00:09But they have one of the best players we've ever seen on defense
00:11and the ultimate sack artist here in Myles Garrett.
00:14Now, I always thought it was interesting where Myles Garrett took a hardline stance show, what, two years ago?
00:18I'm not playing for Cleveland anymore. His team stinks. The organization stinks.
00:21I demand a trade. And then Jimmy Haslam goes, what if I pay you more money than anybody else?
00:26Love it. Cleveland. Awesome. I want to stay here.
00:28But then again, how many times have we saw this playbook?
00:31Let me make sure I get more money than anybody else can possibly pay me.
00:35Then when I get it, I'll put up record-breaking numbers.
00:38And then maybe behind the scenes say, now's the time to look for a trade.
00:41But we didn't actually hear that.
00:42But you know what's interesting, Joe, in the offseason?
00:44Cleveland made a slight tweak to that contract from Myles Garrett.
00:48And beat writers picked up going like, wait a second.
00:51This isn't really moving money around, but this actually makes him easy to trade.
00:55And the Browns go, no, no, no, no, no.
00:57No, just bookkeeping. Don't you dare read into this.
01:00Fast forward to yesterday, Joe, June the 1st.
01:03Myles Garrett on the move from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams.
01:08For Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second, and a 2029 third.
01:15The best pass rusher in the NFL goes to LA to bolster that defense.
01:19And Cleveland gets a solid piece back and a lot of future capital, Joe.
01:24So I think both teams won in this equation.
01:27Yeah, it is a win-win.
01:29And, you know, this is just more fallout from the whole, you know, Deshaun Watson signing here, Donnie.
01:36This is all this is here.
01:38It's just, I don't know.
01:40When you're talking about Deshaun Watson as a possible starting quarterback this year,
01:44that tells you everything about the state of the Browns.
01:49And that's fine.
01:49I mean, listen, you're stuck paying him.
01:52But, you know, it is time to cut your losses.
01:54We saw Denver do this a couple of years ago, right?
01:57When Sean Payton came in, $85 million in dead money.
02:00They're like, you got to go.
02:02Like, we have to hit the reset button.
02:04Yes, it should have been done earlier.
02:06But it's not too late to hit the reset button.
02:09And finally, the Browns have decided now's the time.
02:12And, by the way, I mean, he didn't even meet with the new head coach, by the way.
02:17Because you didn't hire his D.C. who he wanted as head coach.
02:21If he had, Garrett probably would not have wanted to leave.
02:26But since you did, yeah, he was looking for a new destination.
02:30Boy, did he get an upgrade in destinations here, Donnie.

02:35Pushing your chips to the center of the table.
02:36That's what the Los Angeles Rams are doing here.
02:38And if you take a look at some of the sportsbooks out there with team totals for the Rams,
02:42they took a shot yesterday.
02:44Why?
02:44Because they got the best defensive player in football to come over to an already talented
02:48team with the MVP in Matthew Stafford and dominance across the board and a great head coach.
02:54You take a look at the Rams' win total here.
02:56The 11.5 sticks out, Joe, to the over.
02:58It's juiced at minus 130 here.
03:0112 wins expected for the Rams.
03:03That is a talented division here, Joe.
03:05But after getting that bolstered, you already probably liked the Rams as you looked at them.
03:09Now you give them an absolutely outrageous defensive end.
03:13Sky's the limit for the Rams in 2026.
03:16Well, and they saw what we all saw, Donnie.
03:18They had issues with the secondary.
03:20And when Sam Darnold is picking you apart, you got issues.
03:25So they addressed those.
03:26But the other big issue, Donnie, was they couldn't get to Sam Darnold.
03:30They couldn't get any sacks.
03:31And as good as Jared Verse is, and he's a young, he's going to be in his league for a
03:36while,
03:37they couldn't get to the quarterback.
03:38If you can't get to the quarterback, that's a problem.
03:42And they just solved that problem as well.
03:45So the defensive side of the ball is going to be much better than the version we saw a year
03:50ago.
03:52NFC West is going to be absolutely out of control.
03:54Well, let's hear a little snippet here from the Super Bowl champion, said Coach in McDonald.

04:07I just, I don't care.
04:10I just care where we're at.
04:11It's not trying to be a chach, but just don't care.

