00:00I think technology has a very important role to play in making food more available to the world
00:06because we can make agriculture more efficient by having precision agriculture,
00:11giving farmers better access to data,
00:14and we can also make the equipment much more sustainable
00:17by enabling it to become electric or to run on methane,
00:21so we can actually transform the face of agriculture with new technologies.
00:25The two key technologies that I want to highlight is first of all bringing in electric power,
00:32so we are now developing electric tractors together with our partner Monarch in the U.S.,
00:37and also methane tractors.
00:39So methane tractors are running on the manure from cattle, for example.
00:44We can capture the methane from that, and we can use those to power tractors,
00:49and this is a much, much more sustainable way for us to do agriculture.
00:53CNH is very keen to work with countries all over the world
00:56to develop the best machines that are going to work in different geographies.
01:01We're very conscious that we need to develop machines that are going to work in different geographies,
01:06so what works, for example, in the United States won't be appropriate when we come to India.
01:11So we're working with local farmers and local dealers
01:13to come up with the most sustainable and efficient agricultural products
