00:00You know, obviously this was a unique opportunity, you know, being asked and
00:07given the opportunity to introduce the President of the United States.
00:12You know, my thinking was pretty simple in the fact of, you know,
00:19I've always loved this country.
00:21I have extended family members who have fought in wars.
00:25I have two uncles who have retired from the Air Force Academy.
00:30And serve themselves.
00:32And I even have a great-grandfather who served as Secretary of Treasury at some point.
00:38So the President position has always been a position that I've well respected,
00:43regardless of political affiliation.
00:47My intentions were just that.
00:50I also understand in this world, politics can be a sensitive matter, a sensitive topic.
00:56I also understand that I am the quarterback of the New York Giants,
01:00and that involves a lot of responsibility.
01:04It's under a limelight, under a microscope, and there's a lot that comes with that.
01:09And it's been something that I've embraced.
01:10I've loved being here.
01:12I've loved the city of New York.
01:13I love the city of New Jersey.
01:15The people that I've met here, it's just been a really amazing experience.
01:19And there's not another place that I'd rather be.
01:23Most importantly, the people in this organization, my teammates, the staff, coaches,
01:31everybody that has a hand, Jose, you name it.
01:36I've loved making relationships with them and growing connections.
01:42And that's the kind of person that I am.
01:44I'm a connector.
01:44I love making relationships with people.
01:46I love hearing everybody's stories and being somebody who people can rely on to be there for them.
01:54And most importantly, I can honestly say that I love every single one of my brothers,
01:59my teammates on this team, regardless of politics, regardless of religious beliefs,
02:04regardless of anything that may be different between us.
02:08Like, I love them.
02:10And they know exactly what kind of person that I am, who comes into the facility every day,
02:15and, you know, who lays, you know, I lay my body on the line for my guys each and every
02:20week.
02:20And, you know, it's from the connections that we build, the love that we have for each other.
02:26And, you know, I've been somebody who's always respected, you know,
02:31the different perspectives that people may have,
02:33the backgrounds that they come from.
02:34I understand that, you know, we have such a cool opportunity as people, you know,
02:40to be in a locker room where it's a melting pot of people from everywhere,
02:43and we get to be together.
02:45You know, I think that the connections that we build are special
02:49because, you know, we're able to have vulnerable conversations.
02:51We're able to learn from each other, to support each other,
02:56irrespective of the color of our skin.
02:59And, you know, we have a real brotherhood.
03:03We've had a lot of honest conversations with each other as a team,
03:07and I like to keep those things private between me and my teammates
03:14and just everything that's been said.
03:17But, you know, I love these guys, and going forward,
03:20I can't wait for what more we have to grow, you know,
03:24the culture of this team, our brotherhood.
03:27And obviously we understand the biggest goal is to be the best team that we can be,
03:32to put ourselves in the best position to succeed, to chase a championship,
03:37to be the best players for Coach Harbs and all the coaches here.
03:42And, you know, that's our focus going forward each and every day,
03:44and can't wait to continue to do that.