04:19And you should care because the best defender just went into your division to try to stop

04:38Two to one behind them is the Seahawks, who just won the Super Bowl.
04:41That's how much people are looking at that roster for the Rams going like, that's the

04:51You now have gone from having not having to face the best defensive player in the NFL
04:59that will wreck, wreck your Sam Darnold quarterback into offense.
05:04You've got to now play him twice a year, and you don't care.
05:07You don't care that Miles Garrett's going to live in your backfield for two games?

05:13Let's see if he cares when they play him, Donnie.

05:34Should be a lot of fun to watch.
05:35For me, again, as an Eagles fan, don't really love this, but hey, sometimes you've got to

05:40Now from a Cleveland Browns perspective with that move, Jared Verse, good defensive end.

05:48Chance to find your quarterback and continue to tank, which the only way to get better sometimes
05:52is to rack up those draft picks here, save some capital on the salary cap, and then go
05:56all in when you figure you're back on the upswing.

06:03The Cleveland Browns win total five and a half games, which means you're probably looking
06:08at six and 12, whatever it would be.

07:21It's probably going to be a 20-28 first-round pick.
07:23But we have beat writers coming out as of yesterday at Jocena Anderson.
07:27Deal's not done.
07:28We don't think it's going to be a one.
07:29And it comes out, of course, it's a one at this point.
07:31These guys shook hands, Joe, months ago and just said,
07:34don't tell anybody about this and everything will be fine.
07:37Because the one thing we know about the NFL, Joe,
07:39they don't like litigation.
07:40They don't want surprises here.
07:41Can you imagine if this trade was agreed to a month ago
07:44and the Eagles backed out of it and sent A.J.
07:46Brown to the Rams out of nowhere when the Patriots thought they had that?
07:49The Eagles drafted their wide receiver.
07:50The Patriots didn't draft their wide receiver on draft night,
07:53whether it's first round, second round, or third round there.
07:56This was interesting.
07:56But the deal went down.
07:58A.J. always wanted to be a Patriot.
07:59Now he's a Patriot.
08:01The Eagles moved forward, drafted their first-round wide receiver,
08:03and got compensation back in the future.
08:06A.J.'s happy again.
08:07The Eagles got some decent draft compensation.
08:09And away you go.
08:09But I will say this.
08:11It's hard to replace number one wide receivers in the NFL.
08:13Now, if the Eagles think his knee might be bulky,
08:15that's one thing or another.
08:16But a guy in his prime that demands double coverage,
08:19that helps your entire offense, Joe.
08:21And that's not going to be in Philadelphia anymore.

08:24I mean, 6'1", 6'2", 225 wide receivers don't grow on trees, Donnie.

08:33And for a young quarterback like Drake May,

08:38and Josh McDaniels is going to figure out ways to get him involved a lot this year.

09:41The Rams get their high flight, top ready pass rusher,
09:45and the Browns looking to hit that reset button with extra young draft capital.

09:51Listen, this was the big one yesterday because it just took the Rams from –
09:58I still don't know about that defense too.
10:01Yep.
10:01All right, they're the favorites to win it all.
10:05I mean, both sides.
10:07They've got the offense.
10:08They've got one of the best head coaches.
10:10And now they have not only a defense that can rush the quarterback, Donnie,
10:15they improved the secondary, got a shutdown corner.
10:18They did everything they were supposed to do.
10:21I just don't know why more organizations and teams don't do this in the NFL.
10:26Yeah, like it's a bad thing to get the best player on defense in the NFL.
10:31Like, even though the San Francisco 49ers didn't win a Super Bowl, they got to one.
10:35But do you remember, Joe, like, Christian McCaffrey for like a second-round pick?

10:40Carolina stole – oh, you think Carolina stole that deal?
10:42Like, where do we ever get the notion of like you're handing over really good players for prospects
10:47and you like the prospects better than the really good proven player?

10:51You already won one doing this.
10:53If they win another one, sometimes you've got to change the aspects of the way you do business.

