Hello, citizens of Acity!
Today’s featured work, [Floating Solitude], was created based on the aesthetics of the "floating subject" found in the masterpiece Water and Dreams (L'Eau et les Rêves) by the French philosopher and literary critic Gaston Bachelard. Bachelard viewed the "ship" not merely as a means of transport, but as a space onto which the archetypal human desire to depart from the world and linger in one's own solitude is projected. He defined water as a substance that cleanses the soul and a mirror that expands the self. This project visualizes a time of rest, where one retreats from the noise of the world to refine the self, set against an infinity pool where the boundary between the infinite sea and the pool vanishes.
The line "A fluid sanctuary drifting on the tide" in the lyrics sings of an existential space free from external pressures. Furthermore, the declaration "I restore the inner strength to master and control" reflects the designer's resolve to reclaim the initiative in life through her solitude.
A time when the world's noise fades away, and only your own universe rises above the horizon. Following the gaze of the designer who draws new strength from the deepest solitude within herself, I hope you enjoy a time of pleasant contemplation as you encounter your true self.
