:13I'm gonna tell
01:13your mom.