10:58That's what your fan wants, and that's what the right thing to do is.
11:01The Philadelphia Eagles, they went all in a couple years ago.
11:04Got A.J. Brown for a first-round draft pick.
11:06Turned out to be two Super Bowl appearances, one Super Bowl championship.
11:10Sometimes wide receivers are crazy.
11:12Even though you're winning Super Bowls and making deep playoff runs,
11:15wide receivers want the football.
11:17They want to win, but they want to win on their own terms.
11:19Yeah, we won because I had 10 catches, 138 yards, and two scores.
11:22When you win and have three catches and 33 yards, that doesn't work out so well.
11:26New England needed a number one.
11:27They got a number one.
11:28The Eagles got the compensation they were looking for back
11:30and looked to move forward without A.J. Brown.
11:33Big deal yesterday.
11:34The New England Patriots looking to try to get back to the Super Bowl, add some firepower.
11:39Listen, we knew it was happening, Donnie.
11:42Everybody knew it was happening.
11:44It wasn't a matter if, just a matter of when.
11:46And now, listen, you know, at 30 years old, he's certainly got a couple of more years in him,
11:53and that gives New England finally, and they didn't have this last year
11:57and somehow made it to the Super Bowl, but a legit number one?

12:04This is going to be interesting this year.
12:07Yeah, when good football teams get better about any good players,
12:09it usually makes some sense.

12:21He's a personality, corny at times, but certainly he does know the game.

12:29Hopefully there's time for him to, you know, un-retire, so to speak,

12:36It's the only team I know that offered him a contract, Donnie,
12:39but it would be great to get him and Geno in there, win three games,
12:43secure that number one pick next year, and we move on.

14:33And then all of a sudden when everybody went radio silent, you knew something was going to happen.
14:37But, Kevin, before we talked about A.J. Brown, lightning bolt struck yesterday.
14:42Miles Garrett from Cleveland to Los Angeles sent everybody in a tizzy.
14:47What were your initial thoughts when you heard this trade went down?
14:50Yeah, wow.
14:51I mean, I think it was a stunning move just because it happened so quickly.
14:57I know there was a bit of scuttlebutt in the morning that, you know, Miles Garrett could be out of
15:02Cleveland.
15:03We all remember when they reworked the Miles Garrett contract.
15:07And pretty much the only reason to do that was so they could trade Miles Garrett.
15:13And I think you have this pretty rare situation.
15:17Like, I like to play the game, if you will, right?
15:20Like, sometimes a trade comes out and people are like, ah, we'll see if it works out for them.
15:25Like, no, tell me if you think it's going to work out for them.
15:27The Rams thing is a true pass or fail situation.
15:31Did they win the Super Bowl?
15:32Good trade.
15:33Did they not win the Super Bowl?
15:36Bad trade.
15:37I think it's actually that simple.
15:40They are almost acting as if there is no league coming at the end of this season,
15:45which is why the clear and obvious take is the Ty Simpson pick is one of the worst picks
15:52you've ever seen a franchise make.
15:55And I feel like them going in for Miles Garrett is almost as if they're still trying to make up
16:01to Stafford, McVay, and the fans for the Simpson pick.
16:05We're like, no, we promise.
16:07We're all in.
16:08Look, here's Jared Verson three picks out the door for Miles Garrett.
16:12Yeah.
16:14Yeah, but you got to love the all in mentality, though, because so many franchises don't have
16:20this.
16:21They don't have this gene.
16:23They don't have the front office mentality.
16:25They did it five years ago.
16:27So why wouldn't they do it again if given the opportunity?
16:30So, you know, Les Snead and Miles, they probably don't agree on everything.
16:34But the reality is, is currently constructed right now, they're the favorite.
16:38And good luck, Seattle, because having Miles Garrett rush the quarterback on a Rams team
16:45is a lot different than Jared Versus, is it not?
16:49It's different.
16:50I don't know if it's like a lot different.
16:53I'm being like, maybe I'm that's crazy out of me.
16:56Miles Garrett is better.
16:58Jared Versus is really good.
17:00Like they didn't address an area of weakness.
17:02They just, they upgraded and they were already the favorites.
17:07I agree with you, though.
17:08I like the all in mentality because they trust their quarterback coach combination.
17:13And maybe more than anything, they trust their coach, right?
17:16Like the salary cap and the picks can all come do and put you in a bad spot unless you
17:22have a rock star head coach who can probably make do with just about anything as at least
17:28the thought in Los Angeles, and it probably is why teams, you know, like Buffalo or Baltimore
17:34or whomever it may be should be more aggressive.
17:37The thing is, I don't know how many other teams could have made this trade.
17:42The Browns were adamant in getting back Jared Versus, right?
17:45So a pretty much established all pro level talent with multiple years left on his rookie
17:53deal.
17:54Like Donnie, I think some people were mentioned.
17:55Oh, what about Jalen Carter, right?
17:57And Jared Versus spot, Jalen Carter is too far along compared to Jared Versus.
18:04Like I think Carter Versus is an interesting conversation, but not when you talk about
18:08value to the franchise.
18:11Yeah, certainly a guy that can certainly take over and dominate.
18:14I thought both of those teams made out well where, yeah, you probably overpaid a little
18:17bit for Myles Garrett, but the goal is to win a Super Bowl.
18:19You're not worried about overpaying a couple of picks here if you get the job done.
18:22And in Cleveland, who never should have had Myles Garrett on that roster the past couple
18:26of years and should have never have re-signed him here, they end up getting out of that
18:29here.
18:29So I think it worked out for both.
18:31Now, as we switch over to the Philadelphia Eagles and A.J.
18:34Brown, the worst kept secret in the NFL that the Patriots and the Eagles had a deal
18:37worked out.
18:38And a lot of, as they call them, bozos out here in the process, oh, no way it's going
18:42to be a one.
18:42And it's still the door is wide open.
18:44Do you really think that if we would have had a deal, like A.J.
18:47Brown wasn't going to be traded soon to the Patriots, where you were going to ship him
18:50off to, let's just say, Arizona, and that was going to be fine?
18:53You knew that deal was in place.
18:54But understand this, too.
18:55A.J.
18:56Brown is wild.
18:57And Kevin and I do a lot of shows talking about A.J.
18:59Brown and his antics there, where the wide receiver mentality is so much different than
19:03everybody else.
19:04Like in college, I played on a bad football team.
19:06You know what I loved?
19:06Every fourth quarter, we were throwing the football.
19:08There were some games that we lost, and I would have like 10 catches for a buck 40 and two
19:12scores.
19:12I'd be like, that feels pretty good.
19:13Let me go tell the people about what I did.
19:15And there were games we won, Kevin.
19:17One catch, nine yards.
19:18I'm like, yeah, we won.
19:19But boy, it would have been more fun if I had more catches, and we won this.

