Carl Schmitt defined the sovereign as "he who decides on the exception." This means that the true master is the one with the absolute decisiveness to suspend normal rules and declare a state of emergency beyond the mechanical operation of daily routines. This project visualizes the moments of absolute power navigating the boundaries of the law, set against a control room filled with numerous monitors and cold, mechanical systems.

The line "I don't follow the code... I am the code" in the lyrics sings of the dignity of a sovereign who is not bound by given rules but becomes the law herself. Furthermore, the declaration "I pause the game, State of Exception!" demonstrates the overwhelming charisma of a designer who halts the existing order to make a new decision.
