Today’s work, 'The Living Radiance,' was written based on the theories of Plotinus, the founder of Neoplatonism and a master of ancient philosophy: Emanation and Beauty as Radiance. Plotinus believed that all beauty in the world is the light flowing from the ultimate source, The One—a phenomenon he called Radiance. This project goes beyond merely depicting outward beauty; it visualizes the flow of divine light emanating from the source as a visual narrative.
The line "Every piece of beauty flows from a single divine start" captures the core Plotinian thought that all things emanate from The One. Furthermore, the declaration "Emanation—the sacred light of the One, starting right here" sings of the designer's commanding presence as she becomes the very source of beauty illuminating the world.