19:23Brown was in Super Bowls, scoring touchdowns, getting as many targets as he wanted.
19:28But there were games mixed in where, hey, the Eagles are unbeaten their last six, seven
19:32games.
19:32But A.J.'s unhappy because he's not winning his way.
19:36It's just the way it goes down.
19:37Who'll go to New England, Kevin?
19:38He's going to get 15 targets a game.
19:40But what did you think when it finally all went down yesterday, where A.J.
19:43Brown went to New England?
19:45Yeah, I mean, the Eagles completely worked the Patriots.
19:48So here's, I saw a respected Eagles beat reporter try and downplay the return here.
19:54What world are they living in?
19:57Again, people were saying, oh, I don't know if A.J.
19:59Brown goes for a first-round pick.
20:01Everybody knew the Eagles were done with A.J., and A.J.
20:04was done with the Eagles.
20:06And Philly was like, yeah, we can't trade him until June 1st.
20:09And the Pats were like, okay, give us a call.
20:12We'll be here.
20:13Whatever you want.
20:14Oh, because the Eagles have to wait for the 28 draft pick instead of the 27 draft pick.
20:18First of all, the 26 draft pick is what New England wanted to give up because it was 31st
20:22overall.
20:23Newsflash, it's probably not going to be picked 31 or 32 in 2028.
20:27And it's more likely it's a bad pick in 2028 than in 2027.
20:31So the Eagles dictated the terms while having zero leverage.

