00:00The single patient record is going to transform how the NHS works because at
00:05the moment health information is fragmented across the system and we've
00:09all had that experience of having to tell the GP once and then people at a
00:13hospital again and again our symptoms or our experiences or our concerns and what
00:18this will mean is all of that data which is currently fragmented will be joined
00:21up together which means that clinicians can take better quicker safer decisions
00:27we don't have to repeat our histories again and again and in a few years time
00:31we'll all be able to see our data on the NHS app so we'll be in control of our
00:34medical records
