00:00Hey everyone, well I am here with Sky Perryman, who is the director of Democracy Forward, which
00:05is one of the non-profit law firms that has been suing the administration for all of the illegal
00:10stuff they've been doing. And they have a huge announcement because they had a huge win today
00:15in the courts. Tell us what happened. We did today a federal court in Virginia issued an order that
00:20said that President Trump, the Department of Justice, the federal government, they can't be
00:23paying funds out of the slush fund. They can't move funds around, they can't do anything with
00:28the slush fund until the courts can determine whether it's lawful. We know it's unlawful,
00:32that's why we brought suit. But today is a great win for the American people because this
00:36administration just keeps trying to avoid accountability, move things around, and we've
00:40had this great win today. And this is the slush fund of over a billion dollars where Donald Trump
00:45is claiming that he was suing the IRS, but then he settled with them, and then he was going to
00:50give
00:51money as part of this settlement to January Sixers and people who not only stormed the Capitol but
00:55attack police. So huge win. High fives. Yeah. You guys did it. And Congress, time to get our act
01:02together. We got to kill this thing. So to all my colleagues out there, huge win in the courts today,
01:08but let's get out there and let's kill this thing once and for all. Hey everyone, Suhas here. So I
01:13just
01:13got done talking to former Attorney General Pam Bondi about the Epstein files, and here's four or five
01:18things that I thought were really interesting. One, I asked her if they were looking for Trump's name in the
01:23files before they released them, and she said she didn't recall. And so I think that's interesting
01:28because that was only like a year ago. It doesn't seem like that long ago. And if she was asked
01:32by
01:32the president or anyone else to look for his name, I think she would remember that. Two, she said that
01:37she wasn't involved in Ghislaine Maxwell being moved to a minimum security prison, but that she loves the
01:44Bureau of Prisons, thinks they're doing a great job, and she thinks that if someone was in danger, that it
01:49makes sense. And it doesn't make sense to me that Maxwell was moved at all. She's a monster. And even
01:54Pam Bondi admitted that. Three, she said she didn't think it was appropriate to meet with the survivors,
01:59and she also hadn't heard of them requesting information or requesting a meeting. So it seems
02:05like the DOJ is ignoring survivors in this whole process. Four, she kept on telling us when we asked
02:11substantive questions, talk to Todd Blanch, talk to Kash Patel. So you know what, we're going to try to talk
02:16to Todd Blanch and Kash Patel. I hope Republicans will join us when we try to push for a subpoena
02:20of
02:20those two. And then finally, she just didn't answer a lot of questions. There are DOJ officials there
02:26to basically get in the way of her answering questions. They would stop her sometimes.
02:30Other times she would just say she doesn't know, she doesn't recall. But clearly she knew the answers
02:35to some of these questions just wouldn't do it. The Republicans set it up so that she didn't have
02:39to answer questions or could refuse to answer questions because, you know, they're part of this whole
02:44thing. But in the end, we're going to continue to force the answers to questions. We're going to
02:48continue to fight this cover-up. We're going to continue our investigation.
02:52Hey everyone, it's Robert Garcia, and I actually just landed back home in California. I'm on my way
02:57headed back to Long Beach. We have, of course, a big weekend, primary election on Tuesday. Just
03:03finished interviewing Pam Bondi for a few hours back in Washington, D.C. It was crazy. She deflected
03:10questions. She wouldn't answer questions about Trump. I asked her five separate times questions
03:15about Trump, which she refused to answer. She blamed Todd Blanche. And most importantly, it's clear
03:22that she's at the center of this White House cover-up. And so a lot happened, a lot to do
03:27in
03:27the weeks ahead to ensure that we get justice for the survivors. But I also want to remind you all
03:32to
03:32vote. This is the last weekend before the election. I really need all votes from my Orange County cities,
03:38from Long Beach, from Signal Hill, from so many places. I'm excited to be back. I'll see you around,
03:43and let's keep fighting for the truth and for justice. Thanks so much.
03:46Today's ridiculous charade has made astonishingly clear that the United States Department of Justice
03:52has been weaponized by Donald Trump to ensure that the most massive cover-up in American history
04:00is carried out. And this is being enabled by Republicans in Congress, led by Republican Chairman
04:06James Comer and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. This entire Epstein investigation led by Chairman
04:13Comer has been absurd. We are, we have two legal subpoenas against attorney, former Attorney General
04:20Pam Bondi. She is supposed to be here under oath today on video answering questions for the American
04:28people about her role and the direct hand that she had in this cover-up. Instead, she is deflecting,
04:35she is refusing to answer questions, and she continues to refuse to answer specific questions
04:41about the President of the United States. It is so clear that whether it be Pam Bondi, whether it be
04:48Chairman Comer, whether it be Mike Johnson, the entire party is terrified of Donald Trump and his
04:55retaliation as it pertains to the cover-up of the Epstein files. It's unacceptable. It is notable that
05:01she continues to blame Todd Blanche and Kash Patel. We, of course, want to speak to them. But I think
05:07what I want to make clear to the American public and to everybody and to the survivors especially,
05:12is that we are not going to give up on this. I think Republicans believe that they just kind of
05:17carry out these nonsense transcribed interviews and don't show up here today, that we will forget
05:25about this. We are just getting started as it pertains to accountability and justice for the survivors of
05:32Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and any other rich and powerful person in this country who perpetrated these crimes.