22:44Let's get to the NFL because the news yesterday was shocking.
22:47The A.J. Brown news to the New England Patriots.
22:49We'll get to that in just a little bit.
22:50Not so shocking here.
22:51We thought that was going to happen.
22:52What we didn't think was going to happen, that Miles Garrett also would be traded on June 1st.
22:57And the place he was traded to, the Los Angeles Rams, Joe, going all in.
23:02So, if we take a look at the Rams on the Calci marketplace and their win total for 2026, you
23:07are paying an absolute premium here.
23:10As I scroll down, Joe, you're actually a $100 investment to get 12 or more wins.
23:16Doesn't even give you back $200 even.
23:18You're paying a little bit here at a $189 price point now, Joe.
23:22The sky is limited, it feels like, for the Rams.
23:24But we know injuries and a long season do play into it.
23:28Sure, they might do some damage.
23:30But I don't know if I want to pay technical juice on a 12-win season, Joe.
23:34But those are the expectations.
23:37Yeah, and the problem is, Donnie, at this point in the game, there is no value in backing them to
23:43go over this number here.
23:45I mean, it's a long season.
23:47There's no reason to jump in now.
23:49Now, what I would hope for is maybe a early season loss, Donnie, something along those lines that you can
23:56jump in at a better number.
23:58But this is not a market where I'd say, yeah, run in.
24:02You either fade the Rams win total at this point or you wait until the season starts and maybe they
24:08get a early loss or two along the way and you can jump in at a better price.
24:13I do think they're a long-term bet that you have to consider for ultimately winning everything.
24:20But, you know, at this price, Donnie, there is no value in them.
24:25No value here, but value sometimes, Joe, in the eye of the beholders.
24:28You take a look at the Cleveland Browns.
24:30You expect expectations to be higher?
24:32No.
24:32They're going to be lower when you trade away your best football player.
24:35But you've got a good pass rusher back.
24:36You've got some future capital.
24:38Does that translate into wins this year?
24:40And also remind ourselves, a new head coach coming in and a new regime.
24:44If you look now, seven-plus wins is currently at 42% now for the Cleveland Browns.
24:50A yes contract is $0.42.
24:51The no is $0.61.
24:53I don't think Cleveland, to be honest, Joe, is getting seven wins this year,
24:56nor do they maybe want to get that.
24:58So a no contract, which means six wins or less, $100 investment pays back $164.
25:04I don't have high expectations on the Cleveland Browns,
25:07meaning I don't think they're going to be anywhere near $500 this year, Joe.
25:11Yeah, I don't think so either.
25:13And I think it's rebuild mode.
25:14I think that's how they're approaching it here.
25:17I think they'll be competitive.
25:18I also don't think the AFC North, Donnie, is going to be some sort of juggernaut,
25:23or though it does look like the Ravens are still priced at about 11 and a half wins this season.
25:29But I still think that, yeah, getting to $500 is going to be a monumental task for the Browns.
25:37I still think fading, and again, even with Myles Garrett, Donnie, what'd they win?
25:43Six, seven games?
25:44It's to expect them to do better without him?
25:47I just don't see it here.
25:50Jared Verst, 25 years old.
25:52Very good pass rusher here.
25:53He comes back, so you have a viable component, even if they're losing back on Myles Garrett.
25:57But the quick turnaround could happen, Joe.
25:59Look at 2027, the draft picks here for the Cleveland Browns.
26:03Two ones, a two, a three.
26:05Looks like three fours, two fives, and a seventh year.
26:08You can start that rebound, but as we know, Joe, you need the quarterback to catapult it.
26:13Could it be Shador?
26:14Could it be Dylan Gabriel?
26:15Do you ever rebirth that quarterback from a player you traded for and gave a couple of hundred million dollars
26:20in Mr. Deshaun Watson?
26:22But maybe, maybe, Joe, it happens sooner than later.
26:27Listen, you have, you got to have the assets, right?
26:31You got to have the capital in order to be able to do it.
26:33The biggest question mark here, Donnie, with the Browns is the same question mark it's been for the last 30
26:38years.
26:39You have to find a quarterback you believe in.
26:42So whether that means now it's going to happen in what is going to be the most quarterback-rich draft
26:48we have seen in a very long time,
26:50whatever that may be, if it's Sanders, whatever.
26:54But you're going to have to find one.
26:57And before you do, Donnie, you can't really rebuild without building with that first block,
27:03which we all know has escaped them over the last 30 years, is finding that franchise quarterback.
27:09Exactly.
27:10First, or should I say, the team to make the first overall pick in 2027 in the draft.
27:15This is an interesting one here.
27:16The yes contracts, Joe, will tell you.
27:19Arizona, 36 cents.
27:20Miami, also at 36 cents.
27:22The New York Jets at 34 cents.
27:24Vegas at 30 cents.
27:26And Cleveland at 28 cents.
27:28But you know, as the best chance is listed here, Kansas City at 45% and Pittsburgh at 40%.
27:35Now, what are we dealing with here?
27:37A knee injury to Patrick Mahomes, which looks like he's getting healthier and should be there week number one.
27:41And Pittsburgh with Aaron Rodgers.
27:43Could these seasons completely go sideways and they tank out to get their future started?
27:48Those are interesting numbers, but the prevailing wisdom is bad football teams stay bad.
27:52Miami, Arizona, New York, and the Las Vegas squad here, which again, Las Vegas just drafted their future quarterback.
27:59Would they still bottom out with Kirk Cousins?
28:01Interesting look for the Raiders here.
28:03Yeah, it is an interesting look for the Raiders.
28:07But I still think the Arizonas of the world, the Jets of the world, I think there's going to be
28:14a level of, you know, futility here that is going to be over the top.
28:18And it would not shock me at all if one of those two teams, and there's only a handful of
28:24teams, Donnie, I believe, that have no primetime games this year on the schedule.
28:30The NFL looked at them, including the Jets, including the Cardinals, I think the Browns, and all looked at them
28:35and said, yeah, we are not putting, we are not going to subject the entire world to anything in a
28:42standalone game like that.
28:44One of those teams is likely going to have that number one pick.
28:48Now, the Philadelphia Eagles made a big trade with A.J. Brown.
28:51You don't get better when you trade a great wide receiver away, but they did get some draft capital back.
28:55But still, very good defense here, a lot of weapons on offense.
28:57And certainly, if that offensive line could stay healthy, they could do some damage.
29:01We look at their win total, Joe.
29:0210-plus wins, which means a 10-7 season.
29:06The yes contract is $0.65, $100 investment, only pays back $154.
29:11But a big divide between 10 and 11 wins, Joe.
29:14You go 11 wins, that contract goes from $0.65 at $0.10 to $0.44 here at $0.11.
29:20Seems like they're factored in right around 10 and a half, Joe.
29:24Yeah, listen, we talked about it, Donnie.
29:26I think win-win situation here for both teams, although we are a little less uncertain.
29:34We know what he brings to the table, A.J. Brown, certainly what he's going to mean to New England.
29:38But you do have a rookie, you know, you're drafted as A.J. Brown's replacement in Philadelphia.
29:43You still have pretty much all the other pieces in place.
29:47It would make sense that I would expect that next step to happen for Philadelphia here this season.
29:55And by the way, A.J. Brown, ah, I didn't get the ball enough in Philadelphia.
29:59Four seasons, 339 catches, 5,000 yards receiving, 32 touchdowns.
30:04Super Bowl champion, played in two of those, scored a touchdown in each one of those, and also a three
30:09-time All-Pro.
30:10Not a three-time Pro Bowler, a three-time All-Pro.

30:23Two of them won't factor into the division standings this year.
30:25That's the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets.
30:27The two teams looking for vying for top spot?
30:30It's the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots.
30:32And the reason why we bring this up is A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots.
30:35Does that change the balance of power, which you saw last year, go to New England?
30:39But apparently the chances, Joe, not the same.
30:4358% is a chance for the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC East.
30:46New England Patriots at 38%.
30:49Is there value on the Patriots here?
30:51Or is it hard to go from the Super Bowl second place to making it back to the Super Bowl,
30:56which includes winning your division?
31:00Yeah, you know, listen, I think if you like the Bills, right, you like the Bills not only
31:05to win the AFC East, but you're also betting them to win the AFC altogether.
31:10And I think the Ravens are in that category as well, that if you like them to win the AFC
31:16championship, then you certainly like them to win the AFC North.
31:20I think all of that is correlated.
31:22So the question is, do you trust New England or some other team in the AFC, the Chiefs?
31:30Do you trust any of them to make it finally make a bounce back and take it to the next
31:36level?
31:36I don't exactly here.
31:39I do think the long shot value in the AFC is obviously the Chiefs, but a lot still has
31:45to be determined with the injury here to Patrick Mahomes.
31:48This is fantastic stuff as it plays out, too, because the AFC championship winner, so many
31:52times you take a look at sports, like there's a runaway team, a runaway two teams.
31:55That's not the case, Joe.
31:57Buffalo, 15% chance.
31:59Kansas City, 14%.
32:00Baltimore, 13%.
32:02Chargers, 12%.
32:03Two teams at 10%.
32:04And down the line we go.
32:06But Buffalo, the slight favorite in the AFC for a team, Joe, has never gotten over the hump,
32:11it feels like, with Josh Young to get at least into the Super Bowl here.
32:15Yeah, and some changes there in Buffalo.
32:18So, I mean, you know, not the same voice in the locker room anymore.
32:21And how is that going to play out?
32:24I mean, as long as you have Josh Allen under center, you're giving them a chance.
32:28But now Patrick Mahomes is back.
32:30And now you've got, you know, what is Lamar going to bring to the table?
32:35Is he finally going to be healthy enough to finish the year with a new head coach?
32:39A lot of question marks in some of these teams.
32:42How about these question marks, Joe, in the NFC?
32:44Now, we saw yesterday the trade, which went Cleveland.
32:47And Miles Garrett said, okay, you got your new home in sunny Los Angeles here.
32:50And now you're seeing a surge of Rams, excuse me, surge of the Rams price point here.
32:55They're up to 24% to win the NFC championship, which is up 8% just from yesterday alone.
33:02Seattle, Detroit, Green Bay, and Chicago.
33:04Now, when we talk about the marketplace, Joe, like, hey, you might like the Rams.
33:08Well, now you're playing a premium here, which means, Joe, do we have value on the teams behind them that
33:14are now trading at lower prices?
33:17Yes, Donnie, because Miles Garrett made the Rams more dangerous.
33:20We know that.
33:21But he also made the entry into backing them even more expensive here.
33:26So, you know, markets don't pay you for loving the move.
33:30They pay you for getting there before anybody else does.
33:33So, unless you got in prior to the Miles Garrett trade news yesterday, it's too late.
33:39The only markets worth considering then are fading some of the other teams, Donnie, the Seattles of the world, right?
33:47Or the 49, some of the other teams in the NFC.
33:50I'd be looking at maybe some no contracts in those markets.
33:55How about the Dallas Cowboys?
33:57Do you think they're finally going to break through and get to a, at least an NFC championship game?
34:01A $100 investment pays back $1,112 if the NFC champion is actually the Dallas Cowboys.
34:08Been since the mid-1990s since that's happened here.
34:11But also, Joe, the 2027 pro football champion, who's going to raise the Lombardi?
34:17And once again, surging in the NFC standings as well as the Super Bowl standings.
34:21It's the Los Angeles Rams in the Cal State marketplace.
34:24A 17% chance, almost double, Joe, the team in second place, which is Seattle in their own division.
34:31Followed by Buffalo, Kansas City, and Baltimore.
34:33For me, the Rams are so heavily favored, Joe.
34:36I probably don't look towards the NFC, but the AFC to find that value.
34:39Why?
34:40Because you got to beat the Rams.
34:42You got to play them in the Super Bowl here.
34:44Maybe that contract's already valuable in the AFC once you get to that point.
34:48Yeah, and that's not a bad way to go.
34:51I mean, at this price point in entry for the Rams, we pretty much lost the value.
34:56But that doesn't mean they're not going to win.
34:59Even if you, like, wanted to bet them, Donnie, and you were going,
35:02hey, I like the Rams to win it all, I just don't like the price.
35:05Well, then, bet them being, they have to be NFC West champs.
35:09They have to be the NFC champs before they win it all.
35:13So, you know, pick your spots here or begin to fade some of the other teams
35:18that the market might have overpriced as well.
35:21Like, hard to get back, as we know.
35:23Like, we talked about that New England.
35:24Like, yeah, you got bounces and breaks, and you didn't even have to play, like,
35:27Drake, or excuse me, Bo Nix once you got to the AFC championship game.
35:30Then they get A.J. Brown.
35:32It's like only a 5% chance for the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl next year.
35:36Boy, it's hard in the NFL.
35:37You need a lot of breaks.
35:38You need a great schedule.
35:39You need to be healthy at the same time.
35:40Like, teams like the Green Bay Packers, 4%.
35:43Houston, 4%.
35:44We're talking about playoff teams, Joe.
35:463%, 4%, and 5% here.
35:48A fun run it will be, but we're in the month of June here.
35:51Next month is July in training camps.
35:53August is then going into those preseason games.
35:55Then we find the first week of September into the regular season.
